Aurora stood out on a small walkway in front of a small school. A pink backpack hung on one of her shoulders as she played with it's strap. A fushia beanie hung over her dark brown hair and helped frame her face. A thick purple scarf wrapped itself tightly around her neck as she waited. Two pink mittened hands flew into the air as Flint came into view.
"Bwother! You're hewr!"
"Theres an 'r' dear. Its Brother. And Here. You have to stay on top of that."

He smiled down upon her as he came close enough to place his hand on her shoulder.
"Flint, I missed you. Be sides, My teachwer says I'm gonna be top in my class. Look!" She pulled out a small sheet of paper with the mark '100%' on it.
"I got a hundrwed percent on my fwirst day!"
He crouched down to her height and looked at the paper.
"I'm so proud of you!" he said with a smile, "We'll have to show dad when we get home."
The girl stuffed the paper away then turned to him with upraised arms once more as he stood.
"Carry me?" she asked. His answer was simple as he picked her up and cradled her small body in his arms. From what he could gather she had been sick at a very young age, almost from birth. It seemed that it had stunted her social life and speech but her bed-laden years had caused her to study almost constantly. She was one of the smartest people he had met and in truth part of it was probably from her father. It seemed that both of them had a fondness for learning.
"Lets get home. You can help me make dinner if you want."
"Yaaaaaaaay!"

------------------------

The front door burst open as Krystal made her way to the kitchen.
"Aaaah! It smells so great here!" She came in with her arms up and wrapped them around a little Aurora that came running to her.
"Sister, sister! Look what Brother Flint got me!"
She held up the flower that he had bought for her.
"Aw, how pretty. Just... Like...You!" At the last word she poked Aurora's nose gently causing a small cascade of giggles.
Flint came up to her with a smile, holding a few plates.
"I started placing that table for you since you ran late. You might want to hurry and finish it up."
Krystal gave a nod and started to turn away when she saw the small loaf of cheese bread.
"Oh! When did we get some of this?" she asked excitedly.
"That? Oh yhea, I had a tour of the town today and we stopped in at the bakers. I thought a small treat would be nice. Plus, everyone seems to love that flavor."
"Thank you Flint! You're so kind."
She came up to him and hugged him gently, giving him a kiss on the cheek and taking the plates.
"I'll ask about the 'we' later though." She gave a wink as she finally left the room, allowing Flint time to cover his reddening face with his hand.

Dasha swung onto the doorstep that led to a rather small building. She stomped her boots on the hard rock that was lain below her feet. A bit of mud came off of them before she scrapped them a few times to make sure they were fairly clean.
She turned her face up to the sky and stared up at it. Clouds had gathered and she felt one small raindrop drip down onto her petite nose. She blinked instinctively when it hit her skin and she quickly back to the door. She grabbed hold of the door knob and swung it open. As soon as she had stepped inside, she closed the door again behind her.
The house was dark still, only a bit of light streaming in through the few windows. She took in the dank scent before letting out a small sigh. Her home seemed suddenly dull and....what was it? Lonely? Yes, it felt lonely.
The skin on her bare arms prickled and she placed her hands on them and rubbed slightly.
She walked farther inside and pulled her cloak off. She hung it on a small hook that was on the wall and glanced in the doorway to her left. It was the living room and was very neatly organized. There was nothing out of place about it.
She let out another sigh before walking into it and letting herself fall onto the couch.

Flint stubbled up the stairs, on the way towards his father's work room.
"Professor," he called as he neared the door. He placed his palm against the door, a screek being uttered as it moved under his weight. A small shadowed figure was slumped upon the table's top. A small snoring noise resonated through the room as the figure's back rose and fell.
"Father.... you fell asleep again," he whispered as he stepped up towards the man. His hand went to the man's shoulder and gave a small shake.
"Ah, w-wha? Oh," the man paused the move apart his long charcoal hair, "Flint... I fell asleep. What do you need?"
Flint smiled gently as he spoke.
"Dinner is ready. Plates are on the table. And William should be home soon. I'm going to go take a walk. I need some fresh air. Just make sure that you get some food in you before you start working again."
The Professor waved a hand at him as he stood.
"Ya ya. Go, have fun and stop being my mother. But be home before midnight please."

Dasha stayed sitting for some time, staring at the wall. She thought about the day and what had happened. Surprisingly enough, she had something to think about this time. It was unusual for her, unless, on the occasion, someone hit on her. That didn't sway her much, though. She no longer was flattered when someone complimented her. She had learned long ago that they were empty words, only fueled by testosterone and the male mind.
After a few long moments, she stood from her seat. There was no point in her staying home with nothing to do. Sure, she had done it several times before, but she was feeling restless. She wanted to do something.
She walked back into the hallway that led to her door and grabbed hold of her cloak again. She pulled it around her shoulders and wrapped it carefully, leaving out a decent sized piece which she threw over her head as a make-shift hood.
She walked to the door and opened it again, only to close it...yet again. She stood on the doorstep for a few short moments, glancing up at the gray sky.
'I'll go to the bar,' she thought to herself. 'At least that place is lively.'

Flint jogged down the steps from his house, his arms swinging at his side until he came to the road and jammed them in his pockets. His air gave a faint fog as he breathed. Living next the lake often caused this and he had quickly gotten used to it. It was much better than the month he lived on the fishing boat "the broken crow". Odd name but he fell in love with it and the men that he worked with.
He started a small whistle as he began to walk. He had no direction, no thought of what to do. He simply walked to feel...... the air. Or perhaps it was the feel the sounds all around him. One often would hear them, but to feel them. That was another thing. It gave such a thrilling experience.
A smile prickled his lips until he couldn't contain it anymore.

William ran his fingers through his hair, the orange tipped strands falling into his face. A woman gripped his side and crooned some lovely words to him. He knew what she wanted and she was going to get more than she bargained if she kept pressing. His cool hand ran up her inner thigh and pulled at her pink dress' fringe as she leaned into his chest.
"Lets go William. Get away from here."
She paused to kiss the drops of beer from his last drink from his lips and then some. They embraced for a moment before he pulled away. It was too early for this and he had no time. He sighed as she pressed her self further against him, moving his hand to her waist as she wrapped her legs around him.
"You said you wanted this William. And you can have it. All of it. You just... have... to ....take it."
Again her lips embraced his as she ran her hands down his back. The bartender walked up with a grunt. His eyes portrayed his unhappiness at their being there.
"Take it else where. My customers don't like coming to the bar when two youngsters are trying to get it up on the very table their drinks sit. Take your harlot elsewhere."
The girl gave a disgusted look then turned to William who simply smiled and shrugged.
"Babe, I love your body but the mans right. You're a harlot and I don't have the time to pay you."
The girl piratically leaped off his lap and stormed off, there wasn't any good goings happening anytime tonight for her.
"Well then," muttered William as he watched her leave the bar's building.

Dasha walked down the streets with a brisk pace. The air was bitter cold and she could feel her skin prickling.
She shook her head as her hair began falling into her face. It was long and tended to get in her way quite often.
She closed her eyes as she walked. The sun was beginning to set and she knew that it would be dark soon. Not that she minded, it only meant that the night life in the bar would be beginning. Which also meant that it would most likely cause some sort of inconvenience for her.
She turned down one of the streets and could see the doorway to the bar ahead of her. She could hear it as well. Many different voices saying many different things.
She came to the doorway quickly and slipped inside. She brought her hands up to her shoulders and carefully pulled her 'hood' down off her head. She shook her hair out which caused her purple locks to drape down over her shoulders. She glanced around at the place. Yep. It was busy.
There weren't many places to sit, but she soon spotted a nice place over towards the far wall. There were a few nicely padded chairs sitting around one table. She quickly moved in for it. She weaved in and out of people standing around and almost got hit more than once. Too many drinks.
She sat down as soon as she got to the chair and let her arms drape over the sides. She stretched her legs out in front of her, giving her heels a rest.

William's gaze got caught as the girl passed him. His jaw dropped from its grimace and once more as he saw her lower body, especially her butt and legs. He was sure he wasn't the only one after this fair maiden but he was dang well roaring to go and swore to himself that he would be first.
"She will give herself to me," he whispered as he stood and walked over casually.
"Bartender, let me buy this fair lass a drink."
He paused to lean over, his face dangerously near hers.
"What can I get you?"

Dasha's eyes shot up immediately at the voice so near to her. She stared at the face for a long moment, taking in his looks.
She was a bit surprised at his sudden response. Not that she hadn't expected to be offered a drink, she just hadn't expected it so soon.
"Um," she began, her mind shifting through any possible options. She hadn't quite planned on having anything at that point, but a free drink was a free drink. "An apple martini. On the rocks." She finally replied to him.
She glanced away behind him for a moment, not quite paying full attention to him.

William nodded to the bartender before easing into the seat ext to her. He rested half of his back against the counter top, his chest still facing her. His dress was formal but the tale-tell signs of after work relaxing marked his cover. His vest was tight but his white undershirt was unbuttoned to where his vest started. The cuff links had been removed and the sleeves pushed up his arm. Aside from that he looked rather normal. A quickly retrieved the silver pocket watch the was nested in his pocket and stole a glance at the time. He decided to waste some time on her.
His right hand went through his hair once more, his elbow holding his head up. A few strands of orange hair fell into his face, the white tips almost disappearing.
"So,.... what is a pretty girl like you doing here?" he asked. Her clothes made him think she was a whore or perhaps a dancer but her attitude had made him think otherwise.

The moisture in the air most have become too much for the clouds for Flint felt a slight bite as a rain drop fell upon his nose.
"Ah,..... so it is going to rain."
He gave a small smile as he walked, lazily letting his boots scuff the ground. His noise masked the shadows that followed him. Lugs of large size inching forward and growing confidence as they went.

Dasha crossed her legs as she leaned back in her seat. Her arms lay crossed slightly over her stomach and slightly laying against her chest. As with anytime she crossed her arms, her bust became exceedingly noticeable atop her short tube top. She didn't even notice anymore.
There was an air of comfortable confidence about her, both in her posture and her expression as she brought her attention back to William.
"Killing time," she responded after a short moment of silence. It was what she was doing, after all. There was nothing better for her to do at home and at least at the bar she could mooch off the men who couldn't take a hint. She didn't seem to care if she led them on or not, it was their own fault for falling for someone like her.

William stared at her for a moment before turning back to the bar.
'Her nice body doesn't make up for her personality at all....'
He looked at her once more and then reconsidered his thought. Her body was gifted and she had a nice curved side. A good place to hold onto. He gave a sigh and waved for another beer. He was a cheap man. He again stole a glance at his pocket watch. It was getting later.
'I'll finish my beer, see how far I get, then take my leave. This chick shouldn't be hard enough to crack.... Why'd I let that one go again? And why am I bent on this one if I couldn't get it up for the other lass.'
He looked over and smiled faintly.
'Oh thats why... she's odd.'
"Waisting time is good. At least you now have a free drink."

A tall figure walked into the bar, his face was shrouded by the room's shadow and smoke. However, the sweet smell of hibiscus petals surrounded him.

"Of course," Dasha replied, a very slight smile gracing her lips.
She was curious as to whether or not this guy would be any different from the others who had attempted to woo her. Somehow, she doubted it, but she would give him a chance anyway. Why, she wasn't quite sure, but she had nothing better to do. So it didn't matter.
A sudden smell caught her attention as someone walked into the bar. She glanced up to see, but there were too many people there. Some of whom were blocking her view. She shrugged it off and returned her attention back to the one sitting in front of her.
"You keep checking your watch," she observed. "Is there somewhere else you're supposed to be?"

William shook his head with a smile.
"No, not if you keep talking to me."
The bartender placed a bottle of open beer in front of William and Dasha's drink in front of her. William placed the money of the counter and took a swig of beer.

The smell got stronger as the figure came closer to the pair. It came up behind William, it's glaze stone cold. The dressing of the figure was very well done. He two was wearing a vest and shirt but his was very different. A creamy blue undershirt rested against his skin as a purple corderoy vest fit snuggly around his well built body. Black hair went down to his jaw, a purple sheen covering the silky strands, green eyes peering out from his shadowed face. His pants were a dark purple and fingerless green glovers covered his hands. It was thous power hands that came up and gripped the back of Williams neck.
"You like to run away don't you?" The figure spoke.
He had a very thick accent, New Zealand, but beneath there was another that poked out. Russian.

Dasha picked up her drink and grabbed hold of the straw. She stirred it once or twice before looking up.
Her eyes fell immediately on the man who stood behind William, a smile coming to her face.
"Aw, we were just getting started. You going to ruin a perfectly good evening?" she said, a bit of amusement slipping into her voice. Her own accent shone through quite obviously in her two sentences. She had done it on purpose.
She didn't know who this guy was or what he wanted, but the fact that he was there amused her. She wasn't sure what he would, but either way that she could think of, it could work out well for her. If he pulled William away, she got a free drink and some amusement. If he let him be, at least he brought in a bit of amusement to her night.

The man's eyes flashed over to Dasha where he gazed at her for a moment, looking her over.
"I can see why you find her attractive. Plan to add her to your collection William?" he asked as he pulled William back from the counter.
"Get off me before I kill you, you stupid flamer!"
Hurt came to the man's face as he spoke.
"Didn't father tell you to leave thous words in Germany? This fine lady probably hates your skin already."
He leaned forward and sniffed him.
"You reek. Do you know that? Like something died. Ugh... and of something else. You've been dallying haven't you? Don't you work? Maybe then you could actually afford your drinks."
William thrashed a bit, loosening the man's grip.
"Go find a guy and have some fun will you? I'm busy."
It was then that the man laughed for the first time and his true age came out. He was a young lad, full of youth.
"Ah ha ha, William. You are a jester. You know this woman wouldn't go near you nor you little friend. Get off your bum and get home. Father is probably expecting you."
"F*** off Xavier!,"
yelled William as he flung his arm around, knocking the man's grip away and aiming for his face.
The man caught his arm and twisted it backwards and against his back. He smiled and gave a nod to Dasha.
"Sorry for my brother. He's a little annoying," he apologized as William squirmed in his grip.
