As Tanis began to get closer to the group, he felt a strange tingling at the back of his neck.
He then looked over at the nearest creature (shadow) and extended his hand saying, "My name is tanis, what is yours?"

at the appearance of the newcomer, Attimasc released his hold on his form, splashing back into a pool, "Oh no, not again..." Attimasc groaned, forming a bowl of petunias out of water

Kaminari swallowed her fear and asked from the darkness, "Who are you?" she was tempted to say dragon, but that would be a little bit giving it away of what she was, and she didn't want that, not at all.

Shadow smiled, making sure her teeth were just visible enough. Her eyes flashed but she extended a hand to Tanis. The tension coming from Kaminari, obviously because of this new person, amused Shadow. But she simply kept her mouth shut; a little shadow does not go against a powerful demon.
"I am Shadow. Pleased to meet you, Tanis. What brings you to this little town of Magnolia? Worse times other places? Well, I'm afraid that you will find no rest here. Reapers lurking in every corner...non-humans selling out their friends and family simply to keep their own lives. Dark times have decended down upon the entire earth, I'm afraid. But there are quite a few good friends here, human and non-human alike, who will see that you are given a normal life. Well, as close as we can get to normal."
Turning towards Attimasc, Shadow raised one eyebrow. Rolling her eyes, she plopped down on the ground next to the pool, the bottom of her form becoming one with the shadows on the ground, and watched with a grin as one of the petunias faded away at her touch.

Kaminari sat down suddenly, crossing her arms. "He's probably is a Reaper, just to my luck." She hissed, toying with her watch carefully.

Shadow's pointed ear twitched; she heard what Kaminari said. Smiling to herself, she touched another petunia and stared at it as it fizzled away, the water becoming limp and 'dead'. Like all things Shadow touches...Shadow allowed her eyes to flash to Kaminari's. She locked her eyes with hers and waited for her to make her move.
Oh so very adult-like, as most demons are. And yet...childish. She is both...but I suppose that is what a demon is. An ageless being that is both young and old at the same time. Ah, how I wish to be that old...to have seen what she has seen. But that is not for me. No, I am destined to be a shadow...maybe one day I'll do something worthwhile.

Dylan smiled. She liked Shadow in a twisted way. Her grin faltered. She was clearly outnumbered. She wasn't going to try anything tonight. But her smile grew again at the amount of money all these creatures lifless bodie's would bring in....

Tanis heard Kalimari's accusation against him and went into a frenzy, saying "I am no such thing, the reapers took away everything that I had, they killed everyone I cared for, and they have forced me to live hidden, never showing my true form for fear that i would be killed." He began to calm down and said, "because of them i have to eat human food, live like a human, and i haven't even been able to go hunting in almost 3 months. Do not accuse me of being a reaper."

"Hn. I guess the reapers are slightly able to do SOMETHING! Dragons hunting? NO! It's just another masscre ready to happen!" She snapped back, her hands tight around her sliver watch.

"Hey, stop that," exlcaimed Attimasc, turning the flowers into a water pistol, and squirting Shadow. He then formed a figure of Tanis, and pantomimed him, "trust a dragon to be a hothead. It doesn't take a telepath to find that out, just being near you even humans can tell. Say, Lizardbreath, your aura is vaguely familiar, who were your, oh, Great-great grandparents?"

Tanis looked at Attimasc, then back at Kaminari. Taking a breath, he said, "sorry, i didn't mean to snap like that, i have some anger issues."
He then looked back at Attimasc and said, "first off, don't call me Lizardbreath, second off, i don't know who my great-great grandparents are, i never even met my grandparents, much less my great-great grandparents."

Attimasc snorted, an impressove task for a creature with no nose, "what dragon doesn't?" he said under his breath," then, louder, "Alright then, I won't, I was just asking because I think I met one of your kin once, nearly burned down the whole freakin forest when he lost." he cheered up, "But im sure that will have no reflection upon you,"

"Shut it dragon." Kaminari warned, standing, and crossing her arms. "You fail at acting human. And the fact that you walked right up to us? One of us could be a reaper, stupid." She hissed, but under her breath she mumbled, "and i think i know who."

"One of us? A Reaper? Thats just foolish." Dylan said. "I don't think that they would have admitted to us what they really are if that were the case. However, I haven't been in town long enough to learn these sort of things."
