His eyes looked down at the charred and ruined village. "Not even a challange." Zenn's feet slowly touched down on the top of a destroyed building. His dark black angel wings stretched out slightly as he looked up at the sky. "Syndicate... do you really even stand a chance." A slight smirk crossed his lips as he thought about the prospect of fighting somebody worthy. Somebody who could stand up to him. Gyel was the only one that he knew at the moment, but fighting him would be pointless. Looking back at the village he jumped from the roof and glided down to the ground. There were still people alive in the village despite everything being destroyed. "Like little lambs to the slaughter, it's time to end your pain, come on out and play with me. I don't bite, too much at least."
Walking through the village he came across one yard which wasn't burned as badly as the rest. "Heh, so you think hiding will save you?!" Slowly his hand reached back taking hold of his swords hilt. His sword was horizontal, and attached to his lower back making it easy to carry. Slowly, but gracefully his hand pulled the sword out of it's sheath. The blade was entirely black which matched him perfectly. Holding it to his side he walked forward and with one diagonal slash, his sword moved through stone and wood causing the wall of the remaining house to crumble to the ground. Hiding inside was a father and a son who quivered in fear. "Seems like you're the last two."
The father hid his son behind him obviously wanting to protect him. "Heh, how noble of you. Wanting to protect your boy like that." His sword flicked with black flame as it engulfed the blade. With a quick kick to the father he tumbled out of the way. Another smirk crossed his lips as without remorse he stabbed forward. His sword peirced the boys chest. It didn't seem to kill the boy right away. The flames quickly moved through the body causing his flesh to burn. Once the fleshed entirely burnt off, nothing was left but a flaming skeleton. Pulling his sword out he chuckled a bit as his eyes turned to the father who had seen the whole thing. "I guess you've seen enough." Without waiting for a response he slashed the human across the neck. The man's head fell to the ground and in an instant he was dead.
"So weak. Heh, nothing stands in his way. Syndicate scum. This will hopefully let them find me, it's only a matter of time until they find out."
((Well, this is my first post with him. Hopefully I'll get the hang of rping with him. By the way, Zenn is in Germany. Just causing trouble like he's supposed to. Hehe)

As the swing came around it came to a sudden stop as it struck something. With a hard clack the force of the swing went from her sword, down the blade, into the hilt, and then to her hands which started to shake. Haruna slowly raised her eyes to see what was some strange creature made entirely of ice, her blade firmly in it's lower chest, around where the ribcage ended and the kidney would be. Haruna glared and quickly pulled the blade towards her body, as it cut through more of the ice man and came free. As she readied her blade for a strike, the iceman vanished leaving Haruna very confused as to what the hell had attacked her. Hitagiro vanished from her grasp and she sighed a little as her hands closed into fists as the hilt she was holding was gone. Looking around, most of her stuff seemed to be covered in a thin ice, probably because of that creature, figured she was lunch maybe?
Not trying to dwell on what happened she started to break the ice and free her stuff so she could get out of their before it came back. After 10 minutes of fierce ice breaking, her hand wraps torn and ripped, she started to replace her stuff in her backpack. Damn thing had rummaged through it, another thing to affirm her belief that it thought she was food, or had food. "What the hell could something made of ice eat besides, snow!" Haruna shouted in anger as she placed her map back into her pack and looked around to see that the sun was setting and it was getting dark. "Now, if I don't get interrupted again, I believe west should be this way, if I continue from anywhere I'm bound to hit Germany as it is west from Japan. Throwing her pack onto her shoulder she started to walk in the direction of west. This time however, she was ready, she took out of her pack a small short katana blade, probably 2 feet long and tied it around her hip, having it's sheath on her left side.
She didn't like having weapons on her, mostly from people's reactions and complaints. Haruna actually laughed a little as she recalled one time she had to outrun police, or some kind of soldiers who were upset about her weapons. For the type of person she was now, her laugh was quite soft, almost sweet, but aside from the emotion behind it, all it was, was an emptly laugh by someone, who wasn't alive. As Haruna got her pace marked, she started to run, she wanted out of this horrid place, her goal was Germany, and that's where she was going to get no matter what!

Kiami flushed at Amico’s comment. “I don’t think of him like that!” She stomped her foot like a little girl. She had gotten into the elevator with Lucid and Gotten off on the main level. She made her way out to the fountain and gazed at the water. The water drew her focus in, and she just stared at the falling water.
The announcement lucid made pulled her attention away from the waters trance and she sat down. On her fingers she counted out what she would probably need for the mission, a canteen the first item on her list. Moisture in the air or not, having an extra bottle of water on hand would never hurt. Her list continued on with a general first aid kit and more. She looked up and waited for the others to join her.

A man suddenly appeared in the box office from beneath view. It was a lanky man who looked very bookish, he was fixing his large round glasses back on his face.
"Sorry, sorry, these things fall off sometimes," The man chuckled, now cleaning his glasses with his shirt. Taro looked at him, his start beating quicker from the surprise. His Z Gene was kicking in and he could suddenly feel the pulse of things. Taro took a few deep breaths and his heart began to slow. The sudden rush made him light-headed and he had to lean against the ledge.
"Is something wrong, master?" The man asked Taro who shook his head.
"No. I heard there was a mission for me."
"Oh, yes, of course!" The man reached underneath the desk and pulled out a brown folder which he then slid to Taro under the glass. There was a sticky note with Taro's name on it attached to the folder. He opened the folder and began to read it there which was unnecessary because the man behind the counter explained everything to him.
"Apparently, there have been some activities in Germany. Pretty strange stuff. A whole demon destroyed a whole village by himself. Sources said he was taunting the Syndicate-"
"And we're going to take the trap?" Taro asked as he looked at a picture of the young man. It was drawn, not taken with a camera, and there was a little note in the corner of the picture that said rough estimate.
"I suppose we have to. Anyways, the demon is extremely dangerous, that's why the Syndicate is sending you. All of the other A ranks are busy at the moment. The girl Tori is on another similiar mission, and to Germany of all places as well."
"I see. Dead or alive?" Taro asked.
"Hm? Oh, it's in the folder somewhere." Taro flipped through a few pages and saw at the bottom of the last one there was an official stamp that read, "Captured or Killed".
"A man who chases two hares will not even catch one," Taro sighed. He always had a problem when it said captured or killed, he felt it wasn't specific one.
"I guess that mean's either? Usually that means kill it but if you have a chance to capture instead then-"
"I know what it means," Taro said, closing the folder and turning around to leave.
"Don't get killed now," The man in the office called.
***
Almost half a day later and Taro was in a small German airport, stepping out of a bush plane. He had taken a jet from the base to Germany where a local flight took him here. There was no need to be checked at the airport so he just went on his way.
Taro was walking down a remote path in the woods to the village. His hair was tied in a neat bun as usual which meant the rest of his hair looked sleek back. He wasn't wearing practice clothing today. Instead, he wore a tight yellow sweater with red vine designs. His arms and shoulders were armoured with steel pads and as usual the gloves were ended in steel claws. A cigarette was hanging loosely in his mouth and his okatana was sheathed at his waist.
As he neared the village, ominous signs began to appear. A raven which was perched on a branch of a coniferous tree began to squak. Taro only barely looked at the vulture of death when he put it behind him.
"I see," He thought. This meant that he was nearby. When the path finally ended, the forest did too, and Taro found himself on a large clearing on a hillock. Beneath him in a basin there were scorched remains of what used to be a village. Charred wood and brick were scatted, skeletons of what used to be houses were almost rubble by now. The scene was no longer fresh even though the Syndicate tried to contain it most bodies had been carried away, the village looted by thieves, and fires burnt out but it had been preserved as best as possible.

Lucid made his way back to the square and once there spotted Kiami. He smiled a bit and waved slightly. "Hello again Kiami. Can I sit?" Using the same tactic that she had used before he sat down next to her without waiting for a response. "So, finally another mission for me, it's been a while for me. Though, this one is gonna be tough, even for me. Though, I'll leave most of the fighting to you hunters. That's how it's supposed to go at least. I just need to make sure things are safe enough."
~~~~
Zenn was sitting in a tree nearby the burnt and destroyed village. His wings were no longer showing as he had his back resting against the trunk. He was making sure to stay closeby so that, when a syndicate member were to come, he could easily fight them. This was easier, just sitting and waiting for the enemy to show up. Dispite being cruel and uncaring, he still enjoyed a good fight. It was all he wished for, Gyel had promised him he would be able to fight challanging opponents. He sighed a bit and glanced back toward the village.
"Hmm... I wonder, have the good guys come to save the day." He chuckled a bit as he rose to his feet and jumped from the tree. Landing gently on the ground he walked back to the village. His footsteps were quiet and almost nonexistant as he walked into the destroyed village which was basically a ghostown now. Slowly he came to a stop and at the otherside of the village he could see the man with a tight yellow sweater in the distance. "I see, finally, the enemy appears."
"Don't worry Lucid," She grinned at him and straightened up in her seat, puffing out her chest and raising her chin. "I'll protect you" She laughed and relaxed again. “Lots of people coming on this mission, they must think things are really bad out there to be sending so many.” She shrugged then kicked her legs. There was really nothing she could do until they got there. She reached back and dipped her hand in the fountains water, letting the water run up her arm all the way to her elbow. “Think they’re really all dead?” she said with concern.
Taro looked around the burnt village, possibly for clues. Off the street path there was a crumbled house, most of it burned to cinders by now. He stuck his foot underneath a charred piece of wood among a pile of some sort or rubble and with very little effort he flipped it over. Beneath there was a big pile of nothing. Taro frowned, coughing a little bit because the lingering smell of smoke still bothered him.
Taro felt odd for a second and the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. He turned around slowly and saw a young man walking to the village from the forest. The closer the man came the more he began to take on the shape of the person he was supposed to be watching. That wouldn't make much sense though. Why would the arsonist/murdered be here waiting for him? Unless it was like the man back at the base said, the man had did all of this just to lure Syndicate members there to fight.
As the man approached, Taro took another drag from the cigarrete, sending more smoke into the air around him. How suitable.
"Well, I don't need to worry then if you're gonna protect me. I'll be in good hands." He chuckled slightly as he let out a slight yawn. "Seems so, from what I've read, it's not a safe place. I think this is the right thing to do, we need to stop whatever it is that is behind this." Lucid sighed a bit and scratched his head slightly. "I always hope for the best, but right now, I think they're dead, it's not a good thing to dwell too much on it. What we do is dangerous, and there is always a high chance that someone will die. Missing in our line of work usually means the worst."
~~~~
Zenn slowly came to a stop near the man and he smirked slightly. His eyes were looking over the man that was most likely from the Syndicate. "I hope you liked the welcome, by now you've probably figured out that this isn't a trap. If you really are a strong syndicate member, then it should be a enjoyable battle. Maybe if you survive long enough I'll tell you about why I caused such destruction, for now, I'll tell you my name and what I am. My name is Zenn Noble, and I'm what you would call a fallen angel."

“Yeah, that’s true. I haven’t had anyone really die on me yet, except the targets.” She shrugged and let the water fall from her arm. “You be careful even with me watching out for you ok Lucid?” Her smile returned and she looked up at the sky. “I gotta pack after this, any suggestion on things I should bring? I mean other then water of course.” She giggled but kept her focus on the sky.

"So this was your doing? I find it hard to believe a single man could have done all of this by himself," Taro replied. His eyes squinted as he focused even further on the man. He was younger than he thought he would be. This man surely had some powers, perhaps even a Z Gene. Yes, that had to be it. A young man couldn't have caused such destruction unless he had some super-human properties. Other than being dillusional. He smiled when the man mentioned he was a fallen angel. Taro didn't believe in angels so there was no way this man could be what he claimed he was, especially a fallen one.
"No, you're not an angel, you're just really confused. Shall we?" Taro asked the rhetoric, not to mention inevitable, question as he unsheathed his sword with a flick of the thumb. It popped out barely but then he took it out completely with his right. He held in front of himself with both hands, utilizing an aggressive stance.
"This is what you wanted?"

For a few days of running in a straight line, Haruna had been pretty lucky, that thing which attacked her, didn't seem to be following, and she found a road, which she was now following. Making use of the road signs, she was heading for a place that apparently was called Moscow. The other words made no sense to her, but then she didn't understand Russian. Looking at her map as she walked, Moscow seemed to lead towards Germany, after she found this Moscow she'd head West/South West. That wouldn't be too difficult. "Once I find this Moscow place, I will figure out the best way to get to Germany!" Haruna jumped with excitement and due to the snow and ice, upon landing she slipped and hit the road hard with a crack. "Stupid ice, why can't you leave me the ******** alone!" Shaking her head a little and getting up her anger started to build. Before Haruna exploded however she remembered that ice man from a few days ago and quickly drew her small katana and started slashing at the air around her. "It's him, I know it is! Show yourself!"
Haruna was currently bordering mentally insane, that was at least what the people in the passing vehicle thought. They didn't stop and actually picked up the pace and in her fear/anger she never noticed it. It wasn't long after she was back on the move again, down the road towards Moscow when she saw flashing blue and red lights in the distance. She had absolutely no clue what the hell it was and thinking it some kind of beast drew her sword as the sirens grew louder to where she could hear them. The events which followed could only be something out of a horror film, needless to say, it ended with her being shot twice and taken into custody by Russian Police. As reports from this piled back down the chain, they were certain to catch the interest of some.
The report read as "Oriental female, wearing some form of old clothing, attacked police with weapon, determined mental case, took two shots but shows no signs of injury, shots were confirmed hits." That was about all that was obtained from the officers report as the car headed for the nearest town where the woman would be transferred to a mental institute in Moscow. No further messages came, the car was later found in a ditch about a few miles from the Russian city of Kurgan, one officer had no head, the other a sword through the back of the car seat and out through his chest. The inside was covered in blood and a report for a dangerous homicidal was put on the news.
Haruna didn't feel much about what she had done to the two men, they had tried to take her somewhere she did not want to go, they didn't listen so she had to kill them, right? She had killed people before, never really thought about it much, but in this case something was different. Covered in blood, stranded once again in the Russian tundra near the Country of Kazakhstan. Using the Russian city as her starting point, she corrected her path and made a b line towards Germany. Between where she was currently, and Poland, the Country between Russia and Germany, she would have other reports filed. Dodging police, killing some more people, and causing a lot of ruckus caused a lot of rumors to go around. A lot of people were afraid some crazed killer was traveling across the Country, attacking anything that got in it's way.
Haruna wasn't sure how she made it to the Ukraine but she carefully made her way across the border, which was on high alert, Haruna took shelter in an abandon farmhouse to plan her next movement, she wasn't sure exactly how long she'd been traveling, week, maybe two, she never kept track of time, which often caused her problems. Her clothes had dried blood stains on them, were rather ripped, torn, and messed, but she was still 'alive'. The reports on her did catch her attention, that was the reason she didn't go to Moscow as she planned, it took longer, but from where she now placed herself she was near Germany. "So close, maybe now I can find answers." Haruna suddenly went quiet as she heard some noise outside, drawing a small knife she quickly took cover and waited. Two heavily armed guards came in, searching likely places a murderur would hide.
Haruna glared as she quietly took up position and as the guards started to talk, turned their backs, she struck like a cobra, one guard took the knife in the back of the neck, piercing just near the spine, through the carotid artery spraying blood onto the other soldier, as well as the straw covered ground, as she pulled the blade out the other guard opened fire, sending bullets all over the place, a couple struck Haruna, they didn't do anything and she quickly lunged at the other guard, an almost sinister glow in her eyes as she impaled the knife into the gut and began to disembowl the guard. It took about two minutes for her to finish, the barn was a complete mess, and so was she. Without even thinking she started to laugh with delight, she actually felt quite alive, perhaps killing was the thing she was looking for.
After a few moments she stopped, dropped the blood stained knife and slowly backed away from the horrific sight she created. "No, what... did I do! No!" Haruna shook her head and ran off, leading the knife, two dead guards, and a lot of unanswered questions behind.

Tori felt her jaw tense, her temple throb, her hands clench yet again, and she sighed, removing the weapon from Alexander's throat. "Stay out of my way." She muttered as she returned to the elevator, WITHOUT him, and made her way down to the fountain. Alexander wasn't even worth her anger. She admired his power, but the bold way he tried touching her was just unnerving. As usual, she ignored the stares she received after she had exited the elevator, and made her way into the fountain area, a few flowers crushed beneath her heels, wilting because of her presence.
She sat down on the same bench she had been on before, which just happened to be right beside the fountain near Lucid and Kiami. She was really getting curious as to what this mission would be about, and why they needed so many members. Considering they had chosen such powerful members, she assumed it would be dangerous. Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest, waiting for Amico to show up so they could get started.

Alexander laughed a little to himself. He liked her spirit. No one ever fought back to him. He could feel this would be a fun mission. He was told about it ealier that day. He waited a while to give Tori some space, but eventually he had to go to the same place. He went back up the elevator and sat down on the fountain just a few feet away from tori. He turned towards her politely and said "I'm very sorry that I offended you. I was just trying to be friendly." He stated with a smirk emerging from the edge of his lips. "I didn't know that you were so touchy about people touching you." he said as politely as posible even though it was a bit rude. "Can I please have the chance to start over?" He said kindly.

Draqx walked to the meeting place, and decided to hang back and ask questions after everyone else had a chance at asking thiers, in the meantime he would be setting up details for an equipment drop to set up one of the modular field bases, one of the ones with moth medical and mechanical services, based off of many space efficency advancements pioneered in small ships and RVs. That way in case it was a multi day mission there would be a secure location to sleep.
What surprised Draqx was the rapid manner in which the requests were green lighted, obiously someone wanted results and were not sparing the costs, that meant that Draqx could splurge on his requests a bit, and prepare for every contingency he could think of, and enough spare equipment for stuff he could not think of. If things were going to go south, Draqx planned on having enough stuff around to make sure that whatever caused it to go south would be coming with.

The sun was getting rather hot, at least for her. They were starting to get a lot of people here. This was really a big mission. She smiled at Tori when she walked by. She would be able to learn a lot from watching Tori on this mission as well. She just hopped they would live so she could put everything she learned to good use.
Kiami looked up at Alex and got to her feet. “Are you bugging Tori?” She crossed her arms. “Tori’s a good girl and doesn’t need people being mean to her.” She sounded very childish as she spoke but she was trying to look pretty tough though. She didn’t really know Alex, and she wasn’t going to hate him just because of a little conflict between him and Tori, but she wasn’t going to let him just bother Tori either. She looked over at Tori, she was a little nervous around Tori but only because she felt so distant, not because of her z gene or how cold it was around her. In fact the cold around Tori made her stomach stop turning when it was too warm. Her eyes returned to Alex waiting for an answer.
