SoulLess316 Mendokusai `He could not see, as the Third Eye did not offer sight, but he could diffidently tell that heat was building up, his this was diffidently a pain, the second fire element today, he hated the heat. His hand shook a little bit, opening, a thin green membrane skin linked his fingers together, webbing, but it was too small and concentrated near the tips of his fingers and base to have any use. This was when he finally got energy to create a large cracking noise, the staff would -seemingly- fly from nowhere. Its origins unable to be traced, as it left no mark. As the staff flew from afar, twords him, his hand would return from normal. Pale white skin covering the thick membrane that was there before, his staff getting closer every moment. At the time that the enemies eyes would focus, suffocatingly on his, his pupils would shrink. It was that moment, that they shared a mind, that Salem would set loose. In the sudden blight, the drugs would kick in, Smoke that was previously clouding the air, would cloud Salem's mind. Concentration was lost, thought was lost, time was lost, and Salem would probably begin to get dizzy, or light headed. He could see everything in the others mind, from find to foe, past present and future, and the flame, the spark that kept him going, tainted with the blood of his allies. It was in that second, as if in slow motion, the staff would come sliding into his hand, the symbol for metal glowed and two 1.5 feet long blades, like little scythes, would bust out of the wood, at the tip, facing opposite each other. His pupils enlarged, no longer focused on this man, and as this man was unable to concentrate, hardly able to give thought, he would smile. His staff raising to defense.` I think this counts as forcing you to. ‼¢Salem blinked a few times; his brown eyes with the weird darker-brown spots placed at random locations on his eyes, closing and opening a few swift times. Dizzieness set in, but he wasn't too concerned. He had complete control over his mind, and as such, the vision would be dimmed to a pretty large extent, but the same would be true for Salem. Although he was used to feeling light-headed and other such things. The heat dimished from his hands, but his focus on Banpai was not lost.¢‼"Weapon."‼¢He stated flatly, seeing the scythe in the other guy's hands. He didn't even need to ask though, someone else in the audience, wanting the fight to be fair (and possibly gambling on Salem - who knows?), quickly brought out a pair of sturdy meat cleavers from the kitchen. And hurried even faster when he saw that the stick pointing in Banpai's direction had double blades. And so it would be that the man would quickly call out, as the cook hurried out and screamed at the thief, which got a bit of the crowd's attention. The supposed thief called out.¢‼"Salem!!!"‼¢Salem quickly turned as the two cleavers were hurled toward him by an ambidextrous man, and he dextrily pivoted and spun on his right heel, catching the cleavers by the handles; although he did fall back a bit in case he didn't catch them. Apparently he wasn't a god at catching weapons. He did have to reposition them slightly so they felt more comfortable.
Atsui spun and twisted the bloodied meat cleavers for a moment in a display of dexterity for the audience. The audience 'ooh'-ed and 'ah'-ed. Salem spoke quickly, with a slight British accent this time around.¢‼"Not my main choice of weapon, but it'll have to do. Thank you."‼¢The thank you, obviously, was directed toward the ambidextrous man, who nodded (and proceeded to cheer); although Salem did not look back at him.¢‼"And we'll see about that."‼¢He stated toward Banpai.¢‼((Fun, no? ;P Lol. X) ))

Analysis, Vision, Movement, Positioning....
I will tear your soul apart.
`His staff of summoning, as The other man would "Know" to call it, from them meeting eyes. The man would also start to recall visions, visions from Banpaia, but that he had not of seen during the initial gaze. Banpai would raise the staff and two, three, four, more blades would come from it, and then, they would move up and down, all independently of each other, rotating to where they are connected to the staff. Down, the blades would touch the staff, and even push into it lightly, up, they would all be independent scythes of various lengths, from 6 inches to two feet ((Only the three main ones at the top where two feet.)). The vision Salem would experience now, was of a woman, beautiful, long black hair, tattered brown clothes. Obviously a peasant, Salem would recognize her as a mother, at least until she was tortured by other townsfolk, and eventually burnt alive, tied to a stake. This vision, although non-discrete, as was the nature of the third eye, would become ever pressing in Salems mind, making it harder for him to focus as the staffs blades all retracted to the "down" position, and Banpaia would hold it like a spear, shoving the tip in Salems Direction. Blood-thirsty for defiance.`
Give up, or your soul is mine.

Blood-thirsty for defiance.` Give up, or your soul is mine. ‼¢Salem's eyes dulled as he focused and felt bad for the woman in the image he was shown. He screamed in his mind, as though trying to scream in the image, and the more he couldn't actually hear his scream, the louder his real life scream got - it started out as a small voice, but actually got louder. It was nearly as though he were dreaming and talking in his sleep. Although he could still see Banpai in his vision - his eyes weren't closed, and he wasn't in REM sleep.
In the thought Salem ran forward and threw his weapon at the nearest person. He did this for real, too, stepping forward greatly and then throwing the meat cleaver in his right hand in a spin at Banpai's chest, which would probably be hard to block with the blade he wielded (to an extent), due to the length. Although it wouldn't be too hard, obviously. Salem then quickly ran forward, his focus coming back and concentrating on Banpai's movements - mainly feet.
The audience wanted to know what'd just happened that caused Salem to react in such a way.¢‼

`It was actually pretty easy to dodge, after all, the length of his staff gave him a pretty clean advantage, and the meat cleaver wasnt exactly the next best thing to a shriken. The blade whooshed past him, as he slid to a closed stance, with his chest not open and his shoulder to the enemy, his whole body taking a slide back to the right, away from the cleaver, which would go off and out of the arena, possibly into the audience. His staff would raise again, defensively, once sure that the man was in his control. Salems next vision would be of the woman, burnt badly, but saved from the crowd, dead, but still looking pretty good. She was laying across a table, in a shack, hidden in the forest. Salem would be unable to move, now seeing himself in the vision, holding the meat cleaver over the dead body, and unable to control himself as his arms lowered, offering a slow, clean slice to the naked womans stomach, and making a standard autopsy "Y" incision. To the audience, Salem would appear to just stand there. As it was almost impossible for Salem to defy his new, dream-vision movements.`

Thankfully no one was injured. A few screamed at Salem, wondering what the hell he thought he was doing.
Years of meditation (monk) wouldn't be for nothing. He already figured out who the woman was - whether it was Banpai's mother or not mattered not to him. And he had more control than the average person (again, looked like an average person). He had control over his dreams, and he definitely had control over his own person. As they say, knowledge and logic is power. Deductions are too.
He ran straight at Banpai while while refusing to make the cut in the dream, choosing, instead, to look up and around, proceeding to run around the table and then forward.
In his reality though, Salem was currently running toward Banpai, and as soon as he got close enough, he'd slide by on Banpai's right, preparing to block an attack from above with the meat cleaver in his left hand, as he did so, just in case Banpai tried to attack during Atsui's slide.¢‼

Clear your mind, my young. `He would vanish, body-flicker, to the other side of the arena.` Or else you'll miss the next part of the movie. `He chuckled, this was easy now that he had his staff. He looked at the back of the man who seemed skilled in the art of the mind. It was interesting how under this paralysis, the man could still control his body, infact, for a mere monk, it was almost a miracle. Simply put, Salem was drugged, his mind would be slow and unclear, thought hard.. Salem was receiving visions... and Salem was in a form of paralysis that would leave most men up to the bidding of him, Salem moved as to his own will, and He was shocked. The next part of the dramatic flik' was, once Salem had moved, a young man would take his place, long hair, watching. And the woman would rise again, with a rabid soul to be let loose. In the vision, the corpse would hurtle itself across the room and latch unto Salems back, legs around his belly, arm around his neck, other arm struggling to reach a knife that was lodged into her leg. In real life, this could make a interesting show, as Banpaia prepared for the worst. He would take a ring off of his finger, and hold it up, beginning to focus energy in it, but still holding his staff ready to make a simple block.`

He sat down cross-legged, setting down the cleaver as he put his hands on his knees and took a deep breath. Both in the dream and in reality. This was becoming troublesome. So far the woman hadn't tried to hurt him - and either way it probably wouldn't be real (so he'd probably know it by this point and not be affected much, if at all) - so he focused hard on filling his body with a healing heat.
It was quite hot - but it was concentrated mostly around his chest and head, but also went around to other body parts so as to make sure equal treatment was recieved. His face was neutral and people were wondering what the man was doing (although a few had seen it before). Atsui's eyes were closed gently, and he actually sweated a bit - almost as though he'd been in a sauna for an hour (and still had much liquid to spare). He always did sweat a lot.¢‼

Your just a simple monk, you never stood a chance. `He smiled as he saw this, and looked down at the ring, silver, with a kanji on it The Kanji would mean "Soulless" or "Without Soul".` Shiriul Mangus Incarnus `He would smile even more as a soul would escape from the ring, all could see it. Even for a shade, the spirit was quite visible. Shades where just mindless incarnations that spawn from mal-intent, normally just attaching themselves to furniture or walls, ceilings, making faces of suffering that was caused by that intent. These shades, now two of them, spawning from the ring, would immediately latch unto Salem. They spread cold, absorbing Salem's energy. Their shapeless forms, spiritual presences would also make it harder for Salem to move his muscles. The Shades would scream in unicen, anyone with any spiritual insight at all would be able to hear the shriek, at least anyone who wasnt on the other side of any running water as him, the shriek would be loud to those who heard it, like someone screaming directly in their ears. He would smile as he set the ring in his pocket and approached Salem, the long, spear-like staff would be quickly pushed up against Salem's stomach, while Banpaia remained an almost safe distance away.`

Tasuki gave a slight nod as Clark turned to leave. He seems a bit distracted. Tasuki was beginning to wonder if Clark had what it took to be a Captain. He didn't spend to much time thinking about it. He figured if something did happen. There was Link and probably himself or others that could pick up the pace if needed. He walked past Link and up the ramp to the ship. 'I'll be checking the deck out and start heating things up.' He spoke down to Link as he boarded the ship. He took a look around from his position. He liked the layout so far. He turned to see if Link was following but noticed he was heading away from the ship. He was slightly curious what he might have been up to, but he was more interested about the ship. Tasuki continued his way along the top deck and came along steps that lead under. He decided to see what else there was.

Link smiled at Andrew's comment, but the truth was..he wouldn't go back to him. He was an idiot for throwing Link aside, and he knew now what the Captain thought of him. He nodded along with Tasuki as Andrew left. Link turned his hands, in his pockets as he tried to look for the girl he had seen earlier. He glanced up as Tasuki yelled down to him. He didn't respond seeing there wasn't any response needed. He just walked ahead toward the barrels he had seen her by earlier. Where did that girl go? He was curious as to why the girl had been cloaked. It was the cold season, but it didn't seem like it would offer much of a resistance to the harsh cold. 'There you are.' He smirked at the women. She had been hidden by a corner of a building that she had been standing by. He noticed she was starring at the barrels. 'Heh..you could porbably fit.' He leaned against one of the barrels with his right elbow and lifted up the lid, holding it with his right hand.

She jumped slightly as a sudden voice pulled her out of her train of thought. She looked up slowly, still keeping the cloak as close as she could, to shield her face. She was being paranoid, but she thought it best. She glanced down at the barrel and felt her heart start to hammer away in her chest.
What if he is part of the crew, and he's here to take me in.. I can't go to jail!
She laughed like it was the funniest thing she had every heard, trying to cover up her nervousness.
"Me? Climb into a barrel? What and Idea!"
She bit her lip and turned quickly.
I need to get away from him..
She glanced at her options and started walking towards a crowd that was gathering in front of a merchant.

Link found it humorous as she laughed oddly. She was obviously nervous. He tried not to laugh, but a large smile came to his face. He placed the lid back onto the barrel and walked next to the women his hands behind his head as if he was relaxing while walking beside her. 'Why not? He snicked glancing down at her. 'You don't think it would be interesting sneaking aboard a ship like that?' I probably shouldn't tease her, but she seems cute. He made hand motions as he talked about the sneaking aboard and then pointed back at the ship behind them as he walked beside her. 'Heh.' He could tell she was still nervous and so wanted to make a normal conversation before he chased her away. 'What is with the cloak?' He looked at her curiously.

She raised an eyebrow as the man walked next her, he had a relaxed way. After he had talked she realized that he probably wasn't trying to take her to jail. But, That didn't mean she could trust him. She was a women, and not very strong considering her size, she had to be careful around men.
I guess I could have a little fun..
The cloak cast a shadow across her face making her only seen feature her mouth. She stopped and grinned widley. She moved closer slightly until she was right next to him. She whispered eerily in his ear.
"I'm afraid that telling you that or anything else, could endanger your life. Actually as we speak, they watch."
She was laughing on the inside.
I wonder if he will buy it.

He found it a little eerie that he could only make out the woman's mouth. He smiled back at her as he saw her large grin. He leaned forward a little as she spoke seeing she was trying to be quiet. His eyes widened as he listened to her reasoning. This chick is crazy.. He tried to keep a calm exterior, but felt like laughing. Either she was extremely paranoid person..or something really was up. He gathered his thoughts for a moment, and decided just in case there was something odd going on he couldn't leave a women like this on her own. 'Who is after you?' He asked in a hushed tone. It was odd, but he was now feelig paranoid. If there was someone following her..then they would probably be around. But who was it?

She felt her mouth start to twitch slightly, but managed not to laugh.
Does this guy really think I'm serious?
She looked around quickly like she was worried. She moved closer.
Maybe this is my way to get out of here..
She grabbed onto his sleeve lightly and looked to the side. Her whisper became desperate as she spoke to him.
"I can't say. I need to find a way away from here, somewhere far away."
She felt the laughter build up and she dug her fingernails into her palm to keep from bursting.
I am one good actress.
She glanced at the dock, hoping that he really was part of the crew and that he would invite her onto the boat.
