"That's not funny," said Carlisle, but he grinned, clearly accepting the joke with good humor. Or the best he could, anyway. It kind of bothered him. "Yeah, right," he agreed, "Who cares?"
As for the halo, he shrugged. "I don't see it when I look in the mirror." Or any other time. In fact, he'd only ever noticed a reddish glow when it was dark, or anything. "At least you got useful stuff," continued Carlisle, envious of the wings at the very least. What good was a halo, compared to wings?
"No," yelped Carlisle to Joshua. "You can't eat crayons. You'll get sick. And they don't taste good anyway."

Nataya smiled, nodding as she listened to Joshua. "Mommas usually make the best hot chocolate." she said, agreeing with him. "And yes, I like color...though, I don't think the crayons taste very good. I wouldn't try eating them if I were you." She giggled at the thought of eating crayons, finding it funny...probably because she'd tried the same thing when she was little. Just because it was red like an apple didn't mean it tasted like an apple.
Zemel frowned adorably; seeming to be mad at the hot chocolate. How could something so yummy and good go and hurt him like that? "Bad." he said, giving the styrofoam cup a good, hard stare. He took a small drink, careful not to get burned this time around.
Ginger looked over, eyeing the benches and tables and deciding that her legs were getting tired. So, naturally, she walked over. Seeing them was one thing, but getting on them was a totally different matter. She sat her hot chocolate on the seat, eyeing it as she tried to figure out how to get up on it.

Joshua frowned, so crayons weren't good to eat. "I don't like being sick." He said. If crayons made him sick, he certianly wouldn't be eating them.
He smiled up at Nataya. "I bet you make good hot chocolate too!" He decided. "Where's 'Zuba?" He couldn't see her. Maybe she was hiding. Mommy's friend was hiding too.

Nataya put her finger to her lips, thinking. "Well, I've never actually tried to make hot chocolate, so I don't know." she explained. She smiled at the mention of her sister. "'Zuba didn't want to come, so Momma had to stay home with her."

Iggy nodded and moved to sit beside Ginger, stretching out his legs in front of him, crossed at the ankles. He sipped his hot chocolate. "Yeah, I don't suggest eating crayons. They're pretty nasty and they get caught all over your teeth. Takes forever to brush it away. Carlisle's totaly right. Don't do it, Zemel."

Finally Sugita caught up; she patted her hair and smiled uneasily at the others behind her glasses. She looked flushed and had her cell phone held to one ear; the other hand was engaged in grabbing hold of Carlisle's arm. "Carlisle, your grandfather's waiting. Apparently Bella forgot tonight you're supposed to-" The smile disappeared a little. "Anyway- time to go. Say goodbye, now."
"Um," said Carlisle. "Bye. It was nice seeing you guys."

Iggy straightened and a solemn-sad look marred his face for a moment. Then, dutifully, he lifted a hand to wave back to Carlisle. He hated goodbyes. "Okay, man," he replied and it was with gaining cheer now. "See you around later! I hope Santa's good to you."
