Mortimer nodded, accepting her thanks as he quickly lifted his arm in order to avoid getting a now-slightly dripping cupcake smashed into his coat as the human pushed passed him. Apparently the cupcake he had offered simply wasn't good enough.
Casting his grey eyes over the light blue frosting, he examined the delicate cake and shrugged, peeling the paper away with his nimble fingers as he lifted it to his lips, preparing to take a bite.
Just before sinking his fangs into the cupcake, Mortimer snuck a peek over at the others, just to be sure it was safe before he himself tasted the sweet chocolately goodness.
"These are good," Mortimer muttered in approval as he wiped the crumbs from his face, having devoured the cupcake in a series of quick bites.

Aiden laughed lightly at Moritmer's reaction, licking the frosting from his finger. "Well what did you expect? Lena and I have been around for awhile now so we know how to cook really well." He said before grinning. Then he looked at Lena. "You know what I haven't done in awhile? I need to make us dinner one day soon." He murmured, smiling at her.

Matt saw the other guy, hearing him say those things to Lena, he turned his head looking at him and asked: "Can I have a cupcake? Or are you just gonna watch me suffer while all these other people are eating them in my face?"

Mortimer looked from the human to the tray, and back again, shrugging his shoulders softly as he crumpled up the crumb-filled paper and deposited it in the waste bin. There wasn't a single thing Matthew could do to make him feel badly. He had tried to give him a cupcake after all. And what a delicious cupcake it had been!
"I would hate to ask how long these have been around," Mortimer muttered as he snatched another one up from the tray, seeing that there were plenty more. As he peeled off the paper from yet another sky-blue frosted chocolate cup-cake, he shot Matthew a look that seemed to say 'Well they are sitting right there, you know.'
Manners were nice and all...but these were cupcakes they were talking about here! And besides, he hadn't seen Aiden or Lena scold anyone from removing them from the tray. Perhaps he's allergic to chocolate, Mortimer thought idly as he bit into his second, equally scrumptious, cupcake.

Matt grabbed one off the tray and peeled off the paper and threw it away, he smelled it before he took a bite of the delicious snack, he sat down on a chair and licked some of the frosting on his lip, he stuffed the whole thing in his mouth, and grabbed two more of them and ran off, he began to eat the other one.

Matt ate his last cupcake, he decided to go back into the kitchen and snatched another cupcake, he peeled off the paper, and he took a bite, and another one, and another one, soon the cupcake was gone, he threw the paper away and was now, full. He sat down on a chair, twiddling his thumbs, he got an idea of what to do, he looked out the window and tried doing what he hasn't done in a while, he tried making this sunny weather into a rainstorm. It was a success! He felt his energy drain though, he laid there, seeing if the energy that was drained would come back, now he knows why he hasn't done it in a while.

''wow inscent you sure can eat a lot of cupcakes in a short amount of time" she said as she walked in she pulled up a chair and sat next to him "so where did you learn to control the weather?" she added as she looked at him, her eyes narrowed slightly

"Well, I was kinda born with it, but I didn't realize it till that one day where I was really happy and it was bright out, but I didn't know how to control it till I tried it out in tenth grade.....it was a tornado, because there were many people I didn't like talking to each other and they just happened to be at the spot, they didn't die though, but they got slammed hard." Matt said, his mouth was getting dry, so he grabbed a glass and put his hand in the rain, holding the cup, waiting for it to fill up, once it did, he pulled his hand out and closed the window and said: "No, that wasn't acid rain in case you were wondering."

she burst in to laughter " you(laugh) you filled (laugh) your cup like that!" she barely manged to squeeze out but then she regained control and said "are you anything mixed with human?

"Nope, I'm one-hundred percent human, I just have these powers, because it's kind of a gift I was born with." Matt said before he took a sip, then he asked her out of curiosity: "Are you anything mixed vampire?" He looked in the drawer and found little tiny, cute sized bottles of filled with a red substance and he found a label that said Blood in bold letters, he shrugged and put it on the table, in case people were too lazy to open the drawer.

"You get to have a sunburn, you exercise by running away from all kinds of things that want to either eat you or drink you, you crave water instead of blood, and you get diseases! So basically.........you didn't miss much." Matt said. He drank the rest of the water in his glass and he turned the weather into weather where the clouds lowered to the ground and people wouldn't be able to see their hands.

Mortimer tutted softly when, after the rains finally abated, a thick fog descended upon them, even gracing the sprawling innards of the mansion with its presence.
A bright, almost orangey flame flared in his hand, clearing the air around him like the sun on a misty morning as he reached for another cupcake, the flames dying down just as his hand descended upon the mint-colored paper-not wanted to burn his delicious treat.
"And here I had been enjoying the sun," he muttered to the cupcake in his hand as he peeled away the paper for there was no one else to be seen through the dense fog.
