Kane nodded again. "That would be nice. Thank you." He relaxed back into the pillow, his eyelids heavier than he thought they were. Soon he was sleeping peacefully.

Ris shook her head with a smile and walked out, closing the door.
Rosette stirred in her sleep, snuggled in a bundle. She wouldn't wake for another few hours which gave her body the chance to completely unwind from the ordeal. Yawning, she woke, blinking up at Ris who was smiling.
"Ris?"
"Hello. Just wanted to let you know your friend's looking for you. though first you might want to clean up. Your muscles will be sorer than before."
Rosette simply nodded and slid off her bed, moving slowly and awkwardly for the bathroom for a hot bath. She let the tightness and soreness release before she dried off and left her room for his, to see how he was doing. She peeked inside and smiled softly.

Kane rolled over and opened an eye. When he saw Rosette at the door, he smiled and sat up. "Hello...How are you feeling?"

She waved and came further in, closing the door.
"Hey....I'm feeling alright. What about you?"

Kane shrugged. "I have been worse. I have also been better. Your healer friend did a nice job." He scooted over in the bed slowly. "Would you like to sit down?"

She smiled. "I'd like to." She scooted over to sit down on the edge for a moment.
"Ris is wonderful...she's one of the best if not our best in the herd..."

"She even told me to get back in bed. It is almost like she cast a spell over me to make me do so. I had every intention of finding you before I did, yet before I knew it, I was in bed and ready for more sleep." Kane's eyes were already cloudy due to needing more rest, but the added perplexion made them even cloudier. "It must be her magic that makes her so good."

She giggled. "That's Ris for you. She does have a magic about her and she's a force unto her own. Which is funny because she's not at all what one expects from a vampire. She probably figured you'd be stubborn so insisted on you going back to bed. She doesn't like it if her hard work's getting fussed even the slightest."

She shook her head. "Not really. She simply insisted that I take a hot bath to ease my muscles. Other then that she told me you were looking for me."

Kane gave a small smile. "I was worried you were captured...but you weren't." He looked over at her, still smiling in his quiet way. "I thank you for coming back. It probably saved my life..."

She smoothed back his mane, smile softly.

"You should have. I fell behind. You risked everything coming back." Kane leaned into her touch before he even realized what he was doing. He averted his eyes quickly, embarrassed to show some sort of emotion.

"Well..I was followed back by my uncle. And why leave you behind? You were hurt because of me..."
She continued to smoothe his hair back though it was slowly turning into a simple play of his hair. She liked how it felt.

"And I would gladly do it again. But what if you had been hurt? I wouldn't have been able to have stopped her from attacking you in the state I was in." Kane frowned and moved one of his hooves closer to her hoof that wasn't in his mane. He rested it gently on hers.
