Hi I’m Amycus and while I belong to a handful of roleplaying guilds and group roleplays I thought I’d put out an ad for 1x1 as well. I’m nineteen and while this RP will follow the Gaia TOS but some content such as themes and language may not be appropriate for younger roleplayers.
I’m looking for a solid semi-literate roleplayer. A good paragraph, four to five sentences or more is sufficient. Two or three is preferred. Any longer may be pushing my attention span haha. I’m forgiving of writers-block but try not to make one-liners a habit.
Also important is the ability to play more than one character in the roleplay. Unlike in a group roleplay, there will only be the two of us so we’ll both have to pull our weight.
Cravings
★ A cross-over roleplay with characters from all sorts of different fandoms. No fighting to save the planet or traveling the world, in fact no plot to speak of just the characters working together to preserve or forget their in-canon memories.
★ Feel free to share your ideas for roleplays with me. I’m sort of running a blank on specifics. I just have a general craving for RP. Genres I particularly enjoy include: Series-Based or Inspired (I’m always up for almost anything Harry Potter. I’ve also wanted to try out something based on the Persona games. ) Modern-Fantasy, Crossover, Light Steampunk, Futuristic/Science Fiction Samples

Let me tell you a few things about myself .
I roleplay literate to adv. literate.
I use Microsoft Word to type out my replies, so that's how I gauge my ratings.
100-500 words-literate.
501 Words-700 Words, semi-adv. literate.
701+ Words- adv. literate. <------ Tha's my favorite, y'all.'
I'm crazily obsessed with the roleplays that I really like, so I'll tell you if I get bored with ours or I have new ideas.

And, no. A plot is not a pairing. This is a pairing.

And I don't even like that pairing. =o too cliche.
What Classic likes is switching between first and third person in normal chat, dark plots, twisted plots, plots with tons of twists(not the same as before), gore, action, romance, and basically everything.
Classic is a male, though he's willing to double as a female character.
What Classic doesn't like are: People who mistake pairings for plots, peppy, everything's great plots, non-thought out plotlines that lead only to adult scenes that Classic is fine with roleplaying out as long as they're tastefully done and have a backstory,(highlight me) powerplayers(unless we agree upon something extraneous), normal, all-human plots(usually), and high-school plots(usually).

Classic's really nice, really!
Some of his favorite-est pairings include....
Werewolves, non-sparkley vampires, demons, angels, rave dancing clubs, characters in a band, medieval, modern, horror survival(<333333), survival, horror, cross-over fandoms, fandoms, oc+canon pairings.

█████████ ██ █ seriously xxxxxHere's the dealio. I got an itch to do a role play that won't die due to lack of dedication. That's my big pet peeve. Any who, I'm an advanced literate (I would like to say), however, definitions of literacy differ. I do write 4-8 paragraphs a post depending on what comes to mind. I'm certainly capable of writing more than that. I definitely will expect whomever I role play with to be able to write back almost as much, if not more, as I wrote. Another thing I don't mind is talking with the person who is playing the receptive character(s) in the rp. Knowing the other puppet master makes it much easier to keep from writing out dead end situations.
xxxxxI can do PMs or in a thread, not much a preference to me. I will pre-warn that if it's over PMs I probably won't dress up a posting format just because it takes up so much room and most the time the PM shows the coding instead of the actual product. At least for me it does. Very annoying. For a thread I will definitely make a pretty post, if you decide to do the same, cool, if not, I'm not going to harass you about it. :]
xxxxxI'm going to pre-warn about that dedication thing I mentioned earlier. I won't be around twice during the summer, and I'm still in school, so I will have periods of rapid posts and periods of dryness. I will however, try to post as often as I can. I hope you can do the same. If there's a problem, just tell me so I won't feel like I've been cheated on an unspoken deal.
xxxxxI like plots. I do very much. I'm big on abnormal happenings in average life along with random super hero type stories. I have a few plots of my own if you would like to hear them. I break them down by categories.
super powers -- school (any grade) -- summer -- unnatural -- fandom
I don't mind romance, but I also don't mind hate-relationships where the characters don't and will never get along.
xxxxxI'm not a big junkie on the fandoms only because I've been in and out of so many series that I'm lagging behind in the recent parts of certain ones. You can ask, and if I've never even watched/heard/seen/ect. it, I would just up and quit it there. Unless you're willing to give me some time to get a summary and start reading/watching so said series, then go for it. I will, however, restrict the anime/manga series fandoms. Naruto and Vampire Knight are the only two that come straight to mind when I think of this. Those two will I never ever in the whole world ever do. Ask about it though if you don't know, I don't bite. One I will just absolutely adore you for is Eyeshield 21 if you care to.
xxxxxWill not do a short-term-quick solve resolution just to get a fix, I'm just not that person. I must warn also that I have a problem with vampire. Many bad experiences with vampire role players, and other unnatural things like that. If you can proved to me that you can make it more original than the pop-culture stereotype, then I'm all for it.
Hopefully you're still interested if you've read this far and put up with my silly requirements. Last notes are that I don't mind playing females or males. But I do ask that if there's romance that it be a heterosexual relationship. I apologize for not being too well oriented in homosexual characters, the closest I've done is a bisexual, and even that's hard for me. I'm just not one oriented for that.Below are my samples. About her;; Name's Emily, I'm 15 years young and an avid reader and writer. I haven't been writing for long, only started in 8th grade and now I'm a Sophmore in highschool. I'm semi/advanced lit, you'll usually get a paragraph more two for responses, if not more. I like action/romance role plays. But sometimes I'll go to a simple setting and plot,
EX: The sun set over the large animal ranch. The girl put all the horses in the barn and herded the sheep into their pens. She made sure the cows had hay and water, then locked the barn and headed back to her own cozy little farm house.

About me: I'm 16 years old I will be 17 this year, I live in California of the U.S. I have RPed for the past few years but and I write at least a paragraph in my response. I sometimes write stories in a document for practice when I get bored and can write well. What I'll do and what I won't: I will do fantasy, romace, action, comedy, echi, and maybe hentai.
I don't mind Yuri or Yaoi, however I would prefer Yuri if I had to choose between them.
Most likely I will not do hentai so don't get your hopes too high.
Requirements
1. I don't want anyone who tries to take control of the RP.
2. (If hentai) you must be flexible (I'll explain on PM).
3. You don't mind planning a bit before starting. The major events and all that. But leave most of it to make as we go. PM me if you want to RP with me.

Hey yo~ I'm simply advertising a roleplay called the Madhouse, a circus-type roleplay in desperate need of people, since most of our original roleplayers kind of went poof, along with summer break. Going by the kewt leetle FAQ in this subforum, we like at least adv. lit. Samples of what we expect will be on the next page in said roleplay. Alright, mebbe that's overdoing it, but still. .-. We're very picky these days, su... yus. .-. I require at least semi-lit to literate, and I prefer someone who is experienced with role playing, but I suppose the newbies have to start somewhere! I do romance, fantasy, sci-fi, action, you name it. Unless it's something awful or horribly erotic, I'll probably be OK with it. TheCardHouse is a mafia rp, with plenty of high and low ranks to fill. The story is based in Roulette, a super city that is controlled by four equally important mafia groups. While in most cities, the mafia would be controlled by the family, almost every member being in blood relation, the families that have taken control of Roulette could not. The city was too large for one family. They had to change to accommodate. They are known as The Suits, each one named after the four suits of a playing cards deck. The Suites rule each in succession of one another. Hearts as the highest in power, followed by Diamonds, Clubs and Spades. Each Ace of their suit are followed closely by Kings, Queens, and Jacks then from 10 down to 2. RequirementsThe only real thing you need for this group is a written App, you don't need art skill.
