This article is flawed. Thou they are right in the fact that Goth is not the barbarians that most think. (that is Vis Goth by the way not just Goth.) it is in association with the gothic movement in the 1800. it was a period in time. Have you ever heard of a gothic church built in the 1970. it was later adopted by the sub culture of by the beatnik subculture before becoming the full blown cravat wearing frock coat loving version of Goth . the same style as the gothic movement of the 1800. it has evolved in to several different styles. Neo Goth, cyber Goth and regular Goth. It has never been a belief system. Thou there is an archetype who are more inclined to lean that way. Wiccans pagans vamps and blood letters.
