Kind of a mini announcement, mainly because I can't be assed to edit my last post.
Please everyone, stop the OOC spammage in the RP threads. One or two OOC post is acceptable, but entire conversations will no longer be accepted. There are OOC threads for OOC chat, ya know? Use them! scream

I keep forgetting to annouce this but I won't be very active. I have a lot of school work to do, and a lot less time to do it. sweatdrop So yeah, I'll be dropping in everyday (besides weekends) to check in and post, but besides that... I'm not gunna be active. I don't know if this warrents an annoucment. xp

Ok, obviously people haven't been paying attention to the announcement (with the except of a few people) and for this the whole guild is going to suffer whee From now on, any OOC chat used in an RP thread that is not tied to an RP post will be a warnable offence. This applies to Mods and Admins too.
This may seem a tad unfair, but I am completely ******** off with the amount of spam in RP threads. If people stop posting so heavily OOC in RP threads, this rule will be de-restricted, but until that time, it stays. End of story.
PS: Please excuse my french sweatdrop
EDIT: My little warned list is going here. If you get on it too many times, you'll be banned whee This is only for people who spam threads, not for any other warnings

A: Three.
Q: Does this put Xiao in a good mood?
A: No.
Q: Does this put you in low standings with the moderators?
A: Yes.
Q: I saw Sephy's Warned list. Was there anyone else warned, too?
A: Yes. Kendo-San has now been warned for spamming the thread when he has been told not to repeatedly.

ennnnnnnnnyway, Maniac's back, for now.
I hope school's gonna be a little less stressfull, and since I spend the littlebit of free time I had in the weekdays on some other site, since everyone was doing that, gaia was kind of snowed-under lately (that dutch expression might not really work...)
but since that site became repetitive and boring, I will be here more often again. (but, to keep this from getting boring, not all day.. and not in the exchange anymore)

~ I've noticed a plethora of unapproved threads flying about; I think I've deleted four of them today. Users, if you see a thread that is NOT mod-approved, do not post in it. I don't care if you're trying to help the Guild or not; you'll KNOW if a thread is mod-approved.
Edit: and Users, knock off the wannabe mod-ness. It's uber-annoying.
Edit: Also, mark that your thread is mod-aproved and by whoam, this way we can be more fair.

- Xiao's computer is undergoing serious maintenance. Like... she's wiping the entire hard drive and re-installing her OS. I will be very scarce for a while, what with bitchy German teachers, with stressful musical auditions, and the last half of the fourth quarter upon me. Here are a few instructions that pertain to me:
____ If you have a question concerning the Dark Jedi Temple on Korriban, PM Darkside Luke/Sephiroth_2000. I trust his judgement.
____ If you are stuck in an RP spot that needs my attention, use good judgement and pretend Atra's away. If I end up being gone for an even longer period of time, I will kill her off. Use those RP wits of yours to figure something out.
____ I will only be on for short snippets of time between study groups and practice sessions, so I'll try to check in to see what's happening. Until then, you're stuck with my shadow.

Ho ho ho! It would seem that a certain memorable former member has decided he wants another chance. Incase you can't tell, I am refering to Iamjustice/Tanamon -__-"" I know how you feel. Just the mention of his names sends a shiver down your spine...
However! Sephi is feeling particularly forgiving today and is therefore going to give him one, one, chance. This means if he even breathes without permission, he'll be gone so fast it'll make your nose bleed Oo;;
I'll be PMing him shortly the exact agreements of his return. If anyone has any problems with any of this, feel free to PM me ^^

Advanced warning about Revenge of the Sith. I know everyone is excited about it's release, as I am. However, before and after it release, posting anything about Revenge of the Sith will lead you to become perminately banned and your post deleted. This may seem harsh, but not all of us are seeing it the day it comes out and do not want the end spoilt 3nodding

I have made a slight change to the Application form. There is no long a "Jedi/Sith Level" question. The stupid div who made that app question(who shall remain nameless, but we all know who it is xD) deserves a slap. They don't rank themselves, we do! scream
PS: Tony Blair won the General Election, but lost 100 odd seats in parliament xd Go Lib Dems!

One day later then the previous announcement was placed
As you might have seen, a new suggestion topic is posted. Back to the roots for the guild, or something else?
I know, it is not the first time we need a revamp, but we need to figure out something to get active, all attempts so far were failures.
as always, it is up to the members to decide. What do you like to see in the guild, what to you want to be removed?
Even if you are completely new, or haven't been here in ages, you can help us to decide what to do, so everyone can get a positive experience in the guild in the future.
Please, post all your ideas, the best ones will be used wink

- A quick reminder that joking in a condescending manner is not tolerated here. I'm tired of seeing it, and I won't hesitate to take action if I see it again.
- We've had a random BOOM of new members-- welcome, all! Feel free to PM K 19 if you have any questions/suggestions/in need of Dark Jedi ranking.
- My school projects are SOO close to being done: give me five days and I'll be back online as a full-time member/RP-er. If you in the Dark Jedi Temple can hold your horses about Atra until then, it'd be much appreciated.
Notes:
- Stop whining to me about not RP-ing -- I have some hardcore-serious end-of-the-year school stress to deal with. I wouldn't be very pleasant to RP with.
Edit by Sephi: That note also applies to me. I have had a lot of work this past week, and my exams start next week and go on for a month, after that, I will be Rping more also.
Also, if you find any offensive posts, please contact Sephiroth_2000. He will be collecting the posts and/if it becomes a problem, I'll have an archive of the posts. This will allow us to track "troublesome" Users, and will also provide evidence if/when we need it when reporting to a moderator.

- There seems to be a lack of communication between the Guild members and Guild moderators. Allow me to take this time to remind everyone-- INCLUDING the mods-- of some basic etiquitte.
1. Respect.
2. Listen
3. Be patient.
If only everyone could follow these three rules, we'd all be golden. In the past month or so, several of the Guild mods here have been struggling with another User. The User would constantly rat on whatever's happening, and slowly and surely picked away at the mods' decisions.
Soon, it became unbearable. In one "fell swoop", the User broke all patience we had with him, and we banned him.
Was this done on a personal agenda? No, certainly not. He was a wonderful person, his attitude was just in the wrong place.
Don't be "that guy"-- respect your mods constantly. You might not do something "big", like harass, but if you keep doing "the little things", you'll find yourself given the boot.
As a User in this Guild, you have the right to disagree with what's happening, but the constant shredding of other persons is completely uncalled for. The Mods can't help you if you refuse to tell them what you disagree on!
Love your Guild Mods. They (are paid to) love you. <3 :3

May 12thAs I was looking through the member list to ban a user that was yelling at the mods, I found something that caught me off gaurd. Ani is back, three times actually. I don't know how, or why, but I took screen shots of it and I will link them in this post. Page twoPage ninePage fourteenI don't know what I should do with this stuff, but if anyone does feel free to use them. K 19 Yeah, I saw those, too. I believe it's a result of one of the glitches in the past. However, since Darth Anakin has received a permaban from Gaia, I don't think that particular mule of his will be a problem. >_>
