Rabid's Holiday Event

Kunjiro was staring at the room when he entered, and soon was interested in the snowman located in the middle. "Is this a party?" he asked, before walking towards the snowman.
"I don't know," Xiao Ling replied, still looking at the decorations. "I'll ask other people about it," she continued. Saying this, she walked towards Karma and asked, "Is this a holiday party?" Rabid Ice Weasel Rabid turned around to see 2 new guests.
"Yeah," she smiled, "It's a party. Feel free to wander aimlessly. There's food over there on the table. You can go through here, too." She motioned to the portal.
"Allo," Liam huffed and rubbed his shoulder, heading for the buffet table with the kids.
Karmatic pudding Karma turned around and nodded to Xiao, repeating what Rabid had just explained. "I do believe it is." Her eyes wandered over to the food placed neatly on the table, then to the portal that Rabid pointed out. "A portal? Where does it lead?" Xiao Ling "Ah, thanks," Xiao Ling replied after Rabid explained, looking at the portal for some time. "I don't think I'll be going there, the party is nice," she continued, before heading towards the buffet table.
Kunjiro followed his mother when she walked towards the buffet table. He was interested in all the food on the buffet table, but he was too short to reach the food. He walked off and sat beside the snowman, feeling dissapointed. Not long after that, he saw a familiar face joining the party. "Is that Big?" he said in a small voice.
"Huh, Big?" said Xiao Ling, as she was walking to where Kunjiro was. "Hey, isn't that Rex?" she exclaimed, walking towards them. She thuoght that it would be better to be with other people than standing there and eat alone. Silencer Wolf Silencer's gaze followed her charge's briefly, before wandering off to the rest of the room. Her gaze fell on the newcomer(late-comer like herself just then and she smiled at the approaching guardian, waving to the new face.
"Hello there!"
Rex was just about to run off in the direction of his furry friend when a familiar female voice caught him in his tracks. "Hm?" Turning around, the boy smiled when he saw Xiao Ling and Kunjiro. Boy, the two families sure bumped into each other a lot lately, didn't they?
"'Ey Kunjiro-mum and Kunjiro!"
King, meanwhile, simply glared daggers at everything in the finely decorated ballroom, from the blue and silver decorations to the chairs, tables, people, snowman... everything. A foul mood he had indeed been for the past two days, growling and snapping at every living thing that dared to approach him.
All these, however, changed when the tyrannosaurus cought sight of... the buffet table. Food!
A rumble of excitement escaped King as he attempted to get to the table, pulling heavily in its direction.
"Chrr! Rurr-chrak..." Xiao Ling "Hi," Xiao Ling replied, putting what she took from the table on the floor. "We often meet each other," she continued. She then walked to where Silencer and a new guardian was and held out her right hand as she introduced herself. "I'm Xiao Ling, nice to meet you," she smiled and turned to Silencer. "How are you?"
"Hello!" Kunjiro said, eating the food from the plate that was placed on the floor. "What your name? I forgot to ask you," he continued, before stuffing the food into his mouth. He then walked off to where his guardian was and found himself meeting another mishap, who had blue hair and markings. Silencer Wolf "Ahah, yes." Silencer replied, a sheepish grin on her face. She returned the little mishap's smile with her own, and crouched down to be on the same level as her.
"Hello, little one. What's your name?" Silencer's smile widened as Thylassa held out the snowglobe to her. Little did she realise the gift was not intended for her. "For me? Thank you!" She took the snowglobe into her hands gently, and gave the dear little thing a peck on her cheek.
"You must be one of the newer guardians here, aren't you?" Silencer said, straightening up and smiling warmly at Gullien. "Late, I know, but welcome, my friend. I'm Silencer and you are...?"
"'Ey Xiao Ling. Good, I must say. How about you?"
Rex cocked an eyebrow at Kunjiro's antic and shrugged, smiling. "Rexier Gaver. Just call me Rex though, it's shorter. And my twin brother here," the boy turned his head a little, "is King."
"Um... you shouldn't at things placed on the floor." The boy spoke after a pause, scratching his right temple. "It's not healthy, y'know. If you want, we can get some fresher food from the buffet table."
Come on already, I'm starved! King snapped, and pulled in the direction of the buffet table with more force, causing Rex to almost stumble, but caught himself in time.
Okay, okay. Sighing a relief, Rex started in the direction of the table, before catching sight of Deimos. Ah, just the person he'd been looking for!
"Deimos! Hey Dei, I need to talk to you!"

Xiao Ling "I'm good," the guardian replied, turning back to look at Kunjiro for a while. "But I don't think Kunjiro is. He's getting lazier since winter."
"Rex and King? Okay," Kunjiro replied, leaving some mushroom spores on the food as he turned. "It's okay, Mom just got them. Not dirty." he continued. Silencer Wolf "Ah? How come?" Silencer asked at Xiao Ling's statement and looking over at the toddler. "If he is, then I certainly can't tell. He looks fine to me now, but meh. You're his guardian, so... 24 hour surveillance compared to just a few minutes from me," she said, laughing a little.
Just then she caught Gullien's question and frowned, then shook her head.
"Good question. You know, I've never thought of that," she said, looking down at Thylassa. "Now that you've mentioned it, I'm beginning to wonder myself." Her expression was one of worry as she glanced around the room at the other guardian, some of which she knew. Would they know?
Ah, but surely Jabir or Maggie knew? They were, after all, the ones who set up and ran the adoption agency. "Perhaps we can check it out whith Jabir or Maggie?" Silencer asked thoughtfully, stroking the snowglobe in her arms while the little white fox that had been curled on her head slithered down the girl and up onto Thylassa's stroller to sniff at the little one curiously.
Rex swept into the room just then, sending the fox skittering behind Thylassa. The boy stopped in front of his mother and handed her a large black void of a pearl, before turning and nodded to Gullien and Thylassa with a friendly smile on his face.
"Hello, uh..." he began.
"Gullien."
"Miss Gullien. And ei..."
"Thylassa"
"Thylassa." Grin. Silencer Wolf Rex returned a nod of his own to Gullien, before turning and showered little Thylassa with warm smiles and grins. Noticing her interest in his tail, the boy crouched and waved it around in front of her in a teasing manner, while King looked on indifferently.
"Ah. Yes, erm. Gullien, Xiao Ling. Xiao Ling, Gullien." Silencer moved aside and motioned the two guardian to each other, fidgeting slightly. Introduction done? She was never good with them.
"Jabir," she began, "Is pretty much in charge of this place alongside. He's a mishap too - Maggie's, if I'm not wrong." Silencer nodded a little hesitantly. Eh.
Just then, Silencer snapped her head around as Rabid's announcement rang out into the ballroom. "Over already?" Looking at her own watch, the girl 'ah'-ed, and gave her charge, who was still playing with Thylassa, a few nudges.
"Mm?" Rex looked up from Thylassa to his mother.
"It's time, we have to go now."
"Okay."
Silencer turned to Gullien, as Rex gave the little young one a gentle pat one the head. "Well, it seems like we have to go now," she said, glancing from Gullien to Xiao Ling, then back to the former. "It's been nice meeting you and Thylassa, hope to see both of you around the HQ sometime. Happy New Year!"
"And you too!" Silencer added, turning to the guardian who had been so silent all the while. She shook hands with both guardians and their charges, then both mishap and guardian smiled and bowed slightly before waving and started heading for the door. Gullien Gullien offered a wave goodbye to Silencer and Rex's backs as they walked out. The head thing on Rex's back may have waved back, or being flailing, or something. Let's assume waving. Well, Silencer and Rex seemed nice and now she knew a little more about the people who ran Magical Mishaps. Glancing over the other guardian and her little Mishap, she smiled hesitantly.
"Ah, hello. I didn't see you standing there? Are you heading out too?"
She could hear a small gurgle from Lassa. It was pretty late.
"We're probably going to head to the kitchen for a midnight snack or something if you want to come too..."Lassa signed unhappily as the tail retreated. But, but, but! The big other kid patted her on the head, prompting a giggle before he left. Booo! A bit tired and rather over-stimulated, Thylassa gurgled, looking around. Everyone seemed to be leaving? No, there was someone Gullien was talking too. A big person with another kid? She couldn't quite see. Xiao Ling "Goodbye!" said Xiao Ling when Silencer and the other mishap left the room, before turning to Gullien. "Erm, sure. I'd like to join," she replied.
Kunjiro waved at them as they left the place, and sighed as he turned. "Rex's leaving, no one else to play with." he thought. He then noticed a girl not far from him, and walked towards her. "Hallo!" he said. Gullien "Great!" Gullien replied, smiling at the other guardian and what she assumed was her (what was that kid, a plant?) Mishap. "It's not far from here. I've gotten pretty good at finding where the food is at." She glanced down at the little Mishap, but judging from the speed people were using to leave the room, it was probably best to do introductions in the kitchen. "Let's go."The yank of the stroller surprised Lassa and she glanced up at and around. She had a quick glance of a neat-colored kid with a big hand before she was pointed at the door. They were leaving already? She stuck one hand out and waved to the hat-boy. She had to pull it back in quick though as the stoller passed through the door.Gullien took a look around the hallway to get her bearings. Right. Trusting the other guardian and Mishap to follow, she pointed herself and the stroller in what was hopefully the right direction. Kitchen ho!

Gullien and Thylassa
The soft quiet of the night is broken by the small squeak of a stroller wheel and the crinkle of a piece of paper as it slides under your door. It appears to be similar to a small postcard and has writing on the front and back.
 
Looks like someone is wishing you a happy year of the dog!

Location: Kitchen (Yellow Area) My Characters: Xiao Ling and Atsutoshi KunjiroOther Characters: Gullien and Thylassa Gullien - The Kitchen, following the holiday party - (Thylassa and Kunjiro RP) Gullien pushed the stroller through the swinging door, glancing around. No one else was here, per usual. Maybe the other guardians ate in a lot or something. She glanced behind her, hearing Xiao Ling and the Mishap kid following. Cool, everyone was here then and they hadn't lost one forever in the hall. "So." She said to Xiao Ling, wheeling Thylassa next to one of the counters. "You know me and I know you, but I don't think the kids have been introduced. This is Thylassa." She gestured down to the little Mishap, who was rubbing one eye (face, left) and looking around with interest. Xiao Ling Xiao Ling smiled at Thylassa, then waved towards her charge, who seemed to have left her side for a different, more interesting place. The girl sweat-dropped at the empty space beside her, before catching sight of Kunjiro heading towards the fridge.
"Uh, my boy, he's Atsutoshi Kunjiro. You can just call him Kunjiro, and right now.. well..."
Upon entering the kitchen, Kunjiro's attention was instantly on the food storage area. The boy made a straight beeline towards the fridge, and, grabbing the handle with both hands, succeeded in opening it. A quite 'waaah' escaped the boy's lips as he peered up at the food stored inside.
Xiao Ling just shook her head at her mishap's food-orientated behaviour, smiling slighty. She returned her attention towards Gullien and her charge, an apologetic expression on her face. "Sorry about Kunjiro's behaviour. He's probably still hungry, I don't think he ate much during the ball." Gullien Gullien cocked her head at the name. "Is he Japanese?" She asked with interest. It'd been a long time since she'd met someone from Nippon. "Oh, don't worry about the food." She said, waving a hand. "We're just as hungry. Neither of us got anything to eat at the party at all. Were you late too?" Meandering over the the fridge, she peered over Kunjiro's shoulder, hands in pockets. Bottle... bottle... didn't they have any bottles in here? C'mon, this place was lousy with babies! Sighing, she began opening cabinets.Thylassa yawned quietly and stuck one eye in her mouth, sucking on it like a pacifier. Hungry and sleepy and she couldn't figure out which one she wanted to do more, sleep or eat. Hungry, but there wasn't any food yet; sleepy, but interesting things were still going on. She simply settling on watching Kunjiro and Xiao Ling curiously. Hopefully food would be forthcoming. Xiao Ling "Mm hmm. He was... uh... created in Japan." Xiao Ling paused. It felt weird when she said it like that. "Unfortunately he doesn't know a word of Japanese though, because I don't." Xiao Ling smiled sheepishly, making her way towards the fridge after Gullien.
"However, I do plan to get him a teacher to teach him Japanese. It seems such a shame for him not to know his mother tongue." She continued, removing a half-eaten apple from Kunjiro's hands. Who in the HQ put such a thing in the fridge?
"A little late, maybe. Silencer and her boy came in ten, fifteen minutes after me." Xiao Ling bent over and began searching through the fridge for vegetarian food.
Kunjiro whined as the apple was taken away from him, but he was soon distracted by a bunch of grapes hidden away in the lowest corner of the fridge. He took them out happily and, losing interest in the fridge, shuffled over to Thylassa to share the loot.
"Hi!" The mushroom boy waved, after putting the large bunch on the table in front of her. He grined at her, before moving on to plucking the little round things off and offering some to her. "Want some?" Gullien Gullien barked out a laugh at Xiao's reply. "Made in Japan? That's kinda ironic. I was too. Have you been there at all?" She made a triumphant noise as she found a plastic bottle squirreled away behind the plates. "If you're interested in the history, I recommend Kyoto. Lot's of beautiful things that survived the warlords somehow there." She eyed the bottle for a moment. It was probably clean. Probably. Meh, Thylassa probably had more germs than the bottle did. Now... milk.
"Go luck with the Japanese. It can be a difficult language. Probably best to learn it while he's young." She declined to mention Japanese was her first language. She had no intention of teaching it to Lassa and no intention of teaching it to anyone else. "And you?" She asked, changing the subject. "Where are you from?" The question was tossed out over one shoulder as she dug through the fridge, lower body and furry tail waving in the air.Thylassa watched the approach of Kunjiro and the round thingies with interest, main eyes fixed on the bunch of grapes and upper eyes closely watching his face. Round things? Round things for what? Having not seen grapes before, she simply reached out a chubby hand and grabbed at one. Squish. Ewwwww. "Abuuuudah!" She explained, examining her hand and then showing the grape-smeared palm to Kunjiro. What had happened to the round thing? Xiao Ling "No, never," Xiao Ling replied, shaking her head at the same time. She then stood up and walked towards a rubbish bin and threw the apple into it. She nodded as Gullien explained. "Me? I'm not sure about that myself," she paused as she found chocolates not far from where she stood. "But I know I'm from a Chinese family," she continued.
"It's okay, you can have this one," Kunjiro said, plucking another one from the bunch and gave it to her. "I can give you another one after that," he continued, tossing one into his mouth.

Location: Kitchen (Yellow Area) My Characters: Xiao Ling and Atsutoshi KunjiroOther Characters: Gullien and Thylassa Gullien "China? That sounds interesting. I've never been there myself. Seen some pictures of it though." Gullien triumpantly hoisted a pitcher of milk aloft. Sniff test... smelled fresh enough. She quickly poured it into the bottle and jammed the thing into the microwave. Low setting... the first she'd tried this she'd scorched her own arm but good. Good thing the bottles came with the warning to test the temperature before you gave it to the kid. "You don't know where you're from?" Now that was a leading question. Still, she had time.Thylassa gingerly held the grape, watching Kunjiro closely. Okay... you put it in your mouth. She carefully put the grape into her mouth, gumming on it carefully. Felt like when she put one of her eyes in her mouth. But soft and squishy. Putting a hand to her mouth, she tried squishing the grape. Mmmmm... tasted like juice! Xiao Ling "No, I don't know," Xiao Ling replied. She then ate the chocolates she found earlier, and offered some of them to Gullien. "Want some? I'll leave them on the table. Feel free to take them," she said.
"Yah, just like that," the boy said. He then placed the grape on the floor and ran towards the fridge, looking for food. Gullien ((Nah, but we'll pretend to be in alternate timelines)) Gullien tilted her head as Xiao simply responded to her question. She waited a moment, curious to see if Xiao would elaborate. When she didn't, Gullien simply shrugged and turned back to the milk. "No thanks, I can't eat chocolate. Allergic." Actually, it could made her liver fail, but that was like being allergic. Poking at the pot, Gullien watched Kunjiro run back to the fridge, grapes abandoned. "See anything good in there?"Thylassa simply put her hand in her mouth and squished another grape against her tounge. Trapped in the stroller as she was, she couldn't reach the grapes on the floor. She whimpered slightly, reaching for them with her free hand. Unfair. She couldn't reach the squish-balls!Xiao Ling Kunjiro, who was still looking for food, had already taken out some leftovers from the fridge. Without taking his eyes off the fridge, the mushroom boy continued searching.
"Nothing much, just a fish inside," he said, turning back to Gullien. He then took what he found and took them back to where Tylassa was, placing them on the floor before handing the grapes to her. "Here you go, you take all of them," he said, eating the leftovers he found earlier. Gullien
Thylassa eagerly reached for the grapes, firmly squishing them in both fists. The squish-balls were good... but they were more fun to squish than to eat. She smeared one grapey-hand against the stroller. She was getting tired and cranky... and was still hungry! She muttered unhappily, wanting to be out of the stroller but not wanting to sit out on the cold floor, either.Gullien shrugged again as she lifted the bottle out of the microwave. Nothing wrong with fish. She made her livelihood of them. "You don't like fish?" Gritting her teeth a bit, she sprinkled milk onto her inner arm. Phew, non-nuclear temperatures. Good, judging by the way Thylassa was beginning to fuss it was probably time to feed her and go. Gullien dropped down cross-legged next to the stroller and the small pile of food Kunjiro seemed to be amassing and pulled Lassa into her lap. It would be easier to just hold Lasssa and feed her Thylassa wouldn't stand for that. Instead, Gullien had the set the baby in lap, head against on leg and give her her bottle that way. Thylassa latched onto the bottle, clutching it with one grape-y hand and smearing the other along Gullien's pants.Xiao Ling "No, don't like fish. Like vegetables and fruits more," Kunjiro replied, filling his mouth with food. "Want the fish? I get them for you," he continued, before looking at Tylassa and the grapes.
Xiao Ling stood up and sat beside Kunjiro, took some food the mushromm boy found and eat them. The food wasn't as nice as she thought, but at least there's something to eat. "Not eating?" she asked the other guardian, chewing away the food.
After finishing the food, Kunjiro left the dishes on the floor and walked around the kitchen, licking his hands at the same time. He then found a box filled something brown in color he had never seen before. Grabbing one of them and licked it, he smiled and it into his mouth. Not bad, he thought.

Spring cleaning and getting ready for Chinese New Year
"Ma, what's a Chinese New Year?" Kunjiro asked loudly while decorating the room with Chinese New Year decorations. Grabbing some mandarin oranges with his arms, the boy rushed towards a decorated basket which was put on the dining table earlier.
"Er, it's a festival people celebrate. Wait until the New Year started and you know what is it," his guardian replied, cleaning the room before decorating the other parts of the room.
"And why must we do the cleaning now? Why not later?" Abigail asked suddenly, for she does not know anything about the New Year. "Is it.. Oh!" she cried out as small footprints can be seen everywhere as Kunjiro ran around the room. "And Kunjiro please, don't walked anywhere you like, the floor's dirty again," she said.
Xiao Ling laughed as she came out from the kitchen, carrying a pail of water.

Location: Orchard (Farm Area) My Characters: Atsutoshi KunjiroOther Characters: Rexier GaverXiao Ling Orchard
After wandering in the orchards with his pockets full of oranges, Kunjiro sat under one of the trees, peeling off the skin and the whole orange into his mouth. Not bad, he thought, patting the pocket stuffed with oranges. He then stood up and continued looking for fruits. "No oranges. Apples now," he said to himself.
He walked on, hoping to see more apples before leaving the orchard. Reaching the other side of the orchard, he saw one of the trees with apples. "Aha! My first apple," he said as he walked towards it, looking at the apple for a long time. Silencer Wolf Rex wandered into the orchard, followed by two very small looking creatures - small looking, because... well, almost everything seemed small near the tall kid, now almost ten feet tall. The boy had dropped by the farm to help clean up the stables with Silencer(Jay had come down with a cold, and was not able to do so), and now that he was done, the boy had decided to take the two foals for a walk around the area.
Upon entering the orchard where, despite the snow and cold weather, fruits were growing aplenty, the elder of the two foals - a chestnut quarterhorse filly by the name of Star - gave a delighted whinny, and galloped towards the nearest apple tree. Not to be left behind, the other foal, a black hanoverian colt known as Shooter zipped after her, and soon after both foals were jumping around under the tree trying to get at its juicy fruit.
King, who had been eyeing the two foals with interest for some time now, huffed and snorted as they left, muttering something no one could understand under his breath.
Rex blinked as the two young horses 'flew' towards the apples, then laughed lightly, shaking his head. It was just then that the boy caught sight of another figure under a neighbouring apple, and his face light up in an instant, recognising said figure straightaway. Kunjiro!
"HI!"
Xiao Ling Kunjiro turned around when he heard something. He saw his friend and with the fruits on his arms, he ran towards him, not noticing the one or two oranges dropped from his arms. "Hello!" he said happily, showing the oranges to Rex. "I collect fruits, join?" he asked. Silencer Wolf Rex trotted slowly towards Kunjiro, stopping only a few feet away from him. At his statement and question, the boy tilted his head sideways, waving his tail behind him.
"Uh..." Rex began uncertainly, peering down at the fruits in the boy's hands. He had been consuming oranges - honey mandarins, for the past few days, and was not exactly keen on the little orange balls just now. But then again, he could not but help his friend.
"I guess yes, but you eat. Okay?" Xiao Ling "Okay!" Kunjiro replied, turning towards the tree in front of him. "Uh.. can help me get this one? I too short," he continued. "Oh, and I look for those now, not troubling you if I ask you to help me take those?" said the boy, pointing to the apples hanging on the trees. Silencer Wolf "No problem."
In a short span of time, Rex had already gathered much of what was request by Kunjiro. One thing about being tall was, things which are normally deemed hard to reach was not a problem.
"Here you go." Rex lowered himself and placed the fruits on the ground before the boy.
A brown head snapped towards the hoard of apples, oranges and other fruits not too far away from Rex, followed soon by another. A squeal of delight escaped Star when the filly saw what was before the two-leggers, and in no time at all the two foals were cantering towards them.
"Oh yeah. Guess what?"

Location: Orchard (Farm Area) My Characters: Atsutoshi KunjiroOther Characters: Rexier GaverXiao Ling "Ooooh, thanks you," said Kunjiro, who collected nothing for the past few minutes. He then put the fruits on the floor and took out the oranges from his pockets and placed them on the floor too.
"Hmm, guess what what?" asked the boy, who was arranging the fruits in a triangle shape, the top one rolling down from the pile. Silencer Wolf "I flew." Rex stated simply, an excited glint in his eyes. Xiao Ling "Eh, flew?" Kunjiro asked disbelievingly. He then turned to Rex, looking at him for some time. "You have no wings, you not fly," he said, pointing a finger at Rex's back. Silencer Wolf "Oh, but I had." Rex grinned down at Kunjiro, absently picking an apple and rubbing it against the sleeve of his shirt.
"I had them, though only for a short while. But they're beautiful. Almost like this, see?" Rex paused, and held up the feather that was attached to a black string around his neck. The boy waved it a little, then took the simple necklace off and held it out to Kunjiro, just in case he would like a closer look. "Birvan gave me this, and the wings, and they were unreal."
Beginning to get rather excited, Rex waved his hands and the apple around as he continued with telling his tale.
"It was so cool! I could see the whole place from up there, and the view was spectacular! Then he took out this skateboard thing from his coat and jumped on it, and did some really awesome tricks in the air."
Even King was excited, and as Rex continued telling Kunjiro about how he followed some of Birvan's air tricks, the tyrannosaurus rex filled in the story, with his greatest ability, his own rendition of the flight. Infortunately for the reptile, one could hear only rumbles, growls, snaps and low chirps from his side. Xiao Ling "Ooooh," he said, staring at the feather necklace for some time, feeling excited at the same time. He then turned back to Rex, hoping to see him flying. "You can fly now? I want to see!" he said, feeling excited. "I tried once, but didn't work," he continued. Silencer Wolf Rexier's shoulders drooped. "No, I can't."
"But I want to learn how to, without wings. Like Birvan."
At Kunjiro's last sentence, Rex blinked, and squinted down at the boy before him. "You tried? You mean, you might be able to fly too?" His expression was a mixture of surprise and hope. Craning his head to one side, Rex furrowed his brows and bit his lips.
"That's a cape right?" He said after some time. "Maybe, if you have air allignment like Dei, you can fly like him." Xiao Ling "Oh," said Kunjiro, feeling dissapointed after hearing that Rex cannot fly. He then sat on the floor, helping himself with another orange.
"A cape? What's that?" he asked, after hearing Rex's last question. "I can fly with that?" he asked excitedly. Maybe that can help him fly. Silencer Wolf "There. " Rex pointed to Kunjiro's back, at the green 'moss cape' he was donned with. "That's a cape, like a cloak." Only then did he noticed something different about the boy's cape...
"Is that your tail? Is it part of your cape?"
Autumn Star whickered to herself, and moved in closer to Kunjiro. Snorting curiously, the filly sniffed the mishap's mushroom hat, and gave it a tentative lick. Xiao Ling "Oh, okay," said the boy, looking at the green cape. "And the brown thing is my tail. I always wag it," he continued, wagging the tail to show his friend.
"Um... Is it yours?" he asked, patting the filly beside him. Silencer Wolf Autumn Star gave a short whinny as the boy whose cap she had been licking patted her, but it soon gave way to a nicker as she nuzzled the toddler's hand. Three-Point Shot, on the other hand, was busying himself with cleaning up the apples on the ground nearby.
"Heheh." Rex laughed at the tail wag, and shook his head at Kunjiro's question. "Not really. She's Mother's, and so is Shooter over there." Rex pointed at the black hanoverian colt, and gave a sudden exclaimation as he saw what the young equine was doing.
"Hoi, you're eating Kunjiro's fruit!" Xiao Ling "Oh, lucky you then," said Kunjiro, who had just stopped wagging his tail. Turning back to see what happened, he jumped a little and ran towards the fruits quickly. "Aiya!" he exclaimed, grabbing the fruits before they were eaten by the black colt. Silencer Wolf Shooter jumped at the exclaimation, whinnied, and snatched another apple before scampering away, whickering happily to himself. His joy was short-lived though, as Star, seeing what had just happened, galloped after the colt and snatched the apple away from him and whinnied, as if laughing at Shooter.
What happened next was a mini battle between the two foals over the apple.
Rex laughed the at the horses' antics. He caught sight of Jay waving at them in beside the farm house, and turned to Kunjiro, his facial expression apologetic.
"There's Jay, I think I- we need to go now. Want to come over to my room sometimes?" Xiao Ling "Yes, when can I go to your room?" asked Kunjiro excitedly, after hearing the invitation from his friend. He then put some of the fruits into his pockets and took some with his hands. "I have to go too, I stay here too long," he said. Silencer Wolf "Any time you want. If Mother allows it, I can even show you the Castle." Rex nodded , his face a mixture of joy and excitement. Looking towards the two foals, the boy picked up a stray apple on the ground, and called out to them in an attempt to catch their attention.
"I'll see you then, 'kay? Bye!" Rex waved to Kunjiro and, holding out the apple in plain sight of Star and Shooter, trotted his way back towards Jay and the stables, the two young horses prancing after him. Or rather, the apple. Xiao Ling "Okay, I'll bring mum to your house, if she can come," replied Kunjiro. Before heading towards the exit, he turned back to his friend to bid him farewell. "Bye!" he said, walking back to his room.

It had been a long day of wandering around the HQ, and Pyren was starting to get very sleepy.
"Just one more floor little guy and then we'll head home." Shane reasured the drowzy baby.
Shane reached the third floor garden and was amazed by what he saw. It was almost as though they weren't even inside at all.
"Wow...I wonder if Jabir made this..."
Pyren looked about too, the place was nice and colourfull. The smell of the flowers and colours around him was enough to wake him up a little, but not enough for him to stop dozing in and out of sleep.
Xiao Ling "Okay, we're here, Kunjiro," said Xiao Ling upon reaching the indoor garden, taking out a transparent plastic bag and gave it to Kunjiro, who can't wait to feed the fishes in the pond. "Enjoy yourself and be careful," she continued.
Kunjiro grabbed the plastic as soon as he saw them and head towards the pond without waiting for his guardian. He then opened the bag and grabbed the fish food with his left hand and started feeding the fishes.
Xiao Ling shook her head and walked around the garden, thinking that it would be better to let the mushroom boy feed the fishes alone. As she was busy admiring the garden, she noticed two figures in the garden. She then walked towards them and smiled. "Hello, didn't expect anyone here. I'm Xiao Ling and is one of the guardians here." dark77778 Shane transfered Pyren to holding him with one arm while he quickly shook Xiao Ling's hand, then transfered Pyren back to his previous position before the boy even had time to protest.
"Evening Xiao. My name's Shane, and I'm a new guardian here. I was just making a tour of the HQ before heading home here with Pyren." he said, motioning to the drowzy baby in his arms, "I think this is about as far as we'll go today though." he said as Pyren let out a lengthy yawn.
Shane then noticed Kunjiro feeding fish by the pond and he slowly decided to make his way over there, anxiouse to see what the little Mishap was up to. When Shane got there, he noticed Kunjiro was happily feeding an asortment of colourful fish in the pond. Instead of asking Xiao, Shane curiousely asked the boy what his name was.
Pyren was very facinated by the colourful fish in the water, and he very much wanted to join the boy in feeding the fish, so he began to sqirm a bit in Shane's arms. Xiao Ling "Shane? Nice to meet you," replied the guardian, who went to a nearby bench to sit, for she was tired. Not long after she was fast asleep, and snores can be heard not far away from her.
"I'm Kunjiro," said the boy, with his hand in the plastic. "And you, sir?" he asked, throwing some fish food into the pond. He then noticed a blue mishap with the guardian and offered him some fish food, if the guardian does not mind. dark77778 Shane allowed Kunjiro to give Pyren some food to feed to the fish. However, Pyren misunderstood the purpose of the fish food, and ate it himself, and almost imediatly spiting it out and into the pond. The fish, not complaining about where the food had come from, promtply began to eat it.
Shane laughed and shook his head at Pyren.
"No no Pyren, that food is for the fish." Shane tried to explain pointing to the pond fish who now seemed to be swarming around where Kunjiro was tossing food. "See?"
Pyren, still with the bitter taste of fish food in his mouth, looked at the fish, then to what Kunjiro was doing, and back to the fish. It took him a moment, but it seemed that after watching for a little while, Pyren finally understood what the fish food was for.
After Pyren began to grab out towards the fish food Kunjiro had, Shane politely adressed the older mishap.
"I think he understands now Kunjiro. Could you maybe let him try again?" Xiao Ling "Sure," said the boy, handing the plastic to Pyren, before taking out some of them himself. "You can ask for it anytime," he continued. He then put the plastic on the floor and wiped his hands on his trousers and watched the other mishap. "Very fun to feed them, right?" he asked. dark77778 Pyren was having a great time feeding the fish. Every time he threw in a peice of food, the fish would all race around trying to grab it as fast as their fins would let them.
Shane noticed that Pyren was having so much fun that he decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to set him on the ground next to Kunjiro so he could get a closer look.
Pyren smiled as he leant over the pond to stare at the swimming creatures. He pointed his finger into the pond and squealed "Fith!" to Kunjiro and Shane.

Kunjiro turned at Pyren when the blue mishap squealed. "Mmm," he said and nodded his head, putting his hand into the plastic again, and threw them into the pond. The fishes swam towards the fodd, and in no time the food dissapeared. He chuckled and took some fish food, and this time he offered it to Pyren. "Here you go," he said. "There's a lot more here." dark77778 ((That's fine Xiao...this encounter isn't going to be long though >_<; as this post will show]))
Pyren grabbed a fistfull of fish food and leaned over to drop the food in the pond. However, the moving fish caught Pyren's attention so he moved to the bank's edge and reached out to touch the fish furthest from the bank.
Shane's eyes widened as he realized what was about to transpire.
"Pyren! Stop!" he exclaimed, but it was too late.
Pyren lost his balance on the bank's edge and fallen into the pond. Neck deep in water, Pyren's vision became blurred and staticy and he started to feel dizzy and sick, and scared. Pyren started to cry, but even his cry's were distorted, and seemed to be going in reverse.
In the blink of an eye, Shane had already raced to the bank and pulled Pyren out of the pond and was trying as fast as he could, to dry Pyren off with his shirt. He called to Kunjiro
"Quick! Get your mommy, or get a towel! This is an emergency!" he urgently requested. Xiao Ling "Okay," said Kunjiro as he stood up. He then rushed off to the other side of the pond, where his mother was sleeping. Ignoring his mother snoring, he nudged her gently on the shoulder.
"Hmm... What!?" exclaimed Xiao Ling as she was disturbed from her nap. She stood up and before she could say anything, she was interrupt by Kunjiro.
"Mommy, mommy you got come here quickly!" he said urgently, pushing her towards the pond. After some time they reached the pond, and Kunjiro dragged her towards the other two people. "They nedd your help," he continued.
"What's going on?" asked the guardian, taking out a small packet of tissue and offered it to Shane. "Anything I can help?" dark77778 "He fell into the pond," Shane briefed Xiao in a paniced voice barely audiable above Pyren's crying"I tried to stop him. Jabir warned me that water would make him sick."
Shane took the tissues from Xiao
"Thanks." he hurriedly said while wiping as much water off Pyren's face as he could.
Everything was moving very fast for Pyren, and his vision was reduced to flashes of staticy images back to binary code. Pyren was very close to loosing conciouseness. His crys were no longer distorted however, which was the only sign given to Shane that let them both know he was doing the right thing.
"He's burning up! Hang in there Pyren!" Shane's voice had increased to a panicing state and he was on the verge of tears. Quickly, he transfered Pyren to one arm as he quickly took off his sweater and wrapped Pyren up in it.
By this point Pyren had passed out; but as soon as Shane put his sweater over the boy, Shane felt his fever go down slightly.
Wiping his eyes with his free sleeve , Shane turned to Xiao and Kunjiro.
"Sorry about that you two. I'd better go back to the room to make sure he's okay. You're welcome to visit though." he invited as he made his way hurridly towards the stairs as he waved farewell to the both of them.
He really hated to leave Kunjiro and Xiao on such short notice, but looking at Pyren's unconciouse figure, he knew that there were alot more pressing matters at hand. Xiao Ling The guardian looked at the blue mishap for some time and thought. Not long after she knew there was someone who could help both of them. "I think Jabir can help both of you," she said.
Kunjiro looked at Pyren before turning towards the mishap's guardian. "Is he okay?" asked Kunjiro, without turning his head. At the same time he wondered why Pyren acted like that. He never acted like that when he touch water.
"It's alright. His condition now is more important," replied Xiao Ling, before heading towards the exit. "And I have work to do now, so I guess we'll see each other some time later?
Knowing that his guardian is leaving the garden now, he ran towards his mother and at the same time, he waved farewell at Shane and Pyren, before heading off. "Goodbye, sir, good bye," he said.

Jabir quietly made his way up the staircase towards the apartments of the guardians and their Mishaps. it must've been the thousandth time in his life and felt like the hundreth quest delivery, but it rearlly couldn't have been that many yet..right?
Finding himself in front of the correct door, the tall Mishap/caretaker removed the sealed letter from his pocket. with a characteristic flick of the wrist, he send the paper sliding under the door. Quote: Dear Xiao Ling and Kunjiro, The fact that Kunjiro is a mushroom type is quite obvious, of course, and it seems that a small thing - that goes hand in hand with mushrooms - is now plaguing your charge. Spores! They seems to, rather recently, be puffing out of his back and head more than ever, and are becoming quite bothersome. As guardian help your Mishap figure out a way(s) to overcome or control this bodily change. Feel free to visit the infirmary with any questions and best of luck to you both! -The Magical Mishap Staff.

Quest! Location: InfirmaryXiao Ling Xiao Ling, with the quest note on her left hand, was walking towards the infirmary for the second time. Upon reaching outside the room, she was greeted by Kunjiro, who seemed to be super energetic on that day.
"Ma, you are being slow today," said the boy, laughing at his guardian's slowness. He then feeled some dust in his nose, and a few seconds later a loud sneeze can be heard outside the infirmary.
"Be careful," said his guardian, looking at the small particles flying around Kunjiro. "You don't want to make this place dirty," she continued. She then stepped forwards and knocked the dorr several times and stepped backwards, waiting for someone to open the door. Magical_Mishaps Maggie looked at the tired looking guardian that just came in. But she also saw the other two by the door
"Can I help you?" She smilled, addressing everyone Xiao Ling "Oh, it's this note," said Xiao Ling, handing the quest note to Maggie. "I was wondering if you can help me," she continued, patting Kunjiro on the head. "And I'm Xiao Ling, the one looking after Kunjiro," she smiled. Magical_Mishaps "Ah! Kunjiro's little spore problem" she said as she glanced the note. She had read it before Jabir went to deliver it, so she already had an idea of what to do
"Please sit on the bed, while I get Jabir. We need to have a look on what's going inside of you before taking any decisions"
She then turned to Kanilea. "Hope you don't mind me dashing off for a bit. I'll be right back and then you can tell what's bothering you. Meanwhile feel free to sit on one of the beds"
She opened the door and when to fetch Jabir Xiao Ling "Thank you," said the guardian, shoving Kunjiro into the infirmary before sitting on the beds. "Sit here, Kunjiro and don't wonder around touching the things that belong here," she said to Kunjiro.
"Okay," the boy replied, taking a seat next to his guardian. He liked sitting on beds. As he waited he rocked a little, making the bed bounced a little. Magical_Mishaps It didn't took long for Maggie to return, nearly pulling Jabir's arm off
"Sorry for the delay. Now lets go down to business" she moved over to Kanilea "So what brings you to the informary? Nothing too serious I hope"Jabir could help to yawn and shake his head to wake up. Maggie had litteraly dragged him out of bed
"So what seems to be the problem" he asked to Xiao, half-awake. His brain was too sleepy to remember the quest note he had delivered Xiao Ling "It's the quest," replied the guardian. "I was hoping that you can help me with it," she continued. "And the quest note is currently with her, though," looking at Maggie.
Kunjiro looked at Jabir for some time before looking back at his guardian. "He looks weird today," he said, trying his best to his voice low. Magical_Mishaps "Quest..." it took him a minute to realise what Xiao meant "Oh! the spore one. Right, now I remember"
He yawned again, unwillingly showing his sharp teeth behind his covering hand. "Sorry about that, I was sleeping a minute ago. Feeling anything else besides the dust of spores?""Well... he his nocturnal. It's hard for this age to change the sleeping schedule, but I think I have something to help with that. But besides night activity, how has he been acting during the day?"
She vagely remembered his quest note, but details given by the guardian always helped Xiao Ling "It's okay," replied the guardian. His next question confused her, and with that she asked, "Hmm, dust of spores? Can you please explain that?"
Kunjiro listened to the conversation between his guardian and Jabir, and soon got bored with them. He tried to explore the other parts of the infimary, but Xiao Ling kept pushing him back. Magical_Mishaps "That's how I call the great amount of spores he's releasing. A complete dust of them"
"But you haven't answered to my question yet Kunjiro"Maggie listened as she observed Aladon's stunts. It could be hiperactivity, but she didn't think so. Considering the conditions of his creation, he probably was just overly curious. Still that didn't explained why he refused to sleep "Yes, but it will only last for a few days. Using it for long periods has a negative effect"
"Perhaps..." she suddenly had a suspicion "Perhaps we need to use something different. Tell me, how does he act at going to sleep? Which position gets him to sleep faster?"

Quest! Location: InfirmaryXiao Ling "Ah, okay," she replied. Hearing the next sentence she called Kunjiro to answer Jabir.
"Oh, sorry, I thought you're asking my mother," said Kunjiro, who was not paying attention earlier. "Sometimes my head hurts, and sometimes I feel heavier," he continued. Magical_Mishaps "Hmm... sounds like a normal reaction", his neck moved a bit sideways as he pondered on it, but his head remained still
"Lets try and see how much you are releasing. I want you to shake your head as much as you can. And your cloak as well"She kept nodding as Kanilea explained. Her suspicion was proving to be accurate
"So whenever he gets upside-down he feels more confortable and able to sleep. Not a strange reaction considering his bat heritage"
She went to grab a vial with a purple liquid in it. She uncorked it for a second to see if it was still fresh, a smell of wild berries and baked bread filled the air, making Jabir sneeze a bit
Sealing it again, she handed it to Kanilea
"This should help Aladon and you to sleep for the next days. A teaspoon just before going to bed will do the trick"
"As for Aladon's long term sleep, I recomend you to try and get him a bed that allows him to hang upside-down. If I'm right that should take care of his lack of sleep" Xiao Ling "Okay," said the mishap, shaking his head and his cloak as much as he can. Soon he feel dizzy and stopped shaking his head, but not the tail. "Ooooh... is that enough?" said him, about to fall of the bed. Magical_Mishaps Jabir watched a large cloud of spores coming out from Kunjiro. He waited until most of it settled before gathering it all in an compact ball with his ability
"Yes, thank you Kunjiro" he said as measured and weigthed it
It was obvious the little mushroom Mishap was producing more spores than should be expected. But why wasn't easy to determine
A sudden idea came to his mind and he licked the ball to confirm it
"I think it has something to do with his hormones and pulse. Tell me Kunjiro, does this happen more often when you feel embarassed or excited?""Anytime Kanilea. I'm happy I was of some help" she smiled as she left, turning then to the others to see how things were going Xiao Ling Kunjiro almost fell off the bed in a sudden spell of dizziness, but managed to cling to Xiao Ling's arms as she reached towards him to brush off some spores on his cape.
"Are you okay, Kunjiro?" Xiao Ling asked, with a hint of worry on her face and voice.
"Little bit woozy..." he said, before turning to Jabir, still clinging to his mother. He gave the question a little thought before answering.
"Excited, yes," he said, nodding. Magical_Mishaps "So, what up with our lil mushroom boy?" Maggie asked to Jabir, wondering on what he found out"Apparently his body is starting to release spores with his mood swings, specially when involves an increase of his blood circulation. Don't really know what to do to prevent it""Hmm that's a though one indeed..."
She let her mind wonder, trying to recall what she knew about mood affected reactions and what potions and spells were helpful in that situations. Sadly none of them applyed to Kunjiro's particular case
"No, I don't know any way to prevent it either. Perhaps it's not meant to be prevented at all" Silencer Wolf (( Heyas ^^ I've received permission from my sis to help rp out Kunjiro and Xiao Ling as she's having exams in a short time, and must revise for them. Hope this is okay with you ^^; ))
In the silence that ensued, it was Xiao Ling who spoke first.
"I'm sorry, but what do you mean it's not meant to be prevented?" the guardian asked, a little shocked and surprised. Stroking her little boy's (mushroom capped) head, she added, "Is there any way to reduce the effect?"
Kunjiro smiled, enjoying his mother's warm touch. Looking up at her, then Jabir, then Maggie, the mushroom boy blinked.
"Is it seasonal, at least?" Xiao Ling said again, after pondering for a little while. Magical_Mishaps ((Perfectly ok))
"Some of the changes on our bodies are quite natural, although bothersome sometimes" Maggie could state various examples, but it didn't seem proper in front of KunjiroJabir put his long, thin hand on Kunjiro's shoulder, to get a more accurate reading
"I believe it will vary with his mood. But I'm sure he will be able to keep the release at minimum... if he can manage to control his feelings"An image of a teenager Kunjiro releasing spores on his first date suddenly came to Maggie's mind. She tried to shook it off and not to giggle at the thought
She couldn't avoid to look at the toodler, but suddenly she noticed there wasn't any spores falling from him right now
"I think I have a solution. The spore production can't be stoped, but perhaps he can shake them off regularly. That will prevent an overaccumulation and he won't have to bother with those clouds for a good while""That can work, although it would be best if he learns some control over them. Small amounts can still be expelled if his pulse increases" Silencer Wolf (( Thanks <3 ))
Xiao Ling nodded, getting what Maggie was hinting about. Spotting her gleeful expression a moment later, the guardian could not help but wonder what was on her mind, but was soon distracted by Jabir's explanation and Maggie's kind suggestion.
Before she could say anything else, Kunjiro, who have been rather quiet, giggled and flapped his cape, sprinkling fine sprays of spores around him. Now that he was feeling better, the mushroom boy beamed up at Maggie and Jabir, before attempting to get off the bed.
"We done?" Kunjiro whined, as soon as he was stopped by his mother. The boy reached up a hand to scratch at an intchy spot on the underside of his mushroom hat. "I wanna go home 'n bath..." Magical_Mishaps The itch was only the first signal. As it increased, and made Kunjiro want to sractch even more, a familiar energy started to run through his body
Strangely it seemed it was affecting his mushrooms more than any other part of the body, making them feel sore and numb as the energy grew stronger. But suddenly it faded, as the mushrooms realeased a new cloud of spores, although this one was golden and glinted under the ceilling light of the infirmary
Quite sure the changes had taken place, Kunjiro looked around and tried to see how he looked like
His mossy cape was now dotted with a multicolored population of mushrooms, off all shapes and sizes. His mushroom hat felt different too, like he could open and close the slits that released the spores We have to take you to know your alignment first. You won't need the check up since you already did it
