"Glow at night. Yes," Una brushed her hands together, as if dusting them against each other, happy at a job well done, "You didn't notice?" then again, he seemed like a heavy sleeper; the kind that wouldn't have woken up unless there was actual, imminent danger around them. She'd noticed he had a sort of sixth sense about that. While he accepted her presence even if she approached him from behind, this was not the case with everyone else. More than once she'd seem him tense and ready a growl at some unsuspecting Ursari that approached them from behind.
Taking a moment to ponder his words, the girl tapped her chin, "You think?" it was a rhetorical question, really, and it was clear Una didn't expect him to answer it, "I guess if they glow more once you acknowledge the bond, they might possibly glow more when... uhm... later," steering away from the awkward theme (while it wasn't all that awkward for Leife to talk about such, Una still had a bit of a problem not hesitating - in her defense, she'd been rather secluded from such themes, mostly due to her looks).
The healer suddenly made a small motion with her hands, holding them a small way aways, "If this is our glow," she said softly, "The glow I saw was more around this size," at this point, she spread her arms far apart from each other, making her look comical, "That big," despite the awkward direction the conversation had taken, she could not help a small smile, the mirth showing in her eyes, "Maybe we should go talk to them. They might know a bit more than us. Besides, if we're going to live here, it'd be nice to greet those around us," tilting her head, she looked towards the door, "I guess they're our new 'Family' of sorts."

His lips twitched as Una explained the difference in the 'sizes' of the glowing. Slightly more worrying was the idea that the glow increased during sex. If that was the case, how did soul mates keep from going blind? ... Wait, wasn't there an urban myth along those lines, he wondered.
The suggestion to go meet their neighbours broke Daevan away from his random ponderings. "Sounds like a plan," he agreed. "We were rather obvious when moving in. They're likely as curious as we are."
Besides, it would be nice to meet people in the same situation as they were. All the soul mate pairs were playing the same waiting game, waiting for the Elders to decide what to do with so many bonded pairs appearing at once. So despite Daevan's inclination to avoid social situations, it made sense to meet the others. If they all shared their information, maybe they could get a better idea of what this bond entailed and what it meant for all of them.
... He just hoped none of them were Veduni. A scowl crossed his face. If he was still a Ba'al, then a Veduni was still a Veduni, and the last thing he wanted was to be forced into spending time with one to see if they had any information that he and Una didn't. Not that a Veduni was likely to share anything or voluntarily help an Ursari from a different Family (or even their own Family).
"You're my new 'Family of sorts'," he told Una, very gently bumping against her side. "But let's go meet our new neighbours."

A nod from the healer signalled she agreed, "I guess they're waiting for us to take the first step. Not wanting to intrude."
Had she been in their shoes, that's what she would have done at the end of the day. Her thought unknowingly mirrored those of her soul mate; idly, she found herself wondering whom it was composed the members of these other pairs. If Daevan and her were so different from each other, did that mean other soul mates were like that? What families where they part of and how were they coping with the whole ordeal?
Getting feedback seemed like a good idea. While it was true that most of the caravan was wary around them and the whole atmosphere surrounding the recent events smelled of Drama with a capital 'd', surely they would find refuge within those sharing their same ordeal, right?
Una's thoughts were pierced by Daevan's words and she couldn't help but smile, "Everything will be alright."
Even if everything wouldn't, in fact, be alright, she could still cling to the glimmer of hope, if only because he was around. He was probing to be quite the supporting pillar in her new life. As if to show this, the small sheep-like Ursari took a step forward to grab onto her soul-mate's arm, twining her arms around his, gripping him for metaphorical moral support, "Let's," she agreed as she gave his arm a mild tug.
