The dark shadow drifting about the ceiling was invisible to all that were in its presence. Nebiros had just travelled over the phone lines and to an audiance where he had boosted the power of one of the weakest fallen and let another of the weaker fallen know exactly who ruled this domain. Even with that his presence hadn't left. The body-less angel could spread itself so far and wide, it's aura diluting the further it went but always with the slight shiver to the spine.
It's awareness suddenly drifted down to the wolf in the cage. It was only one of many within this hell that had been influenced by Nebiros' shadowy hand but this animal had become aware of it's presence.
Without a conduit in which to project itself Nebiros' shape was defined solely within the mind of the people touched by the angel, and as the wings of the invisible entity folded over Steffon it seemed as if a ball of warm light appeared before him, six beautiful wings stretched from the orb.
"Steffon... I am a Guardian Angel... I need your help..." The voice was so beautiful and musical, perhaps from a chorus of flutes or a row of wind chimes. Or it could have trumpets sounding in the distance followed by the rumble of bass drums. It was a symphony in each syllable, and so comforting. Even in the cold of the prison area Steffon was warmed.

That was what was required. The warmth seemed to grow stronger within the cell. 'There is a girl of mine. A wonderful poor lost child. She needs help and I am unable to reach her.' The wonderful fingers within the wolfs mind stroked him gently. 'If I can get you from this place then would you go to her and help her?'

'Where she is I can not follow.' The voice said kindly. 'If I was able to then I would. But right now she will not respond to those other children I may ask. She is in need of some comfort and kindness, that is all. So would you accept?' It was being very soothing, and truthfully for one so ancient and evil by most standards he did love his children.

'You will find her within the cellars of St. Patricks Cathedral.' the voice said kindly. 'Comfort is all that she needs.'
Within the dark and dismal cell created by the government the warmth of the angel vanished from the wolf to be replaced by the cold. And yet with no reason at all the door to the cell unlocked. As the door opened so did all the cameras shut off, and all the people seemed to forget that there were cells in this area.

The shadow made sure that as soon as the poor wolf had left the doors locked and the cameras turned on. There was no more record of him having been within this horrible place. The wolf would obey their aggreement... or suffer worse than what these humans could offer.
