Yeah, our state is a definite blue state that was won by a red candidate for governor last time, but then the democrat called for a recount, and a recount, and a recount, and found boxes and boxes of extra votes in warehouses and things, and somehow she won. OH WOW BIG SURPRISE.
So I'm pretty sure that she's not going to win this time. At least, I hope not.

And my life hasn't changed...
I don't get how like 0% of precincts have reported in CA and all those other places... and they're like "Obama won"...
EDIT-- I lied, I do... I just don't like that the popular vote really doesn't mean much...

Lets hope Obama does a good job whee I'm sure he will. I agree. Basically my philosophy is that whoever the president is, we have to stand behind them and support them, because if we don't present a united front, our many enemies will attack our weak points. And we will have many weak spots if he cuts military funding like he wanted to.

He is our president (or will be next year) and he deserves the entire country's respect.
I want to know what new laws there are in NV kind of. I wish we got to vote on interesting stuff this year like same-sex marriage or legalization of medical marijuana but we didnt. But I still want to know XD

I guess I should share my political stance.
I'm for Obama. But, to be honest, both candidates looked somewhat... risky. XD
But... I felt like talking about the Propositions in my state.
I'm against Prop 8. Not only is it somewhat... biased, for lack of a better word, but it's actually kind of pointless, in my opinion. You see, they actually changed the state's constitution to say that same-sex marriage is legal, and it's not a good idea to change the constitution that much. In short, even if it passes, it probably won't last for long. XD
I say yes on Prop 2, though. Why didn't they try to ban it sooner...? O_o;
3, believe it or not, I say "No". The hospitals aren't in any money shortage that I know of. XD
9, if I read it correctly, sounds exploitable.
I don't know much about the rest, though. Mind you, this is just my opinions. XD
But... congrats to Obama for winning. ^_^;

The one good thing that came out of being engrossed in election threads in the GD all day was this:

Young John McCain...MMMMMTASTY <33333 I now know to NEVER marry someone just because they are totally ******** hott when they are young, because look at what happened to McCain 50 years later XD Old Men are not sexy.

Well, wow... Tonight was quite a night. o_o;;
I was for McCain, very much for McCain. His exit speech made me tear up. Of course I'm disappointed, but...
I actually have hope, after Obama's speech. I think he's a good man. That's the most relaxed I've ever seen him and... just.. he said a lot of good things. I don't agree with him completely, but you know what? He can prove me wrong. Plus.. since the VP debates, I've kinda liked Biden. o.o
Lately I've been seeing things that have made me want to like Obama.. I DO like him.
Right now I'm actually very happy. o__o; It's good to see so many people so thrilled about our new President. I'm personally thrilled we have a black president. This is a step for America, a very big step.
If he does what he says he will, he will be a beloved President.

8 is to re-ban gay marriage. 2 is for banning cruel animal farming, such as sticking a chicken in a small box where it can't flap its wings and such. 3 is more funding for children's hospitals. 9 is victim's rights; if you're a victim of a crime, they'd give you money. But, I'm still trying to figure out the details. Here's a link to a list.

`aine chievious 8 is to re-ban gay marriage. WTF???? Wow. I hope CT NEVER does that. I would be so disappointed in my state.
OMG so watching these speeches made me SOOO want to be president XDDD I was a good enough captain sometimes right? A little immature but I'm sure I'll mature a LOT in the next 20 years XD You would all vote for me in the 2032 elections, right?????
