The only Kokeshi Collectible that matters in Zen Gardens is the one that pops up right in front of the chest after it closes.

Kill it and the main Kokeshi doll should come out and mop the floor up with your head, like it did to me and my wife repeatedly. razz

Best option for CL is a minimum of 3.8 or so, otherwise get a crew or at least do it when many others are there attacking also.

If you get Dazed during the fight don't leave back to the null chamber because you'll still get credit for the quest if someone else kills it. You have to be on the same screen as it when it dies to get credit.

you have to do a lot more quests before you get the lantern one. they are all pretty linear in ZG. i can't think of any where you get to work on some at the same time. the composing quest repeats though so you can work on those while you're trying to level up.

I'm already surprised at how different it is from when I started at Halloween.

The train is completely different. You don't actually do anything. The guy just gives you a Solar Rays, there is no option.

Then when you get off the train, you just go find the lady and she lets you leave after killing 3 peelungers and 4 gramsters. There are No Other frames and No Other Enemies to kill!! I got a Ghost ring out of the chest after killing the enemies. Then you just go out to Barton. Elizabeth gives you a choice of practically ANY ring (instead of only having the sewer ones available) when you complete her quests.

This really is different, I'll check the guide thread to see if they noticed the changes.

Ok after playing for a bit more last night, I have more info to share.

When I first spoke to Elizabeth, she asked if I wanted to be a defender or if I was a people person.
I choose people person, and she sent me to "talk to her friends" who ended up being 3 different people around town who had quests for me.

I did all the town quests after that. Then when I talked to Elizabeth [again] she told to help defend the town and sent me to go see more different people around town who gave me quests to go into the sewers.

So now, people give you a quest and there is a flag that pops up in your map telling you Which manhole to go down. Then the map of the sewers is just like what it was before. Except that the peelungers and gramsters don't mix, the peelungers stay in a specific area and the gramsters run rampant through out the rest of the map. They also came up with a "Alpha Gramster" [also a "Mumbler" which is the same critter] who is a big gray gramster that is Orange for me.

I figured I would move this thread about... I am still trying to complete the gnome encampment quest. I have gotten it 2/3rds of the way, but get endlessly beaten up and frustrated. But, I'm going to get them darned things yet, I tell you! What is the best way to approach them?

I'm working on Katsumi's Doll. Two weeks in a row she's kicked my a**. But I was able to do a couple of other little things in the process like the drums and musical notes. smile

What's everyone's current CL? Mine's 2.7.

My cl is 5.1

Oh heck, I don't think I've gotten up to 3.0 yet. But, I'm trying to get higher with those dang drums. They are a pain!
