yay for cheerios w/o sugar. a definitely plus in your diet.

Grippy~ good job on the stair stepper. it is a very hard machine, and i find I don't do well with it. i actually havent been on one in a year. i could maybe do it now, i'm not sure. energy drinks can actually be good if you work out (otherwise worthless) because they replace those solutes you need to function. It prevents dehydration and such. However you can do just fine without them if you have normally functioning kidneys. I like them on occasion too.

o_O I haven't had cheerios in ages... *wants some* xd

I can do at least 30 sit-ups and not feel any ill effects the next day, and my arms are much more tones (ie- don't have to clench arm to see muscle). But I must also watch it, because my arms are beginning to look a little beefy. xd

im sure they aren't too beefy. girls look nice with some muscular definition.

weight lifted yesterday, and am going today as well. yesterday i did arms. i am improving at a good rate! i benched 45 lbs, 3 sets of 10. before i could barely do 5.

And fuzzy, it's the testosterone that determines how beefy you would be. Since ladies don't have much of it... lift to your hearts desire ^_~

I can't wait till monday, so I can stairstep again whee

today... i am "exercising" my mind by cramming in statistics

My walks now involve more jogging, and I find that I am completing them faster than when I first started-out on my diet. Soon I will have to make a longer jogging route to follow.

congrats sense! thats good to hear!

i'm doing way better at eating today. i've decided i need to kick up the healthy eating portion of my routine. i've eaten crapily, but exercise a lot, and i know i'd show more progress if i ate a little less sugary fatty foods and some more fruits and veggies.

today so far:

breakfast:
scrambled eggs (no cheese!), cranberry juice (i know juice is sugary but i allow one fruit drink a day), and a bowl of shredded wheat

lunch:
half of a turkey and swiss sandwich with tomatos, mustard (no mayo!), a salad with various lettuce (no iceburg), spinach, carrots, broccoli, and roma tomatos. also had a small portion of yogurt with cottage cheese.

this is SO much better than i normally do. go me.

Am I allowed to simply say super big YAY for Special K Vanilla Almond? It's SO good. They have that Special K diet where you eat the cereal for breakfast and lunch, and I could do that simply because it is THAT good.


Also, YAY for Crystal Light on the go... or whatever it's called. Can't get through that last bottle of water you MUSt finish? For just five extra calories you can have something yummy! ^^ I'm willing to add five calories for that.


Eeep! I hope I'm not posting too much for a guild newbie!

no no! we love lots of posting.

i agree, crystal light is quite handy in that respect.

special k is quite yummy! don't underdo the calories tho, or you will gain weight instead of lose it. i'm sure your fine but just a caution to the special K diet.

My yay is that i ran a mile today. took a break during the middle for a couple laps, then went back to running. altogether with warming up and the break and cooling down i walked a 1/2 mi, and ran 1 mi. pretty exciting really

im also kind of inspired to try the stair stepper.

A BIG Yay for Yourself!Fitness for Xbox (and PC and now PS2!) which is the only reason I've been able to keep myself actually working out. It's a "game" that acts as a personal trainer. You begin by doing a fitness test to see where you are, what you need to work on, etc. and then you get a new workout every day. MUCH better than just doing the same video every day like I used to.


Yesterday was my BEST workout day yet, I did a 45 minute lower body workout and a 45 minute flexibility workout. *dances* So proud! And I didn't cheat on my diet ONCE!
