Etsu worked to reassure her with a gentle smile, and pawed at her, as if trying to brush the blush away. "To dry? Well... I dunno... I usually just leave it overnight."

Zarah giggled slightly as she brushed her cheek. She couldn't help it. She then smirked slightly and flicked her hair out of her eyes. "Well then. I'll stay here over night with you. It it my fault." She made a goofy face as she looked at her.

Etsu blushed, "You really don't have to... I mean... It's not like you meant to get it dirty... We just had some fun... it just kinda... happened." She was so glad her fur was dark for once - it helped to hide her embarrassment.

Zarah chuckled slightly then shook her head flopping down and looking at Etsu with a smirk. "Its cool. I really have no place to be." She grinned again then nipeed at her flakes before shifting back on her haunches.

Etsu nodded slightly, "A-All right... If you don't mind..." She sat down and shifted slightly, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Zarah smiled then licked Etsu's cheek before standing up and flopping down on her side under the tree, flicking her tail and looking at Etsu. "Its so nice here. I'd live here If I could." She smiled looking out at the water before laying her head against the base of the tree, relaxing.

Etsu inched a bit closer, tossing her hair from her eyes, "It's very nice here... Why don't you live here? Where do you live instead?" She had scooted over a bit closer, but finally stood and walked over, standing over Zarah.

Zarah smiled as the other female moved closer to her. She liked this female. Something about her. "I would but me my sister and father are always wandering around here. Not that far." She shrugged. "I don't want to leave them but I don't want to show this place to them. Its my get away of sorts." She shrugged again. "I go here to get away from them." She laughed slightly. "I love them but I like my space from them at times." He smiled slightly more at her then shrugged. "I might live here one day. I dunno. I don't have anyone to live with. I don't like living by myself." She made a small face at the idea.

Etsu listened with interest, and her tail was swaying back and forth in time with Zarah's words... She was enchanted by this lioness's beauty when they first met, and captured by her personality. "Living alone... That would be lonely..." she connected, looking wistfully up to the sky a moment.

Zarah smiled slightly at her and chuckled. "Yes. It is. I've been on my own a few times and I hated it." She sneered at the idea. "It isn't something good to be alone. Or thats how I see it." She also looked up at the sky for a moment before resting her head on her paws watching Etsu with a soft smile on her face.

Etsu looked back down at Zarah, "You know, it's possible to be around other lions and be lonely all the time... It's the company you keep..."

Zarah made a small face then nodded to her. "Yeah. I know. At one point I felt like that offten." She looked down at her feet then sighed. "Are you lonely, Etsu?" She asked a little quietly as she stared up at the sky thinking. She crossed her paws in front of her.

Etsu sighed and thought a moment, "I never felt lonely in my pride... It was just life, and that feeling was just a feeling I had always had. My sister and I weren't close..." She paused and followed Zarah's gaze. "But after today... That feeling was loneliness, and now I feel like I don't know anything but being lonely... Except for today."

Zarah frowned at her awnser. She looked at the other female then scooted a little closer to her and then sat up licking her check. "Thats no good..." She then flicked her h air out of her eyes. "You know, its not a good feeling at all. If you feel lonely you can come find me... Or this place, or even stay with me for a few days if you want." She cleared her throat and smiled a bit. "But I'm glad your not lonely right now." She smiled softly at the idea.

"Thank you," she said, giving an actual smile - as opposed to the small, shy ones she usually presented - to Zarah for just a brief moment before it faded back. "Perhaps I'll have to accept that offer some day..."
