A name I may consider using is 'Xian Luparn'. I made it up a long time ago...it doesn't mean anything, but it just... came to me. It just feels really right, somehow.

My wiccan name is Silver Swing. I picked the 'Silver' part because Silver seems to apply to alot in my life. My chosen metal, representing Goddess, and a few other hidden connections.. Swing, because of my scary mood swings, and because of something else between friend people, that i wouldn't be able to explain.

How do you discover your wiccan name...? I've been working on mine for so longs, and I still can't come up with one. My element always comes up to me... which is fire. And I always feel this really strong connection to cats? Can that have anything to do with it? I've noticed a lot of people's have to do with animals ... so... and elements... so... can anyone help me out?

My Wiccan name is Iris Ester Vedis. I means eye of the star that watches over the spirit of the forest. I know its strange but my mother gave it to me.

I myself do not have a name currently, because I haven't had need for one and I haven't found one that I find acceptable. However, I have found that this page: http://home.att.net/~ladykaat/nomicon/ while some of it is rather simplistic, offers some insight on the process. If you are really called to fire and cats, you may wish to include either or both of them in a name. But it is not necessary and don't think that you HAVE to. My mentor includes "Raven" in her name, because she has a very strong connection to them. There are also others who use names that are strikingly similar to everyday names, some who use completely made-up names. The name should be chosen because it should feel right to you, not because you are obligated (although of course, it IS obligated for some stricter traditions, but even then, it should be one picked in comfort and peace, not simply because you "have to")
