((It's okay. I mean, I love Edward, but he's the only reason I continued through the four of them.))
Aang sensed the ice demon before she moved. Then she jumped as the water began to cover her skin, soaking into her clothes. It confused, whatever she was doing, but when she saw her move, she was more surprised. What was she doing? Finding a new angle to attack? Or just trying to hide her position again. The bat instinctively believed she wasn't going to be attacked again, so she just called, "If you hurt me again, I'll kill you." She said it facing 90 degrees away from Kaitlyn's pursuers, and made her voice carry far. It almost sounded like it actually carried from a hundred feet or so that way. Then, Aang turned, giving the demon most of her back, and walked off. She had every intention of going to the nearest healer.

Kaitlyn whispered, knowing that Aang would hear it, "I never attacked, the anger swept over me. You do what you must do." once done she waited for a trace of what she expected, death. She felt it coming, but from her pursuers more than the bat demon.

((Just as a side note...she also yelled in Kaitlyn's opposite position....I just read over what I posted and realized it didn't make sense...))
Mentally Aang was slapping herself. She knew better than to trust someone, especially not here. Evil and cruelty was everywhere, and everyone here deserved to be. But she couldn't shake the sense that somehow this one person might be decent, and she had to help her. Even if she was entirely evil, maybe the ice demon wasn't.
Suddenly, she whirled, facing the opposite direction, and hissed fiercely as if she had heard a sound. She summoned her scythes and began to walk towards nothing. Her entire body was tense, and though her wings ached she ignored her as she would in a battle. But this time, stupidity not her blades seemed to be her weapon.

[[okkyday! that makes sense.... ish... xD]] Kaitlyn hear the hiss through the vibration in the moisture and curled tighter but had no release, staying perfectly still in the shade of the branches above her. The bark helped stedy and hold her in place though her little tiny wings had to be pressed against her bony back. She closed her eyes, listening intently to what was going on.

Bu-bump. Bu-bump. Aang could only hear her heart beat pounding in her ears. It seemed to drown everything else out. She let herself scan the area, and called "Where the ******** are you?!" She began to walk backwards, frequently looking around her as if she was expecting to be attacked. She knew she looked scared, and prayed they would think it was because of the ice demon, not them. She had begun to breathe shallowly, fairly silently, but if that girl had as good of hearing as she said, she'd be able to see the direction she was going it.
It was just as she walked out of the forest that she mentally banged her head against a wall. She'd left a scent trail! Had she really been that scared?! She was suddenly positive going home would be a booby trap. She hide her scent immediately, heading in the opposite direction of her house. She may have no idea what was out this way, but it might be safer.
((Curiosity, am I going to be the hunter people, or are you, or are we waiting for Dark Angel to come back?))

((Yeah...I even worse when I have to talk to myself. It drives me crazy. Maybe we should PM Dark Angel, and ask her if she's coming back?))

((Okay, she's been PMed. She's not on though, so I don't know when we're going to get an answer. And I am sorry for the long wait. See, I bookmark my roleplays, so I can easily check them, but my computer's in the shop. I'm on my brother's instead, but he doesn't have barely any memory at all nor any of my bookmarks. So...I don't know what guild any of my roleplays are in. And to save RAM, he doesn't save his history. >.> Well, I've found it now, and that's what's important.))

Kurai swept down from high above Kaitlyn and drew his katana out of it's sheet as he landed softly right in front of Kaitlyn. "Well, well, what do we have here? If it wasn't a lost little girl rebellion?" he grinned.

"Who said I'm a rebelion? I never joined!" Kaitlyn said, trying to fight back the tears created by her fright. He is gonna kill me, Kaitlyn thought to herself. Her face stayed stronge but her mind was weak.

Aang couldn't help but jump at the flurry of feathers behind her. In order to preven the hiss of pain that wanted to emit from her, she bit her lip so hard that it bled. She was grateful that she'd gotten at least some distance away from there. I helped you as much as I could. Now, it was her skin that she needed to keep safe. Knowing that with her wings broken, flight was impossible, the bat began to head towards her home. She did not trust herself to move very quickly, as she was only sure of her stealth in the air. So step by step she began the trek home, flinching at every crinkle the leaves made under her feet. She doubted she was coming out of this alive. Even if the ice demon did not belong here, she now had one life ended because of hers. Not that it mattered due to her equally short remaining life span.
