Discuss: GAIA AND HOW ******** STUPID AND RETARDED IT IS!!!!

I've only been here since late 2005, but I haven't really been active except in the past year. I think it's improving since it makes it easier to get rid of rule breakers. especially scammers, hackers, and people who disregard the rules. (which, wellwisher informs me is the proper description for a noob) I'm sure that there are people who incorrectly report and inadvertently get their account banned for wrongly reporting, but I really do think that things have improved. Maybe not the automatic part, since an important part is looking through past mistakes and find any similarities before making any warnings and computers have a limit as to how helpful they are for that.

I said telling them not to makes them want to do it more. D<

Stop whining. I've only recently joined gaia. Before I came here, I did most of my chatting on neopets. If you want to grip about censorship, then go there. Most of the words considered bad and many ways to say them by spelling them differently are blocked, there are monitors who patrol the boards(although they're usually not much of a problem because there are so many boards) and someone can report your comment if they feel offended by it, and if you get 3 warnings you get a suspension, and each suspension is a bit longer, and after a few suspensions you get frozen. When I came here I was shocked how free everyone was to say whatever they want. You can get a warning for saying the word "party" on neopets, so this place great.

rofl Neopets isn't a kids site, it was created to be a site mostly for college age students, I can find the quote in the neopian times article if you really want me to where TNT say it themselves, it's just child friendly. If anything, neopets is designed for an older age group than gaia, because gaia is only aimed at teens. If you want to talk to people college age and older, go to the help boards any time past 10pm nst(neopian standard time).
And also, as far as the actual site goes beyind chatting rules, I much prefer neopets, because it has a lot more games of all different varieties, and it often has very involved and complicated plots that no 9 year old can figure out without a guide. And now that I think about it, nobody under 13 is allowed to chat on the boards anyway, so 7, 8, and 9 year olds can't even use that part of neopets. I'll tell you what though, if you can tell me the correct answer to this weeks lenny conundrum(it's called a conundrum for a reason, no child could figure it out) then I'll admit I'm wrong and buy you ANYTHING under 600 cash from the cash shop.

EDIT: I almost forgot, frozen means your account has been "iced" and you cannot log on or use it, and if someone tries to view your profile all they will see is a message stating that this user has been frozen. I'm not exactly sure what a permanent ban is, but if you've been iced by TNT(the neopets team, and yes they chose that particular acronym on purpose, their avvie is a stick of dynamite) for breaking a rule, and you believe that you were wrongly frozen, then you can contest the freezing by filling out a complaint to TNT. I don't know if you can do that with gaia.

What about thyroid diseases?
I've got hypothyroidism.

Well, weight loss is a sign of hyperthyroidism.
You really should get to a doctor and find out if it's anything serious.
Thyroid diseases aren't something to mess with.
