Dark Angel Rai CrystalMind Rai, are you joking, or serious? I can't actually tell. My friend has a 5 year old daughter that is obsessed with Hannah Montana. Hearing her sing is absolute torture for him. well.. Hanna Montana DOES have more charisma than McCain... If she starts getting an interest in politics and losing her interest in shoes and push up bras... I'd be worried... Jk

Dark Angel Rai Priestley Dark Angel Rai Knatalie9 I personally, think that we should always be watchful and aware, to all countries. Because my vote goes to that the anti Christ probably won't be from America. But we should always be aware and informed on what to look for, so we are not so easily decieved. Well I guess McCain is the anti-christ since he was born in Panama. Hawaii is a US state last I checked. stare Uh, if McCain was born in Panama, how is he able to run for office? It's a minor technicality. He was born on a military base...in panama. Not exactly on US soil. If he wasn't born on a military base then he would've been illegiable. Again it's a minor technicality. Well, legally, all US military bases are US soil for the duration that the military base exists.
However, I don't know what Panama has to do with Hawaii.

ryuu_chan Well, the government in the US is finally saying the word 'recession' because the citizens keep saying the word 'depression.' But, despite the horrors of Bush's terms, the horrors to come if McCain gets elected and the insanity of his VP, my vote for anti-Christ still lies with our favorite Terminator actor. I'm only mostly kidding. When he was elected in California, and people were starting to say he should be elected president, those little hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. But either way. We won't know until the end. All we're really doing here is speculating and making pot-shots. Which is fun in itself. mrgreen Well, he wouldn't be the first actor-turned-President, that's for sure.
A 'depression' is basically a sustained recession.
Whoever becomes President will have to work hard to fix Bush's 'mistakes', unless their intention is to make even further 'mistakes'.

But you raise a good point about the birthplace of Obama. Isn't there a debate about the authenticity of his presented birth certificate?

But you raise a good point about the birthplace of Obama. Isn't there a debate about the authenticity of his presented birth certificate? Yeah there is but I think it's stupid. Here you have is a black man raised by his white mother as a Christian. I think people can't get over the fact that his father was/is a muslim so that must make him one too. It's like saying my dad is an atheist so that must make me an atheist by proxy. They have no proof of it. Along with his grandma saying that she was in Africa at the time of his birth doesn't neccessarily mean that Obama was in Africa, you don't HAVE to be at the hospital at the time of birth. It'd be nice but it's not neccessary. It makes me wonder where people get their info and why they have to come up with outlandish stories in order to smear someone's name. I thought we are more civilized than this. This is 2008 not 1950. /rant Sorry for the rant but this kinda thing annoys me to no end.

Well, I think the misunderstanding involves more than just the whereabouts of his grandmother, which, if I'm not mistaken, is irrelevant to a birth certificate unless his grandmother was his primary carer. If I recall correctly, the misunderstanding is partly over the fact that the doctor who signed the presented birth certificate was not present at the time/location of birth. This would suggest that the presented birth certificate is fraudulent.

OMG, how did this discussion turn into a political one?? xd
Though, I have my own reasons for believing that Obama is the Antichrist, and it has more to do with the way he's treated than anything he's done. confused

The anti christ will be revealed when the Lord comes back for us. What business is it of ours to be worrying about this? God has it covered. As it is, in the church age, we are holding back the anti christ. We should spend time worrying about helping others find salvation before the time comes when the anti christ IS revealed.

I think we should be worrying about helping others and leading them to Christ. But at the same time, be on our guard. Because the anti Christ will steal and destroy many of our fellow brothers and sisters, as well as keep others from being saved. So we should be doing both.
