I was born with an English name, and my last name got sort of Europeanized, but my original last name is/was Wei which is Chinese, though I have no idea what Wei means.

 Mizuki is my real name(My last name will be kept a secret. c: Hint: Its the same as Ran's in "Meitantei Conan" roflmao.). But everyone calls me Alysia in my school(my middle name).
My pet peeve: So many people say "You should go by your first name! Its so pretty! Why don't you like it?" My response: "I like it. I think its relatively pretty too... But only when pronounced /right/. It sounds ugly when you guys butcher it."
So really, just, leave me alone about my name. Don't ask me "how to say it." I gave you guys an easier name to pronounce for a reason.
/bitchmoment. D: Ah, directed to the idiots at my school who constantly pester me about it.

My name is Tai Xi. (Tie your shoe, and she is a fatass.) I wait for my name to come by when we have substitute teachers doing role call, and I always know when they pause, look around, and everyone in the room snickers. Sub: T-- Me: Alex. Sub: No, it says tie chee. Me: I'm Tai Xi, call me Alex. (Why Alex? I have no idea, but multiple people have called me that name before I introduced myself.)
Hetare Alysia, that's pretty. I would go by my middle name if it wasn't something so plain like Anna. u_u;

 anime_tomboi Uwaaah~! I know EXACTLY that same pattern/scenerio with the sub! It's so... aggravating, because its the same thing every single time. And I have to deal with it every single time. I mean, I know its not THEIR fault, but I could seriously do without the odd stares and snickers, you know?
And thank you. u//u But in all honesty, I don't really like my middle name. >_> And Anna is a very pretty name! I love names like Annie, Anne, Anna...

I hate when my name is written in pinyin form because it looks similar to another word I don't particularly like. It's funny though. Whenever I go to China, my chinese name is of no use. They still call me by my english name, Nina.

Let's make this into a game heart
My name rhymes xp Can you think of any Asian last names that kind of rhyme with Henry? It's also a popular English last name.
Big hint: It's the last name of a very famous martial artist and action movie star.
