ashlander_alpha The coolness of a tattoo or piercing is inversely related to your age. my grandmother is a tattooist, so from personal experience, that is not even close to always being the case

I'd like to get one more piercing on my right ear, maybe my nipples one day (most likely not, though that's what I said 3 years ago about tongue rings...) and someone suggested a nape (of your neck) piercing to me too. She said it's not at all uncomfourtable. =o
The next tattoo I'm going to get is the text on my signature, I'm thinking of getting it on my lower back in some nice swirly font.

Roughly translated: For those in misery perhaps better things will follow. Said by Virgil. And "perhaps" is a positive word in the sentence. A hopeful word.

I thought about getting a nape but I'm afraid my necklaces would catch on it too often. I would like a surface piercing but I hate the chance of it getting rejected by the body, they have a higher chance then other piercings.

MegaTherion777 ashlander_alpha The coolness of a tattoo or piercing is inversely related to your age. for a lot of tattoos, yes, but a family crest? that's not something that'll get uncool or that you'll regret Yes, Mega, the tats you planned to get are the GOOD sort. Unfortunately, for every family crest or symbol of national/ethnic pride, there's a thousand flaming skulls and scantily-clad faeries.

It didn't hurt me...only the healing process sucked, worse pain then the actual piercing.
