The kitchen is empty - no, nigh-empty. All the light, except for a single one hanging over a lonely table, are dark and dead and at the table sits a lone modist; the shadows making his usually oh-so-vibrant attire appear dull and dark. His sole companion is a half empty bottle of ale and an empty glass on the table in front of him and with a little yawn, he silently curses whatever it is that keeps him awake against his will at this hour.
With a silent sigh, he pours himself another glass.

Someone's been in my kitchen! Well, at least they cleaned up after themselves.
bustles about looking through cabinets to see what the pantry holds...
Hmmmm... what should I make for lunch on this cold and snowy day? Definitely something hot, I believe. But what?
pulls open the fridge and sees an assortment of veggies and a large chunk of meat
Looks like it's going to be Barley Beef stew for lunch!
pulls out Gaian sized Le Creuset pot... checks baskets and finds leftover sourdough rolls, giving one a squeeze
Hmmm. These aren't exactly fresh. I think I'll cut them in half, make some garlic butter to put on them and bake them with the butter and some grated cheese on top.

Oh! There they are!
*gathers bowls and sets them out on the buffet table, along with flatware and napkins*
Let's see how the cheesy garlic rolls are doing... Mmmm... lookin' good!
*pulls out the rolls along with the giant container of Barley Beef stew and sets them at the end of the table along with a ladle*
Dinner's ready!

*puts away left over food... tosses on apron and fills the three sinks... one with hot soapy water, one with warm rinse water, and one with cool water with antibacterial agent in it because Usagi follows the HACCP rules... proceeds to wash the dishes*

He looks over and smiles a little as he sees the sleeping Usagi and, not wanting to disturb her slumber, gently places his coat over her sleeping frame, smiles and exits the kitchen, turning out the lights as he goes*
