She gave him a genuine smile "Thank you... I wouldn't feel right compelling them to agree to anything... thats not real acceptance and if I do go along with this... I want them to really accept my choice and be happy for me."

Her smile made this all worth while. His heart did a peculiar aching that he was unfamiliar with. "Most parents want their children to be happy. I am sure that as long as you are happy, your fathers will be happy as well."

She nodded "They might fight it a bit at the beginning and Papa won't be pleased his negotiations are worthless now.. but... they'll accept it if I'm happy."

She sighed "You can't always fix everything for me... but I appreciate the offer." She glanced at the castle again "I should get inside and talk to Dad before Papa gets away from Tihalt... I guess I'll see you later.."

Ade blinked. "I am coming with you. If you think that after centuries of being without you, I am going to let you go into the lion's den all by yourself, you're very mistaken." He moved toward the door, opening it and holding it for her.

She blinked "Well... I wasn't born centuries ago so you would have had to wait... and it will hardly be a lions den. We're only talking to Daddy for now." She brushed past him and walked inside "I'm guessing the castle was a bit of a giveaway but... you should know my Dad is the Demon King... making Tihalt his heir and prince.. and me a princess. Papa was a Lord already before he married Dad so... he has very high expectations of me and my.. station."

Ade walked in after her. "It matters not to me if you are a princess or a pauper. As for your family's gain, I have plenty of money and power in my own world. I can pay whatever dowry they set."

She had a semi-relieved smile "Nah... they never made a dowry for me... its was mainly bloodline, money and power Papa was concerned about... oh yeah... and being able to handle me as a wife." She giggled at the thought of some of the past prospects and their attempts at dealing with her.

Ade frowned. "I am going to pretend you are not thinking about other men right now. My bloodline is ancient. I myself am 800 years old. Though I still relatively young in the Carpathian world, I feel it is an adequate age to take a wife. As for power, there are few mortals that can overpower me. I am very able to see to your protection and needs."

She shook her head "Not in any kind of fond way... just in a 'what idiots' way." She shrugged "That might be good enough for Papa... though your going to have to explain to him about what Carpathians are and such.."

She smiled and nodded, pausing outside a door and knocked "Daddy?"
The door opened and Yuri smiled at his daughter before shifting a confused and guarded gaze to Ade "Gali... I was worried you were gone so long. Who's this?"
"Umm.. this is Ade... I'm his lifemate.."
Yuri blinked and looked between the two "I see... come in... i think we have a few thinsg to discuss before we talk to your Papa.."
She sighed and gave Ade a reassuring smile "Ok dad.." Following him into the room.
