Tinania didn't say anything, she just simply nodded at him. She really didn't know what to say, she just knew that she was scared that something might go wrong. What if there was no breaking the bond, would she be trapped forever?

He drew away from her a bit, then, taking her hands in his and giving them what he hoped felt like a reassuring squeeze. He was no wordsmith or anything....and if he made this worse somehow, he didn't know what he was going to do.
Setting his jaw, he spoke quietly. "I wish..." he began. Hundreds of words filtered through his mind's grasp at the blink of an eye as he tried to settle on just the right wording and nature of it. Simply wishing it undone would be no good. Wishing that she was his would be even worse. Wishing that her heart was her own might make it somehow impossible for her to ever share it again.
He didn't realize just how slippery of a slope it was until he was on it. Taking a deep breath, he finished his thought quietly "...that no one would ever be able to force your heart's choices. No matter how much they wish for it."

Closing her eyes, Tinania body starts to glow faintly as she unfolds her wings. As her wings flutter, her eyes open and they too were glowing. But not the normal blue, but a bright green as she looks at Zhane. Within her body, she could feel the two spirits pulling apart. What should have been a simple job, was actually very painful.
As the glowing fade, Tinania also pales before her knees give way. Collapsing to the ground, she doesn't move at all. Her wings seem almost gray in color as well as her skin. Her breathing labor as her skin grow slightly cold to the touch.

His expression went quickly from hopeful to horrified as life seemed to drain from her and she collapsed, her hands slipping out of his as she sprawled to the floor.
"Nani...?" he asked urgently, dropping to his knees to scoop her up, his insides giving a lurch at how cold she felt as he pulled her into his arms. "Tinania??" He gave her a jostle.
....s**t. s**t s**t s**t! What had he done?
"Rose! Somebody!" he called into the other room as his eyes searched the walls and countertops of the kitchen for a phone.

Rose comes running into the kitchen, with Seiji on her tail. But she comes to a rather quick stop as her eyes widen. Shifting fast to her anthro form, she moves to Tinania as she looks to Zhane "Get Seiji, keep him calm. If he see her like this..." she remembered the last time Seiji had seen his mother like this, he couldn't stop crying.
Lifting a fur hand, she runs it over Tinania cheek only to pull it back "She not as bad as before, we need to get her into her room. Keep her warm, until her soul isn't as weak as it is now."
Seiji sat there for a moment, looking between Rose and Zhane. Tilting his head he frowns "Mommy?" his lifts his hands towards her. Why wasn't she moving? Looking back up, he starts to whimper.

He blinked at the now-anthro cat, dazed, as she gave him his instructions. Keep Seiji calm...? How was he supposed to keep a small child calm when he, himself, felt like he was going to jump straight out of his skin?
His mouth dropped open as if to argue, and then, hearing Seiji's noises of concern he bit back whatever he'd been about to say. Rose clearly had dealt with whatever had happened before, and having a panicking toddler added to the mix wasn't going to make it any easier.
He drew several breaths, trying to put on an air of calm he didn't feel as he turned to the small dragonchild, moving to pick him up.
"She's gonna be all right." he assured Seiji. "Your mommy just needs to take a nap for a little while, okay? She's really tired..." his mind recalled to memory the gesture Nani had made to him on their way into his house just last night and put a hand to his own mouth. "We gotta be quiet, okay?"

Rose carefully lifts Tinania into her arms, moving pass Zhane as she makes her way down the hallway. Pushing the door open with her shoulder, she place Tinania on her bed. Shaking her head, she pulls the covers over her body as she looks towards the bed she and Kaela sleep in. Sure enough her sister was also laying there "Kaela wake up, Tinania is in trouble."
The other cat yawns before she opens her eyes, only to blink. Within seconds she too was in her anthro form as she looks over her friend "What is going on, what happen?"
Shaking her head, Rose looks to her sister "No time to explain, I need you to go take Seiji into the living room. I have a feeling Zhane wants to be in here." turning away as her sister leaves the room, she shakes her head "I don't know what the wish was this time, but it had better been a good one."
Moving into the kitchen, Kaela pauses only to chuckles as Seiji was mimicking Zhane. Shaking her head, she holds her hands out towards Seiji "Come here sweetie, were going to play." when the dragons nods, and slips into her arms. She hugs him close as she looks to Zhane "Go ahead, you need to be with Tinania."

Zhane gave Seiji over gratefully to Kaela, feeling like he was going in ten directions at once as his eyes remained firmly affixed in the direction Rose had gone. "Thank you..." he said absently as he broke into a brisk walk that tried not to be a dead run down the hallway, his eyes scanning doorways until he caught sight of the honey-brown of Rose's fur and skidded, turning the corner abruptly to enter the room Nani had been laid down in.
"How is she, any better?" he asked, stopping short of the bed, finding himself filled with some sort of dread he couldn't explain. He'd done this to her....he hadn't even known for sure if trying to undo whatever damage had been done might make things worse, and he'd done it anyway.

Rose glances over at Zhane before she nods alittle "She'll be okay, she weak but she is also very strong. She will get pass this." pausing she shakes her head before looking back at him "Zhane, what did you wish for? It had to be something big to cause this." looking back down at Tinania, she mews lightly.
Tinania just lay there, her breathing was slowly almost to the point she didn't look like she was breathing at all. Her skin was still almost gray looking in color, but around her cheeks they were slightly flush which was a good sign.

He watched her a moment and then pulled his eyes away, closing them, having a hard time looking at her in her current state without barbs of guilt raking over him.
"We..." he began, swallowing through a dry throat as he forcibly got a grip on himself to keep from breaking down into a mess of nerves. "We were talking about the last wish someone made. He wished for her to give him back his memories and to belong to him....and she didn't want to do the second part but had to grant it anyway."
He stole a brief glance at Nani's dormant body. "She said she couldn't undo it by herself so I said that....I could try if she wanted."
And if I had it to do over again, I would've left well enough alone...
"I wished for nobody to ever be able to force decisions like that on her again."

Rose sat there for a moment, lost at what to say. Normally she was against Tinania granting such huge wishes. Shaking her head she actually place her hand on Zhane's shoulder "That was very brave of you, to take a huge risk Zhane. I just hope that your wish worked Zhane." stepping away from the bed, she turns as she makes her way towards the door.
Pausing, she looks back over her shoulder at him then smiels again "Why don't you stay with her for the night? Watch over her? Kaela and I will take care of Seiji." turning away she slips out of the room heading back down the hallway.

As she left him alone with Tinania, Zhane remained where he stood for a moment, falling completely silent as he listened to the faint, nearly-inaudible draws of her breath.
At length, he gingerly seated himself on the edge of the mattress, watching her for what felt a long time. The pallid tone her skin had taken on and the dull grayness of her wings was heartbreaking as Rose's words pinged about in his head disjointedly....almost mockingly.
That was very brave of you to take a huge risk
How was it brave when what he'd been risking hadn't even been himself? He reached out, finding one of her hands and clasping it in his own, trying not to notice how icy her fingers felt on his skin.
"I'm sorry, Nani...." he whispered.

Sometime after midnight...
Tinania continue to lay in her bed, her wings flutter slightly. It took awhile, but the color had finally come back to her. With her breathing normal, she opens her eyes only to shut them again against the candle light. How long had she been asleep? Opening her eyes again, she shakes her head as she moves her fingers alittle. When she felt the pressure of another hand on her own, she looks towards Zhane "Zhane.....?"
Laying on the ground was Kaela and Rose, between them on at least a few blankets was Seiji. His own body covered in a blanket as well as fur.Yawning, he turns to lay on his side as he hugs Rose's tail close to his face.

He didn't know when sleep exactly had won out over keeping his vigil. The last thing he recalled was a clock, somewhere in the house, chiming eleven.
He was half-sprawled on his side from where he'd been sitting, the arm not attached to the hand that was clutching hers curled beneath his head to pillow it on the mattress. As she stirred, however, he jolted awake, sitting up abruptly, twanging the cramp that had formed in his neck from the odd posture and not caring.
"Nani...?" he whispered, blinking blearily as the candlelit world came into focus in the darkness.

Tinania turns her head towards Zhane, a faint chuckle coming from her "You did it..." sitting up slowly, she clenches at the bed as she feels the room spin on her. She must have been out for awhile to feel like she been knocked out. Giving Zhane's hand another squeeze, just to make sure he was still sitting there, she looks towards him "You broke it..."
