Heather was back at her caravan after the talks about the fortunes. Amkia had finally drifted off to sleep and Kala was amusing herself, that was untill she suddenly looked up and stared at the door, her green eyes narrowed as the voice was heard.
Heather stood up and tried to push Kala out the way but it didn't quite work and as she opened the door Kala rushed out to the place where the bobcat was hiding.
"Kala!" Heather gave an aplogetic look to Altaira as she rushed over attempting to pull Kala back from the other cat? "He yours Al?" She looked over her shoulder briefly still fighting to get to Kala.

Tufted ears flicked back and a growl came from Sindri's throat. The larger cat was female and not of his kind. He didn't wish to fight, there was no need too. But he would not be messed with. Wind Wheels was marked as his. Sindri's mother just had wanted to visit...
"He's my flint." Altaira moved beside the cats, keeping an eye on Kala. "Need a hand? Though I don't think Sindri will let me pick him up right now."

Kala snarled and looked viciously at Al to warn her to keep away. Her green eyes could look rather scary as Heather had found out.
"I can't pick Kala up, she a bit too big!" She sighed. "I can't stop her from doing anything, I always get frightened that she is about to eat me! He is beautiful though, congrats!" She then looked at Kala and deepened her voice a little. "Kala, stop it." Kala just turned and snarled before heading towards the bobcat. She didn't like the idea of another feline being around.

The bobcat could snarl too and loudly for all his smaller size. Well, there went the idea the two felines could be friends, Al guessed. She didn't know if she wanted to interupt. Her son was standing his ground, if uncertaintly. She however, was a bit scared and worried by events so far.
She wasn't his kind, she'd take larger prey than any he would touch, he hadn't marked her wagon...clearly wasn't a male-female issue...why...?
"Thankyou. Though perhaps I should come back with him later. I didn't want these to to fight, I was coming to see you and Amkia."

"Don't go. She won't hurt him. She needs just to make her place clear, if she can get him to submit to her then all will be fine." As she said that Amkia woke up and started to cry as Heather wasn't there.
"Come on in, I am sure those two will sort themselves out. How ever much I fear Kala, I know she isn't a killer, your boy is safe even if they fight, which, I doubt." Heather then turned to go in and pick Amkia up. She rocked him in her arms and cooed a little before placing him back on the bed.
Kala just stared at the smaller feline. Here eyes locked on his and her body tense.
Stand down...stupid cat..

Another growl came, and golden eyes sparked. "If you're sure." Altaira followed into the cart, anixious shy smile in place again. So long as her new son'd be alright. It was just a pity he couldn't meet Amkia. He was such a dear little thing.
"Hello to you too Amkia."
Fine! But over there is mine, and that's not a request. You're not going to bully me out of my new territory and besides, it is my family's.
Sindri would have lashed his tail if it had been longer as he turned and stalked away. He'd go sit in the cart, curled up on his mothers pillow.

Kala pounced him as he turned and dug her claws into his back. Hissing she wanted to make it sure who was boss, she cared not where he went or where he was as long as he knew who was boss.
"Kala will be in soon, just wait! Would you like a drink?" She smiled as she cut some bread for her little one.
Amkia chuckled at the sight of the other girl and started chuckling happily!

This face remained angry and while his claws were out and he was tense, he let her hold him for the moment. Submission or as close as she'd get.
Altaira showed the young angel-like being her rose-stone pendant, since most young ones liked playing with the shiny thing.
"Yes please."

She got off him and then pushed him to her wagon making sure he went inside. She wasn't going to get blamed for him not going in, oh no. She wasn't stupid!
Heather smiled, "Anything particular? I make these strange fruit things for Amkia, you could have one if you want?" She placed the bread to the side and started to whisk some chopped strawberrys.
Amkia looked at the pendant and giggled a little reaching out for it.

Whatever.
The long legged bobcat wandered up into the caravan, nochanlent. Sitting by Altaira out of the way he started to wash himself. And yet still he'd prefer if he was friends with the larger cat. But it was her card to play.
"Hmm, the fruit drink sounds nice, thankyou. Anything I can help with?" Al dangled the pendant closer, so Amkia could get it if he wanted. Nothing to break and too big to swallow, it was fine if he played with it.

Kala followed him in and sat in the doorway where she watched the outside like a guard dog.
Heather looked down at her and shook her head. "She is a strange creature... that Kala. Always has to be in charge and not to be messed with, at least your boy is ok!" She smiled and then looked at Amikia and answered her question.
"Oh your doing everything needed! Keep Amkia occupied, he still a little weary around Kala." She smiled as she finished off the drink, putting other bits and pieces in it to thicken it up a little. She then passed a glass to Al and put a straw in one for Amkia.

She paused to take the drink with a quiet thanks and a smile. Al also took this oppertunity to lay a hand on her son's head, comfort for her or for him it was hard to tell.
"I think my boy is abit proud and also dislikes to be messed with. But then, our youngest children are both cats."
Al let the babe take her pendant so she could take a drink in peace. Her friend's eldest was such a good child. She hoped her son'd grow up to be so good. And that the Banya birds squawks meant nothing bad for him.
"Oh! And Sindri caught a young coney earlier. Would you like some of the meat for your meal tommorrow?|

"Lets just hope that the two cats dont fight then... Kala has size and weight in her advantage." She sighed and then shook her head, "Oh, thanks but Kala killed a deer earlier, its round the back of the caravan!" She chuckled a little realising how useful Kala could be.
Amkia took the necklace and played with it happily, chuckling every now and then!

"Plenty of meat then! I think Sindri would only kill a deer if he had to have food desperately but he'd do it." Altaira laughed, good naturedly.
"Anyway." She took a sip and fell silent. She was too happy at heart to really worry and beyond rabbit meat she'd nothing to offer her friend.

Heather smiled as she helped Amkia to drink his drink but she ended up drinking the rest of it. He was only small and couldn't drink all that she had made, which was fine by Heather, she loved this strange drink she made quite regulary.
