A hot blush flooded Evan's cheeks, and he shivered softly. The nape of his neck had always been sensitive, and he sighed sweetly, closing his eyes to rest as he nestled himself firmly against Kay.

Kay did no more kissing, and so in time, both men fell asleep. In the morning, Kay was the first to wake. He immediately cleaned up and went to the kitchen, beginning to make a simple breakfast with what he could find.

It took Evan a long time after that to wake up -- it took a lance of sunshine fallling in his eyes to make him so much as stir, with a grunt. His head ached and he had a crick in his neck, and he sat up with a groan, awake before Laial as usual, and staggering toward the kitchen like a zombie, looking for coffee, eyes still half-closed.

Kay was already there, a cup in hand. Everything had been made, and now it was all a matter of keeping the food warm.
"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He thrust the mug toward Evan, smiling slightly.

Taking the cup, Evan tossed back a deep belt of the hot, fortifying coffee, then huffed, shaking his head and opening his eyes finally, to rub the water from them. "Slept... like a baby. Ouch." Absently he rubbed the cramp in his neck.

Kay just smiled and walked behind him, deft hands moving to massage said cramp.
"Good, I'm glad."

Hissing a little at the fingers in the tender spot, Evan finally, after a moment, melts beneath Kay's hands, giving a bubbly groan into his coffee. "Mmmmmnph."

"Oh, really? How articulate," Kay commented with a little chuckle, 'I was very comfortable beside you." Well, technically behind, but that wasn't really something you wanted to say to someone.

"Really?" murmured Evan, not feeling very articulate at the moment. "I was comfortable too... I'm too tall for that couch though..."

"Really? I'm glad..." Evan couldn't resist leaning back a bit into Kay, sighing and looking to one side. "... You don't regret it, right?"

"Of course not," Kay said with a little smile, and then went back to massaging.
"Granted, Hilda may chase me with something...hard and painful for not coming home for dinner, but that's well worth it."

"With a middle-aged Armenian woman, it's all good," Kay said with a smile, again leaning in to kiss the back of Ethan's neck. He wanted to see if he would react the same conscious as he did in near-sleep.
