Zai looked up at the moon in the dim light. Her pale skin, white eyes, thin face with a long neck and shocking purple and light blonde hair looked even more dramatic than usual. "Slightly ironic, actually.... how the moon looks. Anyways, ya want the long or short version?"

Nightshade checked his pocket and grabbed some nightshade. Then stared at the moon as a strange feeling fell over him as usual so he quickly looked away before anything happend again" would you like some nightshade? I got plenty. And if you dont mind i would like the long. But if you dont want to tell the long you dont have to." Nightshade said as he couldnt shake the feeling that staring at the moon gived him.

"Some nightshade would be nice." Zai said, then thought for a moment, still looking out the window, then turned to him. "Well, I lived in a nice family, only child. My father however, was a jerk, and mistreated my mom... who gave her life to raise me and educate me, not just on facts, but on morals. After a few years, my father got worse as a drunk, and addicted to drugs. She lost it, and it hurt, so I killed him. They charged my mom with murder, and she took a poison to kill herself in the court room. I was taken into a foster family, and soon ran away... ultimately ending up as who I am today. Long story in short terms."

Nightshade hands some nightshade to Zai. "One question. What makes it possible for you to eat things like nightshade. Why doesnt it kill you like most humans?"

Zai again took off her mask, putting it on the table, and ate some nightshade. "Long time exposure to several toxins, chemicals, poisons and gases. There are few I actually have issues with." For once, she was actually talking in proper English, which she had not done in some time. It took less effort than the way she usually talked actually.

Nightshade could feel the feeling coming back. And he knew it was gonna happen again. He could feel his skin burning as it hardened. It started to look like scales. "I see now. Do you like reading?" Nightshade asked out pure coreasity. Nightshade ate some more nightshade. "And if you ever want some nightshade just grab it out of the chest up on the third rafter. Just dont open any of ther other chest and please dont touch my staff. Unless you think you can handle the power of my staff."

"Thanks, and alright. I do enjoy reading, mainly books on forensics and anatomy in relation to different chemicals and substances." Zai answered simply, resting her head in her arms on the table and looking at Nightshade.

"wow... I like to read fiction."Nightshade said as he laughed. His skin went back to normal. " Nightshade looked at Zai's eyes and saw a world of knowledge and experieance behind them.

She tilted her head slightly, seeing his expression change, yet said nothing for the moment. "...what all sort of fiction?"

Julian walked into the room after listening to the end of a song he liked. He looked up. "Crap. I didn't realize it was a full moon." He said, unwillingly changing.

Zai looked at him, hmmm... never noticed... is he the kind to keep his mind when changing? "Kid, ya ok?" She had seen different lycans change before, so it didn't really bother her.

Nightshade slowly backed up against the wall as Julian changed. "Ive had some bad experiences with lycans on full moons. They dont tend to like demons." Nightshade stamerd with fright in his eyes.

"And ya most fiction. I read books really fast. A 900 page book only took me about 12 hours.
