 Miraldae barely flinched as Lior vaulted over him and placed her weapon to his throat. "It won't happen again, m'lady." Miraldae said, pushing her staff aside and walking past her and taking the lead again. "Besides, you could probably take me out from behind, right?" he said with a small laugh. She had about as much of a chance of killing him from behind as she had of killing him from the front, however. Long and hard hard Miraldae trained with his weapon to acheive the level of skill that he had, and now he almost didn't need his senses to react. He could just sense a threat and his body did the rest almost automatically.

Lior watched as Miraldae passed her. She lowered her staff and continued after him.
I could take you out anywhere. she thought to herself. She wanted to blurt it out, but Lior feared that Miraldae would try to murder her again. So she shut up.

Miraldae walked in silence deeper and deeper into the caves. Every now and then he glanced over his shoulder to make sure Lior was still following him as they traveled. Within a few minutes they had reached their destination, the western mining center. "Here we are." he announced unceremoniously. Looking around the center he noticed several shades lurking in the shadows. "Did you want to fight or mine?" he asked, turning around to face Lior.

Lior smiled.
"Fight." she said. Lior ran up to a few shades and ran them through her bo staff like a shiskobob. She let them slide off, as the blood dripped onto the cavern ground.
"The rest is for you." she said, gesturing the the remaining shades with her right hand.

"Leave me the big load, why don't you?" Miraldae said with a small laugh, drawing his sword, which was no longer glowing, and running up to the rest of the shades. He slashed clean through the first one before it could react and dodged the second one, ramming his sword through it's stomach. He spun and tore his sword out through the shade's side, useing the momentuem to slice through a shade trying to get him from what was previously his back. With a flourish he flipped his sword and stabbed backwards, getting the last shade with slashed at Miraldae before falling, cutting his cheek slightly. Miraldae stood up straight and sheathed his sword again, walking back over to Lior. "Done." he announced.

Lior turned to Miraldae, and put her hand on his face.
"Good." she said, as she wiped the blood off his cut. Lior walked further into the mines, inspecting the rocks and tapping them with her staff. She listened for a hollow noise, meaning the rock had no ore in it, but heard nothing from inside. Lior bashed it open.

Miraldae flinched slightly as Lior touched his face to wipe the blood off. "Thanks..." he muttered quietly as she walked off to search for gems. He followed silently a few feet behind her, not interested in the riches in these mines. "So, how rich do you plan on getting?" he asked with a small laugh.

Lior shrugged.
"Not sure. I don't know if all the gems are real or not." She looked around and sat down on the floor.

{{What i miss???}} Ian yawned and stood up streching looking for the other two...He wanted to know what cat blood tasted like...But he just ignored that and walked a little more calling out to see if they were nearby...

((Basically they went into the tunnels and Miraldae went cray and tried to kill Lior.))
"Some of the gems aren't real?" Miraldae asked with surprise. He had assumed that all the gems in these mines were real. After all, who would take the time to plant fake gems. "Hey, did you hear something?" he asked suddenly, looking around. He thought he had heard the sound of someone speaking.

Lior's ears twitched.
"Yeah, just now." she said, her head turning to the side. She looked back and forth.
"Where'd you say you left the vampire?" Lior asked Miraldae, noticing that Ian wasn't there.

"I thought he was with you?" Miraldae replied as he noticed the vampire was gone as well. "He must have diasppeared before we were attacked by the goblins." he reasoned. Not that that helped them any. The vampire could be anywhere in these caves for all they knew. "Hey, if you can hear us, head towards the western mining center!" he called out as loud as he could.

Ian skipped in the cave humming to himself...<Ohhhhhh I want Blood blood blood. Yes i do!> He sang to himself then holding his stomache...He was thirsty...His ear perked and he skipped to the voice...

Lior grabbed Miraldae's shoulders.
"Are you out of your mind?!" she cried. "You're a human, I'm a cat. He's a vampire." She squinted her brown eyes. "We don't stand a chance! Even if we have exceptional training and strength, he could kill us! With one bite!" Lior knew she was overreacting, but she already had her run-in with death today, and quite frankly didn't want another. She let go of Miraldae.
