Skie quickly took her shot. The were started to laugh then coughed, he looked up at her surprised as she walked towards him. "Silver bullets." She said with a shrug as she put a second one in his head. "Information can be so expensive." She stepped over him as she replaced the .45 in her holster and walked into the door the Were had come out of. "Inform Darianel one of his high rollers will not be returning to the table." She said to the guard stationed there. Before he could get a grip on her she shifted out of his reach and jumped out the door. By the time he made it outside she was gone, the dead Were at his feet.

Gegu looked at the dead gambler, then thought carefully about telling Darianel, who wouldn't be understanding "Damnation...." he muttered, picking up the Were and tossing him over his shoulder.
He trotted through the tunnel he was escorting the Were through, the damned woman lying in wait for them at a dooway. Gegu found a broom-closet, an odd thing to have in a tunnel, and shoved the Were in it. Promising himself to come back and then tell Darianel, he shut and locked the door.

Kai sighed and stood up, pulling the hood of his midnight blue cloak over his head. Moving swiftly and silently he quickly entered the city and walked down the street. The streetlights just beginning to come on as he walked. Turning down a street he spotted a store with it's lights still on and plenty of people in it. He headed towards it, knowing he could easily blend in with the large crowd. As he entered the door he noticed it was a candy store, mentally groaning, he quickly blended and just observed the people around him. He enjoyed to watch others reactions to everyday life, and he new that the best place to do that was in the mist of it. Just because he was a dark elf it didn't mean he was cold and distant... At least not when he wasn't on an assignment anyways.

"Tsk. Can't you let a girl have some fun, before making her leave?" Hinata frowned and ran away from the den. She led the guards to a dead end and took out an SMG."Would you like to crawl back Darianel with or without your heads?"

Rem cleared his throat before beginning his report."Matron Weddow secured herself with three assassins: the usual Kai, myself, and another that I challenged and left. The guard Kai is my only concern at the moment. The Mistress will use any methods to get rid of rebels, even myself. Before, I can get to her, I will have to get rid of Kai in a way that the Mistress will not learn of his death before I rid the world of her. I have no information of the other two at the moment."

The two guards sneered at the little elf "You think we don't have any protection against such means of death dealing little girl?" one laughed, snapping his fingers and begining to glow slightly. The other did the same, but another spell activated, a ball of pure, impenatrable blackness dropped over them and Hinata. None of them could see, but the guards had an advantage, living in the dark tunnels had sharpened their hearing far beyond that over a normal elf's.
They sweep into the globe, one to Hinata's right, the other to the left. Even if she could defend herself, she'd be caught anyway.

The five murmured amongst themselves, weighing the choice's pros and cons "We could strike at the Lolthel..." the Were-rat said.
"No, they're not bothering us, and I doubt that the Matron Weddow will strike anytime soon....." the man snapped, a little uneased by the news that the Lolthel meant them dead.
The goblin leaned forward in his seat "We should gather more information on the other two before we decide what to do"
The other two nodded in agreement, though the Nymph seemed less than happy about the continual draining of her fortune to keep the vampire quiet.

Kai spotted two elfs talking across the counter, sliding back he listened in. His enchanced hearing allowing him to hear over the human's voice and pick them up. Appearently a D'Anturie had been by eariler to *cough* informing them of their protection plans... Kai frowned slightly. He didn't approve of this particular branch of enterprise, but the High Mistress and her family, and less importantly, the heads of the other familys deemed it nessecary... So Kai obeyed.

Skie answered the phone without saying anything. A voice on the other side talked after a moment. Her frown deepened when she heard what he had to say. So the little vampire was playing for both sides. Well it was his right, it was also why she had canceled the contract. She would not be forced into a situation where she would turn into a target. The voice asked her if she planned to stop him. She rolled her eyes and clicked the phone shut dropping it in a waste basket as she passed one. She had already taken out their assassin that was keep tabs on Darianel. She owed no obligation to that woman, let her die. The only obligation she had was to her bank account.

She frowned as a light elf bumped into her while looking at a piece of paper. She hissed at him pushing, him out of her way harder than necessary and kept going. As she made to move past a candy store something inside made her pause. Looking a bit closer she spotted the familure figure and rolled her eyes. She didn't believe in coincidences. She tapped the glass lightly and motioned for him to come to her.

Kai turned at a tapping sound and spotted the hired gun from earlier. Kai groaned internally as he headed toward the exit. Silently slipping out the door with a group of costumers he walked over to Skie. "Can I help you with something?" he asked, his voice even and emotionless. So much for not running into anyone way out here.

Skie glanced around them quickly and backed into a dark ally. It would do no one any good if her information became common. She turned to him and pulled her hood down a bit more. She moved her hands quickly Do you sign?

Kai raised an eyebrow at her. In which language? he signed back, as he stepped into the dark alley after her. He really hoped this was worth all this trouble.

Don't be a show off. She again looked around to ensure they were alone. Rembrandt is not what he seems. If you are smart you will get him away from Mistress, before he replaces her. She watched around them carefully listening for anyone that might be ease dropping and kept her hands partially hidden in her cloak.

Kai narrowed his eyes, I knew it! he thought as he silently cursed himself. Kai had never really trusted the vampire... Something had just never settled right with Kai about him. His working with the rebelion isn't he? he signed, already planning on how he was going to be able to do deal with this quickly and quietly.

Skie touched her finger to her nose to indicate that he was correct. I won't work with someone who is using that to gather information on me. I will not be killed that easily. She hoped he got the hint from her words. She had nothing against him and didn't like the idea of seeing someone with his level of talent killed off by a vampire.
