My friends, and even my boyfriend knows. They could take it or leave it. But my parents don't know, and I want to keep it that way. xd

my parents dont know. my school friends do, they were the ones that got me into the wonderful yaoii-ness of yaoii. but some of my friends i've known for, like, my entire life dont really know i am practically in lurve with it

All my friends are yaoi lovers... so hellz yah they know. And also, because I enjoy being defiant, I tell the world when I like something society doesn't widely approve of. Like I've told my mother and father.
Mother's reaction: *at the first she though the Ryou/Bakura pic was lesbians XDDD* o.0 where did I go wrong? Just don't share it with us...
Father's Reaction: ... ... That's a guy... and that's a girl... *ignorant as usual*
Grandma's Reaction: It's those damn commies fault for crrupting you!!
And so the result is...
my room is covered in yaoi pics i don't have to hide, my computer is filled with pairing picts and fanfics, and my door (god forbid in my dad's eyes) is COVERED and LAYERED with these pics... yup... it's all about the yaoi...

some of my friends like it with me, others are accepting that i like it and some just don't care or know. i never felt the need to bring it up with my parents so they don't know eather

Well at my school, in my grade I am the only fanatic I know.
Marikz2Kule shares my love though. surprised heart
And My dad is major homophobe, so have to pretty much hide everything from him, via endless pit of folders. With innocent folder title such as 'Endless smut' and 'classic banging'...okay no I just title it doujin, tis safer, and when they ask what it means I say (Thanks to Marikz for this one) Cake.

You actually must thank Kyomuffins for that one... when she bought a shirt that said 'I heart yaoi' at a convention... her parents asked her what it meant. With shifty eyes she quickly responded 'IT MEANS CAKE' so therefore... Yaoi=Cake... and there are plenty o' stories behind that one as well... So if you're a fan of cake... (the actual kind) be VERY careful when you use that term around certain people *coughs* who know what it means. We might get the impression your brain (like mine) is in the gutter 24-7.

I'd say some and I mean SOME of my friends know that I like yaoi but I don't trust them all. I mean many of them happen to think I'm gay just because I'm a man and I like that stuff. My parents will NEVER know because they'll pull that whole 'where did I ever go wrong, why's my seventeen year old son gay!?' thing. You can't trust everyone with this kind of thing. Am I right?

my mother knows... doesnt approve but still loves me my dad knows... that was pure hell! im still in shock he still loves me my friends... all know. some dont care, others think im weird, and a few others agree when i say its hot! hell, i got one friend to go from disliking it to begging me for fics and pics of our fav pair yay puppyshipping!!!!!
