Calum felt his stomach tighten and then jump at Syd's words. Thoughts that violate the PG-13 setting whirled in his mind as he stood there, just staring at Syd. He shook the thoughts away and flashed a wicked grin, "I look forward to it."

Syd's tail flicked, as he took a drag from the cigarette, before walking past Calum, smirking at him, and grabbing some dry grass that was placed randomly throughout the sand. He then brought it back to the pile of logs as he pulled out his lighter and caught the grass on fire before throwing it on the logs, his tail swishing excitedly as he waited for the whole thing to go in flames. Once it did, he threw his cigarette into the flames, and went back over to Calum, leaning on him slightly and nuzzling him.

Calum returned the nuzzling with some of his own while sliding an arm around Syd. His ears flicked as he listened so the snapping and crackling of the fire.

Syd sighed, gazingover Calum lovingly. Leaning in, he kissed Calum lightly on the corner of his mouth before nuzzling him again, "I love you..." He muttered, his tail wrapping itself around Calum's.

"I love you too," murmured Calum as his tail twined with Syd's. He fell silent and simply soaked in the other's presence. From the way the light from the fire seemed to bounce of Syd's hair and give him a glowing orange halo, to the way the stars seemed to shine in his eyes. It was all stamped in Calum's mind, so that he could look back at the moment whenever he choosed.

His eyes were alight with a strange orangey blue hue as he looked into the fire, content for now, though, for somereason, the fire made him become a little bit sleepy, or maybe it was the cold. Either way, he shivered slightly and yawned.

At the shiver, Calum tightened his hold on the other male and rubbed his bare arms. "Cold?"

He nodded, "Don't worry about it though..." He muttered, "I probaly should've dressed warmer."

"We have that extra blanket Syd..." Calum trailed off as he looked back at the blanket they had eaten on.

Syd nodded, "Yeah..." He contimplated denying the need for it, as he squirmed a bit closer to Calum, though he figured Calum wouldn't appreciate him getting sick, again. He nodded, "Lets get it then..."

Calum placed one last kiss on Syd's cheek before reluctantly stepping away from him and heading back to the blanket. He bit back a shiver, his body already missing the warmth of the fire as he moved farther away from him.

Syd shivered, folding his arms close to him and staring into the fire again, yawning.

After staring down at the blanket several seconds, Calum decides to drag the whole thing back over to Syd and closer to the fire. He bends over and grabs the corners, then drags it over to Syd. He scoops up the extra blanket as he stands up straight again, unfolds it, and then wraps it around the other male's shoulder. "Better?"

Syd nodded, smiling sheepishly, before reaching out from under the blanket and grabbing Calum, pulling him under the blanket with him. He then wrapped an arm around his waist and nuzzled him.

"Good," murmured Calum as his arms slid around his love's waist. He returned the nuzzling with some of his own and slid his hands under Syd's shirt to rest on the lower part of his back.
