She baulked a little at twisted plans, but smiled softly. "If ti will help, I will learn." she said, hoping she could live up to those words. "I trust you enough to know you wouldn't put me in danger."

Jayce nodded. It certainly would be a bad idea for me to go with you. Unless you can find someone else around here that Brashck doesn't hold a grudge against, it would have to be alone.

Jayce pondered the question for a moment. I remember having a scuffle with him in the village at the foot of this very mountain. No doubt you may find him in the castle cometary or in the forest somewhere digging up a grave or two.

Jayce had a sudden thought. My friend, Lucien Draklus hangs around the tavern. He can come with you if you feel you need a good fighter close by. Just tell him I sent you and you will find him most courteous.
