((Mmm...Teriyaki...That's one of my favorites too but I was thinking something a bit more traditional, not that I have any idea what a normal traditional dinner is in japan...I thought of miso soup and some rice but I don't what else...I guess I'll have to take a look on the internet...T.T))

(( xp well... Tempura is very known and appreciated - although I must admit I'm not particularly fond of it... - it consists of vegetables and seafood previously coated in flour and egg batter that is then deep-fried and served with dipping sauce; Katsudon is deep-fried pork over a bowl of rice with soy and egg; Nikujaga is like a home recipe, is like a beef and potato stew but cooked in a soy broth; Sukiyaki is a famous dish also, but its kind of hard to explain... you put in a pan, beef, soy, sugar, onions, mushrooms and tofu... and eat it by dipping the cooked ingredients in a raw egg... ))

((They all sound so good...Why the hell can't I live in japan?! Thanks a ton, I'll get to work ^^))
More aromas were flooding the kitchen as Tansen continued cooking. the miso soup was sitting on a stove next to a pot of rice and coming along nicely. Tansen was currently washing some veggies to make tempura with. It had been so long since Tansen had cooked in his kitchen but it was clear that he was happy to be there again. After setting up the ingredients for the tempura, he set them aside and began making a large pot of nikujaga. He quickly prepared it and placed it on a stove which was next to the one with soup and rice. "Phew...I haven't cooked this much in a long time, it feels so nice to be back in the kitchen..." I guess it's a good thing that I didn't get the place torn down after all. He began whistling again as he continued cooking and for the first time since he had been back, Tansen felt like he was home.
((You guys can come and chow down anytime now...I think it's gonna be funny considering every place in the house is covered in dust and the kitchen is a sparkling utopia of clean...Now, LET'S EAT!))

But it's kind of expensive, so... I can't go as often as I would like to... That's one of the reasons why I learned how to prepare a few japanese dishes xd ))

Mizu sniffed the delightful aroma of delicious food from the kitchen below. She looked behind her, and saw Michiko. "Mmm, it smells delicious, let's go eat. While we're at it, I'll ask Tansen for some mattresses for you, okay?" Mizu walked past Michiko, and headed for the door She walked downstairs, careful not to fall this time.
Mizu entered the sparkling-clean kitchen through the front room. She saw Tansen making food over the stove. "My, Tansen, your cooking smells amazing!" Not to be rude, Mizu took a bowl from the cupboard, and served herself some Miso soup. Before she went to go sit down to eat, she turned around to speak to Tansen. "Uhmm, Michiko decided to sleep in my room tonight. Do you happen to have any extra mattresses? And, I would love to make our next meal, if you don't mind." She smiled, and walked over to the dining room to eat.
She didn't begin eating without the rest of the group at the table, as it would be rude.

MockaDash So, what's your name??? I'm MockaDash of the 1st squad... Mock said with a smile, as he exhaled some smoke... He noticed Toshiro inquisitive eyes, staring on his camera and cigarette You don't know much of the real world, do you??? I don't recall my past life here... But I know I had one!!!... I've been dead such a long time... But I tend to investigate and seek knowledge of human society and evolution!... It makes me feel like I still belong, you know???
This is a camera, by the way... he said, as he picked up his camera and handed it over to Toshiro... It "draws" instant paintings of whatever you point it at... You just have to click this button here... And this is a cigarette... You know what this is right??? I much prefer my kiseru... But I guess thats outdated here on Earth... Rolling tobacco was the closest thing I could find...
I tend to get nervous while I'm on Earth, and this soothes me... He said, as they approached a main street, full of people... The previous times I've been here, I didn't wore a Gigai, so no human beings were able to notice me... I must admit... This time, all this attention, is making me nervous!!!... Toshiro looked at the camera with interest in his eyes. "My name is Hitsugaya Toshiro... Vice Captain of Squad 11. It's a pleasure to meet you MockaDash" He smiled at Mock and looked back at the camera amazed at the rate it drew pictures. With such great accuracy as well! "cam-er-a" He said aloud. Listening intently to Mock he smiled. The knowledge he possesed about the human world was astounding! He debated whether or not to ask him about the mysterious trigger in his room that lit the lamp. Along with it, the bottled light in the glass. What made it run? "So tell me Mock... What are those mysterious lights in my room run on? It lights up with no sign of spiritual energy from Soul Society. What sort of Kidou is it?"

MockaDash smiled at Toshiro... The light without a flame??? he asked, referring to the lamp, and let out a small laugh That's not kidou, my friend... Unlike us, humans normally don't rely on reiatsu or spiritual particles, in order to make apparatus work!!!... They mainly use a different kind of energy, than that of spiritual particles, that they call "electricity"!!!!!
I really can't tell you much about its fundamentals, since I don't know them either... But they do seem to use this "electricity" of them, for a wide variety of purposes... Apparently, this form of energy is strongly connected to their present survival on Earth!!!...
Mock pointed at his camera, that was being held by Toshiro That camera also uses it, but it comes from a different source... Sometimes the source is a switch, other times there are these strange puncture holes in the walls, where they attach one end of a special string to it, and the other end at the apparatus... And then, there's this "battery" called thingies that they use, in similarity to this here camera!!!...
Mock stopped to smell the captivating scents of different kinds of food and dishes, that were all around them, in the main square... I'm getting hungry!!!... Do you suppose Tansen has returned with the groceries??? Maybe dinner is already being served!!! Mock stomach growled We should head back!!!... Don't you think???

(( Hey Mocka, Toushiro, if it would make your guys conversation any easier, think Bejamin Franklin! Electricity = lightning. I'm sure lighting existed no matter how long ago you lived XP And it lit up the sky, so say they put it in a ball and lit up the room as electricity...? Just a suggestion ))
:Without glancing back, Suri could tell that it was Asuma who had landed behind her and spoken. It was not a matter of any particular skill. Since she was used to being trained as some form of a ninja, she was usually fully aware of things in her range beyond simply the sense of sight. On top of that, as a member of the kidou division and heavily reliant on reiatsu, Suri was more aware of most people's reiatsu than they might guess. Asuma had a strong reiatsu, and he was probably the strongest in the group after Tansen. Tansen's reiatsu was on such a different level that it was hard to mistake the two. Michiko was strong too, but her reiatsu had more of a feminine trace to it.
Following Asuma's line of sight, Suri sighed quietly, a happy sigh, not bittersweet or painful. A round ball, beaming a iridescent white light to the Earth hung above their heads. It reminded her of the Moon Festivals often held in her home country, where cakes were baked to represent the full moon that symbolized the fall harvest. Those were one of the few happy memories she still retained, and she cherished them, although she did not cling to them like a drowning dog.
"Yes, it is quite a night," Suri murmured happily. "I hope it helps you find some peace."
Taking a deep breath, Suri could sense some food being cooked up in the kitchen. A bit to her disgust, it was Japanese food. She had never been one to waste food, but after so many bad experiences before, she was not eager to take up Japanese food again. Back in Soul Society, she had cooked dishes more relevant to her home country, avoiding eating Japanese food wherever possible. Maybe she could get away with eating just rice tonight.
"I think we should go join the others. It would be unfair to make some of them wait," Suri stood up slowly, tying her zanpaku~to sheath back onto the metal studded belt that hung at her waist.
By "some of them" she was thinking more about the girls. Maybe some of the guys would wait too, but she was fairly certain the girls would think it rude to eat without everyone's presence. With one last fleeting glance up at the moon, Suri's eyes fell back to the ground, judging the distance of the jump from the roof to the balcony.
"See you in a bit, lieutenant Asuma," Suri bade him, taking a plunge and landing gracefully on her balcony before re-entering her room and walking downstairs to the kitchen.
As she had thought, she grabbed only a bowl of rice, trying carefully to avoid the Japanese dishes that Tansen had prepared. His cooking smelled wonderful, but it was not enough to tempt her to eat Japanese dishes unfortunately.
"Hello Mizu, Captain Tansen," Suri greeted each with a bow before setting her bowl down at one end of the long rectangular table.
Rummaging through the drawers and cabinets, she managed to find chopsticks and forks for everyone, and she set a set down at each table placing along with a napkin. It was not meant to be rude. Growing up using chopsticks all her life, Suri still preferred to use forks on some occasion, so she thought it would be more polite to give each person a pair of chopsticks and fork, rather than hoard a fork all to herself.:

As deliciously scented aromas wafted from the kitchen, Razil stood up and wandered the mansion and grounds, not wanting to go to dinner just yet. He found Mocka showing his camera and explaining basic science to Hitsugaya and decided to be helpful. "Hello Mocka, Lieutenant." he said, nodding in respect to Hitsugaya. " couldn't help but over hear your conversation, and I was thinking. If you want, I could give you a run-down in modern science and physics, it could help on our mission at some point." He looked up at Hitsugaya with a knowing gaze.

Toshiro caught a whiff of the mouth-watering smells of food the same time Mock found it. As Mock suggested to go back, Toshiro wished to explore a bit more. He debated whether or not to go back with him and decided against it. "No thank Mock... I kinda want to see the city a bit first okay? Just head back without me. I'm not that hungry." He said with a smile. The truth is... he wanted to get something for Kuraime. Hoping that she wouldn't have missed him too much in his ansence. He waited for Mock to respond. Hoping that his character isn't too persistant when it comes to proper nourishment.

MockaDash made a sad face... He was indeed very hungry, and thinking of the possibility that Tansen could be making some Ramen for dinner, made him drool a little!... But, he wasn't one to let a new companion alone in the city... This could turn out to be reckless...
Toshiro-san, I must admit I am indeed hungry!!! My reiatsu is always giving me this eating urges... On top of that, giving the possibility that dinner may already be served and that our fellow shinigamis are waiting for us before starting to eat, it would be rude for us to make them wait even longer...
Furthermore... I don't think venturing further into the city, would be a good idea, at this time... Don't forget that we're here on a very important mission, and that our advantage, is that "our enemies" don't know about our presence... yet!!!...
If we stay here too long, our reiatsus could attract hollows... Or worse!!!...
I really think we should head back, at least for now, Gento-san!!!
((Gento is a pun on toshiro... toshiro is the male noun for winter and gento - among other things - means severe winter... Hope you like the nickname I just came up with xp ))

Toshiro laughed at his new nickname. He would have rather gone to see the city, but through persuasive influence, he lost under the feeling of peer pressure that forced him to turn around. "Okay... hahaha your persuaded me." gento-san? He thought quietly in his head. Hesmiled at the amusing nickname as he quickly paced back to the mansion along side his new friend Mock. As he walked, he began to see the large house and the irresistable smell of food being wafted toward his direction.
