Lore smiled, in his mind's eye he could imagine taking the children here, they would have loved it. Even though most of them were grown just the idea.... and who knows... maybe they could take in more little ones. It was so strange now after all to have... so many adult children.
He closed the door silently behind him as he padded after Elnara like a cat, as he watched her reaction, grinning to himself.
"Maybe next time... we'll bring some of the children," he suggested softly.

Elnara laughed softly and continued on.
"Next time," she agreed wholeheartedly. "Though until we see how big this house is, perhaps we shouldn't say who we'll take, or how many. After all, this house won't be nearly as big as the inn ... or the manor."
She giggled and looked around. This second room, which was to the side of the first, was the room with the entirely glass wall: the sitting room, with a couch, a love seat, and two comfortable arm chairs for sitting, a table in the middle, and a fireplace in the outside wall (not the glass wall). It had been pre-decorated for them with paintings, knickknacks, and little odds and ends, and on the whole it looked rather homey - at least, Elnara thought so.
"And the window faces west," she murmured softly, stepping closer to the glass. "We can watch the sunset from inside if we like ..."
And yet she could see that the curtains could close over the windows if they wanted to keep the sunlight from blinding them, or if they wanted some privacy.

The glass wall, Lore thought as he studied the set up was the most amazing thing about the house. The sitting room was just perfect for cuddling up which was something they were probably going to do a lot of.
"And with the porch we could easily watch it outside," Lore added softly, "So perfect for watching in both summer and in winter."
Both seasons did amazing things when it came to sunsets, which was something he was looking forward to.
"Let's go see more," he urged her gently tugging a bit, "There's probably more surprises."

The next room they encountered was the kitchen, which was just off the sitting room. It was a large one, with an area meant specifically for the preparation of meals (stone oven, fireplace, cupboards and even an indoor well, though it was small) as well as another larger area with a dining table with room for six. In the middle of the floor was a trapdoor that Elnara suspected went down into a cellar, where, if Arwen was to be believed, there was already quite a stock of food for them.
"Cozy," she smiled, squeezing Lore's hand. "It looks nice ... small enough to be perfect for just the two of us, but large enough for company if we have any."

And they would probably get visitors every once in a while too Lore thought to himself. He realized absently he was going to have a bit of trouble cooking (there were some library habits that just died hard if not at all).
"This is amazing," Lore murmured, "And so much to do..." he laughed sheepishly and admitted, "It would be nice just to stay here for the rest of the day. Just here, or for a while but there's also the need to visit and see what else has changed."

"A need?" Elnara repeated, looking up at Lore with mischief-filled eyes. "We're going to be here for a year ... is there really such a rush?"
She placed both of her hands on his chest, then ran one finger along a seam on his robes. "We don't have to go out right away, after all," she smiled at him. "And after all, we do have to move in ... make this house truly our own, at least for now."

He coughed a bit and smiled sheepishly keeping his eyes on her.... on her faces... well actually her hands, but her face too, because her eyes sparkled when she got a bit impish, "Well no... there is no rush that is true."
Lore supposed it was just hard to remember that this place... for the year was theirs for all purposes. After all he never expected it at all.
"And we did bring quite a number of things we thought would stay in the bags..."
Since lack of room, or so they thought, but now they can fully pack away their clothes, readings, anything else they brought....

Elnara giggled and smoothed out the shoulders of his robes again. "That's true," she agreed warmly, "we did. And according to Arwen, it's only midmorning here, we could just do our visiting and exploring this afternoon. After all, it would only make sense to make sure that the house is ready for sleeping in by the time the time comes for sleeping."
She adjusted her bag again, then reached for Lore's hand once more, lacing her fingers with his. "Come on, let's see the rest of it."

Lore grinned as he walked along side Elnara to see the rest of the house. He wanted to peek in on what would be their room, though wihich room it was, he didn't know... yet.
"That sounds like a fine idea."
He kept her close, even though she was alreayd pretty close what with them walking side by side inside a house.
"The bed room?"

Elnara giggled as she poked her head into the next room that came along.
"Looks like," she agreed, stepping inside the room. It was rather large and had a double bed against the middle of one wall, a long closet against the opposite wall, and two tall chests of drawers, one on each side of the bed. The window had shutters instead of curtains, and they were open to let in the sunlight.
She set her bag on the floor at the end of the bed, glad to finally have somewhere to put it.
"I think it's perfect," she murmured, her eyes shining brightly as she moved in a slow circle to examine everything in sight. She stopped with her gaze resting on Lore, and she giggled softly.

Lore was going to have to agree this was perfect (maybe more than perfect if such a thing was possible). He chuckled a bit taking it all in.
"Yes, it is," he murmured as he moved to join her setting his bag down along side hers.
And a lot of space, he mused, they really had thought of everything.
"So..." Lore murmured reaching up and brushing his fingers against Elnara's cheek, "Shall we unpack and get everything set up?"

Elnara nodded her agreement, but before she knelt to get her bag again she stepped closer to Lore and slid her arms around him, laying her head against his chest.
"It's all so much more than I would have ever dreamed of," she murmured, closing her eyes happily. "We are blessed to have such families as we do."

His arms surrounded her shoulders as he gave a 'hmmm' in agreement. They were quiet blessed, everything had been perfect, and for that they had to thank the families, which was now... his family. He had to do a mental double take on that.
He swayed a bit from side to side in a way of a dance, "A bit surreal in a way," Lore surprised, "But much better than a dream."
He chuckled a bit, if he had been anyone else he might have picked her up, but he didn't trust himself from keeping from falling over by doing so.
"And this better than a dream is just the beginning so let's unpack and see what other surprises are in store."
In store, also meant just how people had changed and grown, and there was an interest in that as well.

Elnara giggled and nodded, pressing her lips against his jaw before stepping away and picking up her bag once more.
"I suppose if we want to make sure that we have time to visit everyone," she murmured softly, "we should only unpack the essentials now ... we can get the rest later, or tomorrow, whenever we have the time."
She set her bag on the edge of the bed and opened it up, and she began to take out her clothes, stacking them according to the drawer that they would eventually be going in. She lay her dresses out on one side to be hung up in the closet.

Lore agreed as he set out his robes and the few pants and shirts that he had (when the weather proved to be too humid for a robe to be comfortable). He also set out on his dresser in good reach the lotion so he wouldn't burn (poor man... he still did though at least now he didn't always smell like a coconut!).
"We'll have time," Lore grinned, "As you said."
Books and writing tools could wait, along with whatever nicknacks he had on him. Once he was done setting everything out he checked his work.
"I think that would be about it."
