A Burned out London Arena, kinda like from Reign of Fire. Every X amount of Turns a dragon comes down and tries to eat or burn one of the fighters.

I always thought this stage was cool. Could do something like this:

Also, for H2H gais, bring back the Ring, but fancier. Or a big squared tatami.

Anyone see Troy?

The opening scene with the two giant armies facing each other down across the Thessalonian plain?

Have that as a stage. It could be one of the "static" arenas, flat ground, with no advantages for anyone. You just have to duke it out while these two crowds of thousands of soldiers bang spear to shield and shout and cheer. They're the closest thing to a ring out - they block off the front and back with their lines.

Then, have the same location as a stage later in the tournament - but it's post battle, and there's tons of bodies, discarded weapons and armors, wandering (and dead) horses, and flocks of carrion crows picking the bodies clean.
