[[XD Sorry. Yeah, that'd be interestin' wouldn't it?]] Connor entered the ice cream shop with a somewhat nostalgic gleam in his eyes. As he passed through the door held open by Eliza, he brought his right hand upward to grasp the tip of a would-be hat and gave the motion of tipping it in thanks. The far left corner of his mouth quirked upward in a playful manner as he did so, as it remained even as he slipped his hand back into it's corresponding pocket.

Artemis responded quickly "Yup" to Eliza's question before she was carried off with the rest of the group. When they got there she put her hand her back and twidled with tips of her hair, she looked like she was having trouble deciding, though naturally she was going to pick a Piña Colada smoothie, it was her favorite. She got up to the cashier "I would like a Piña Colada Smoothie, please." the cashier responded "That will be $5, please." Artemis went in to her lacy black pocket of her coat and retrived her black and white striped with a sliver leather interior, Andy Warhol wallet, in which she retrived 5 dollars. "Here" she said fake smiling as she handed the cashier the money. Then she stepped over to the side waiting for her smoothie to be called out. She went back to Kat, "Can I see squeaky?"

"Arte..." Eliza pleaded after play-curtseying to Connor. "You have to let me pay next time!" She giggled a bit. "It was supposed to be my treat!" She walked up to the cashier who, today, happened to be Mrs. Walker. "Hey, Ms Walker! I'll have a Strawberry Creme blend! And I'll pay for everyone else's, too." She added and handed Mrs. Walker a small pile of money. "Keep the change." She said quietly, then turned to Reyna, Connor, and Kat. "Go ahead, guys. Whatever you want."

"Of course!" Kat giggled as she thought about their little nickname for Mouse. She normally called him Mousey, or, by his name, Mouse. She took Mouse out of his little bag, opening it from the top, and clipped the leash on him. She knew it was OK for her to have him in the shop because Mrs. Walker was pretty much awesome, and she loved Mouse as well. Kat put Mouse on the ground and ordered a coconut and lime smoothie, giving thanks to Eliza for paying. Mouse was sniffing everyone and jumping up and down with excitement, school was his favorite time of the year too.

Connor shook his head and chuckled softly. "This'll be the only time you pay around me, Eliza. That's a promise." A playful grin played upon his lips as he laughed once more and moved to the counter. "I'll just have a coffee. Black." When it came down to it, he still desired that bitter taste that came along with tea. By nature, he gave a polite smile toward Mrs. Walker. Proceeding to turn around, he faced Eliza and positioned his right arm over his stomach and his left around his back. Keeping a gentlemenly posture, he bowed in a charming manner and gave a playful grin. "Thank you, Eliza."

Eliza giggled and blushed ever so slightly when Connor bowed. "Quite the gentleman." She nodded in approval. "And don't even worry about it. I offered, so I gotta hold up my end." Once again giggling, she winked and quickly looked away at Mouse yapping, running, and sniffing, avoiding Connor's gaze for a time. She looked up to see four drinks sitting on the counter waiting for them. Her eyes flashed with a smile and she took her blend with a satisfied smile plasteres on her face, and she went to sit at a booth, beckoning everyone after her.

Connor returned to his former position with a light blush across the bridge of his nose. Slipping his hands back into his pockets, he laughed quietly and kept his gaze on her for a few more moments. As dense as he could be at times, he could see that she was avoiding his gaze. And it amused him so! A playful grin still laden upon his lips, he turned to grab his drink. Taking a brief sip of the nearly scalding hot coffee, he followed the others into the booth. Opting to sit across from Eliza, he set his cup on the table with an appreciative sigh. Mm. Coffee.

Kat laughed at her dog, then she led him to where her drink was, on the counter. Kat then followed Eliza, and Conner, with Arte in the rear, to the booth Eliza picked. She looked up at Conner, just to see that he was staring at Eliza, she let out a small giggle. She was afraid that he would hear and glare at her or something, so she looked at her drink and took a sip. Then she sat down next to Eliza in the booth Eliza chose, looking at her drink the whole way, trying not to giggle.

Eliza slid into the booth with Connor following, sitting facing her. She smiled, a bit shyly, and sipped through the straw of her drink. "So," was her attempt to start a conversation. "Have you met Mouse before?" She nodded her head slightly in the small dog's direction, still trying to keep eye contact with him, though she could feel her cheeks turn pinker the more she tried. She then shoved Kat in the ribs a bit harder than she meant to, hearing her muffled giggles.

"Ow." She whispered, after Eliza elbowed her and then jokingly glared at her. At the mention of Mouse, she picked her little dog up, and he licked her face. She looked up at Conner then, to hear his response, rubbing her side where Eliza elbowed her.

Connor glanced curiously between Kat and Eliza, one eyebrow risen. He didn't quite understand why Kat was giggling and was just elbowed, but it was amusing. Almost as amusing as the blush building in Eliza's cheeks. Cute. Turning his attention toward Mouse, he smiled playfully and shook his head side to side. "No, I don't believe so." Nodding his greeting toward Mouse, he grinned widely and spoke in a charming manner. "Pleasure to meet you, Mouse." Immediately after the words left his mouth, he laughed softly and turned his gaze back to Eliza for a few moments before returning it to the dog.

Eliza giggled and looked at Mouse, then met Connor's gaze. I've got to stop this. I'm acting like a silly little girl with a crush... Eliza looked away as Connor did, and internally cursed herself for acting so childish. She needed to act civilized. She reached down to stroke Mouse's small head thoughtfully.

Connor looked away from Mouse with a smile still worn. Focusing his suddenly piercing gaze unto Eliza, an eyebrow rose curiously. "So, how's y'all's summers been?" While he was genuinely interested in finding out about their summers, he was also hoping for an opportunity to somehow make Eliza blush.

"Well, nothing too interesting until about three weeks ago, when they found some new evidence in my dad's case, but they haven't told us anything else." She looked at Conner while saying this, and then looked over to Eliza waiting for her to say something.

Eliza shrugged. "Boring..." she muttered. "I broke up with clingy Carl." She smiled a bit at her alliteration. "Nothing much else. Hung out with Toni, at her new apartment." Eliza's gaze didn't leave Mouse until her last word she had said, where she looked up at Connor, who was raising his eyebrow. She grinned, but looked away before her cheeks could warm.
