Kevin yelled out in surprise as the barrels fell over, hearing the 'man' he jumped back and the snake hissed and hid in the pocket of his sweatshirt. Not immediately seeing through Maddy's cosume, Kevin stood in a defensive stance, arms in front of him. Sighing as he realized it was just a teenager, he relaxed his arms. Knowing that just the snake in his pocket would probably scare the 'boy' away, he approached and asked. "Who are you?" Standing with his legs together, he waited for a response.

'Matthew' stood up he was slightly taller, well Maddy was in her brothers sheos anyways. sighed and hung his head low, pulling his hood down. She was imitating Kevin form earlier this eevening. He smirked lightly. "You know, it's polite to give your own name before asking someone elses..." he whisperd coldly. he looked up, her black and blue eye's were coverd by green contacts. "I, am Matthew, and you are?"

Kevin sighed as the 'boy' took Matthew's hood down. Looking into his green eyes without revealing his own yellow eyes, he replied even more coldly. "I'm evin." Why he had told this man his name, kevin didn't know, it had just seemed like the thing to do. It was the snake who warned him that Maddy was somewhere nearby by hissing slightly and tigitening it's grip on Kevin. He didn't suspect the man in front of him though, and just thought that the girl might be walking down the street. Taking a step backwards, he knew that he must avoid being seen by Maddy at all costs. "I should go now... It was nice to meet you, Matthew." He said, adding emphasis to the name as he turned and continued to walkdown the alley.

Matthew smirked. "Aw your snake remebers me.." maddy whisperd as she pulled down the hood. "So your names Kevin, easy enough to remeber. And it's not nice to meet you, we've already met.." Matthew pulled his hood down revealing long brown hair she took out her contacts and smiled."I should pretend to be my dead brother more often, he seems to get answers out of you quicker." She whisperd.

Kevin gaped as Maddy revealed her true self. "Y- Your sick!" His voice shook as he realized that all posibilities that he was a hulucination were gone now. He was frustrated, he wanted to kill her now, but he must control the impulse... He had a job to do. Pulling his handsinto his sleeze and relaxed his tense jaw. Focus... Focus... He thought until finally, he looked up at the girl. "I am what i am, now leave me alone and never think of me again." He said simply, hoping that she would follow his directions... he knew it wasnt probable.

Maddy sighed and looked at him apoligeticly. "A lie, it takes two Kevin..I told you that I wasn't Matthew now tell me the truth. Why are you here?" Maddy rolled her eye's and smiled halfheartedly as she pulled off his hood. "You know, you have a nice face, you shouldn't hide it. Now, honesty, please?" Maddy knelt down and got under his face her eye's boring into his asking him to please tell her. "Please.." She whisperd in his ear. "Ha! Forget about you, oh Kevin your highlairous, I just want to get to know you...I'm nto gonna expose you and whatever you may be here doing. I don't care, I want to know, for the sake, of just knowing..."

Kevin sighed as his hood was taken down, it didn't matter. "Maddy, I already told you what I was. Tha fact that you didn't believe me... Well, that's your fault." Frowning slightly as she got closer and looked at him, he was forced to look up at the sky. Her eyes boring into him like that almost...hurt? Yes, that was the right word for it. It was his turn to ask. "Please just leave me alone, I am a human and you will NOT get anything else out of me. Give it up Maddy." He added icely as he returned his gaze to her face. "And your wrong, you want to tell someone." Kevin said as he touched her warm [almost burning to him] cheek with his rough, icy finger. He thought that the feeling of his almost scaly skin might scare her away, he was going to try all of his little tricks.

"Liar.." She whisperd. "Your lying I know you are, I've seen you talk to the snake I know thoes aren't contacts. Your something else and if you are human your speical. I have no one to tell.." She hissed. "I have a dead brother and a family that hates me.." She whisperd, she smiled gently."We'll see, I might get soemthing out of you, for all you know in the distant future we could be friends. Although I doubt that." Maddy's skin turned frosty. She grabbed his hand and pulled it away from her face. "It's nice to meet you Kevin.." She added as she shook his hand. Smiling at him, "just a suggestion, don't touch my face.."

Kevin grinned slightly. "Maddy... Did you just say I was talking to the snake? That's... That's just crazy." Laughing he looked up at Maddy. "I think your the special one..." He taunted further, ignoring the fact that Maddy was glaring at him. Sighing and pulling his hand away, he siad. "The same to you." Pushing both hands into pockets, he grinned.

Maddy's features hardend he rbody became cold. She held his gaze, her eye's turning back to blue, icy cold and emotionless. "LIAR!" She shouted she poked him in the chest and glared once more. "You think I'm stupid! Well I'm not, stop lying to me. I'm done with liars. You people wonder why I don't do well with people, because they all think I'm cruppted and insane. Well Kevin, I'm not, I just have a keen eye. Tell me the truth..." She hissed through clentched teeth. Her hand on the knife in her back pocket she smiled. I wonder if I can get him to kill me, maybe he'd rather befriend me, that'll be a site, if I could get closer to him personally maybe he'd tell me. Maddy leaned in close to him and handed him a knife. "Well then if you think I'm so insane, why not kill me I wouldn't want to spread the insanity and hurt anyone, and we both know I'm capeable of that.."

Kevin sighed as the knife was pressed into his hands. Wide-eyed after the fury that had just passed through her mouth, he pressed his plam to the flat side of the knife softly. "I should, and you have no idea how close you really are to me doing exactly that." Sighing again, he clenched his teeth. Remember, there's more imprtant things.. More important things... more important things. He knew that if he killed her now, he would have to go through the trouble of hiding her body, cleaning the scene and all of that stuff. Dropping the knife, he spoke from inbetween his clenched teeth. "No one will believe you, they think you're already crazy anyways. This will be the final straw. They'll put you in a padded room Maddy." He warned. "You'd better not talk about me."

Maddy sighed and smiled as he dropped the knife. Now to eat away at his heart. Maddy picked the knife up and put it in her back pocket. She nodded greatfuly. "I already figured that one out Kevin, that's why I'd have no one to tell, then again I have no one to tell int he first place." She sighed and kissed his cold cheek gently. "Thank you Kevin, for not killing me.." She whisperd as she looked at her shoes.

Kevin almost hissd as Maddy's warm lips touched his cheek. Jumping back and shaking his head gently, the snake stuck his head out of Kevin's collar and stuck it's tongue out at Maddy, sniffing her. "What was that?!" He yelled, outraged as he rubbed his cheeks furiously. His left cheek was quite red now, it had taken a bit of rubbing to get the 'essence' of Maddy off. "Never, ever, do that again. I sware to you that you won't survive next time." Sitting on a crate, he pushed the snake back under his shirt where it curled once again around his chest. Kevin really liked this snake, he looked foward to making it a permanant companion.

Maddy winced as he started to shout and yell at her. She coverd her eye's and tears slowly ran down her face. She had an abusive drunk for a father and he always yelled at her. Maddy looked at him with a tear stained face. He reminded him in so many way's of the family she hated so much, yet he reminded her of the part she loved most. "I-" Maddy snuffled and chocked slightly. "I-I'm s-s-or-r-ry.." She chocked out as she burried her head in her hands and curled into a ball.

Edona was sleeping, when she felt something touching her face. With a start, Edona woke up. The scene before her eyes was pretty much the same as before she drifted off to sleep. There was the dark sky, the moon, and the stars. But there was something different, a boy's face was staring down at her with bright-blue eyes. He looked familiar... Ah yes! He was the boy sleeping on what was previously her bench. Edona lifted herself up, with her albows supporting beneath her. She sat up, and slowly lowered her legs back onto the ground. Edona rubbed her eyes, before turning them upwards to look at the boy standing in front of her, "Hi. May I help you?"
