That wouldn't really work the other way around. it can. some men, upon death, have been known to get erections. some have even been known to ejaculate at the moment of death. it's most common with hangings and other means of asphyxiation, but it has also happened by other means of death. Didn't know that.

Comic book versions are for all intents and purposes equivalent, and I don't recall a live action version of Poison Ivy that really jumped out at me.
