socks was getting more impatient as the moments ticked by. he moved from his crouched position to pace in front of the doorway. he had expected something to happen instantaneously once sarah and the male otter had given the eldest otter the various ingredients. he wasn't much used to this whole "waiting" thing. after frustratedly pacing another moment, he couldn't help himself, and he burst out, "hey, what's goin' on in there? any babies yet miz pie lady?"

The old bob lazily scratched one of her ears with a back paw (her own, thankfully). "No no, only the Mrs. needs to drink it. Granted, t'won't do you no harm to drink in. S'just a waste. Then you just ..." She chuckled raspily. "You two just do what comes natural. By this time the night of the full moon, the young lady should be 'bout ready for the next step. Then, you'll come back an' see me, mmm?"
The old bob jumped a bit when Socks bound into the room. "Goodness me. What's this little one about then?"

Abel slowly nodded and turned to Sarah, holding out the bottle. Before she could take it, though, he pressed his cheek to hers, whispering how much he loved her into her ear.
He looked up to glance at the young bobcat that had made that outburst and shook his head, smiling a bit. He wondered a bit what this next step would be, but decided to let that wait.

Sarah nuzzled Abel and nodded softly, she looked at him a long moment while clutching the potion against her chest. "I'll always love you." She smiled and gulped down the contents of the green bottle. She licked her lips and murmured softly to herself about needed something sweeter.
She looked at Hazel and smiled before she glanced at Socks outburst and giggled. "I'm afraid they never come that fast dear, don't worry if-when they do come I'll be sure to show you!" She turned back to Hazel "I can't thank you enough, we'll be back at the full moon..." She smiled and gazed up at Abel.
((Ooc: Do we wait until the actual full moon on the 29th to post their return XD?))

socks looked around at all the faces looking at him. he felt himself blushing slightly underneath his black fur. he addressed sarah, "sorry if i interrupted anything. i just couldn't wait! but....i guess this is for you and mr. pie man. so if you can be patient for just a few more days i can try to be too." he sat down next to her, his rump bouncing slightly.
(sorry so short...the real life socks keeps meowing for my attention xd *trots off to bed* )

Lovett would feel a nice, warm tingle as she swallowed the liquid. It didn't have much of a flavor; almost like water. But the warm sensation was definitely very real. She wouldn't feel at all bad from it. It certainly didn't seem harmful.
Hazel gave the little bobcat a kindly smile. "It's fine to be anxious, little kit. I expect these two will need your help in the future. Those little cubs will need a good big brother to look out for them. Someone who knows all the best spots for fun and mischief."
She turned her milky gaze back on Abel and Lovett, smirking a bit at the loving exchanges between the pair and chuckling. "You should be all right now. What comes next I doubt you'll need my help with. Nor anyone else's."

Abel nodded at the bobcat's comments, his face heating up a bit with a blush at the conversation. He smiled at Sarah and tilted his head towards the entrance to Hazel's den.
"Thank you, so much," he thanked the old bobcat, bowing his head a bit before leaving the pleasant warmth for the growing chill of the Oasis. Summer would be gone soon for fall, and then winter. It was a strange time to be having pups, but he didn't mind, wouldn't mind curling up with his children and mate on those long winter nights, until spring when they could truly return to the world.
"Thank you for helping us, Morgana. It means a lot," he said to the other angelic, smiling happily before repeating the same to the little bobcat that had helped them.
"Let's go home," he would say softly to Sarah when she joined him.

Sarah licked her lips and nuzzled Abel before smiling and nodding at Hazel with a wink. She followed Abel out and thanked Morgana and Socks in turn offering them both a treat at the pie shop should they come by. Sarah didn't care if it was winter, she wouldn't have cared if the sky was falling, as long as she got to start her family with Abel.
She pressed close against him and smiled at his words. "Lets..." She grinned all the way back to the tree.
