Hana sat at attention, but leaned over to Jonathan. "Ready for the new year?" she giggled a little bit then looked right her professor.

Dameon cleared his throat like he remembered professors doing when he was younger. With a flick of his wand, chalked writing appeared on the board behind him, and with a second flick, small cages flew out from his office and onto every students desk. "Something you wanted to share Hana?" he asked.

Hana smiled. "No professor. I was just telling Jonathan how excited I am to have you as a teacher." She winked a little bit and giggled.

Under the desk, where the students couldn't see, his feet danced uncomfortably. But according to anyone else, they would have said he ignored the comment. "Class, if you take the covers off the cages, you will find a very peculiar insect. It has to be contained with magical forces, not just this cage, because it could very well break the cage despite it's small size and lack of strength. Does anyone know what this creature is called?"

Hana shrugged and said under her breath, "Iunno, a pixie?" She touched the cage bars and stuck her finger in the cage.

Dameon nodded to her. "I wouldn't do that, it might excite yours. Anyway, class, what lies within is a Billywig. Can anyone describe what they are?" He glanced back at Hana and noticed her looking at Jonathan. Again, he stepped on his foot with the other, and twitched his heel around.

Hana slowly took her finger out of the cage and raised her hand. "Professor, doesn't it make you giddy? Kind of puts you on a high, right?" she smiled at Jonathan, then looked at her Professor.

"That is correct," Dameon said, frowning as he realized the exchange. But he pushed her out of his head and instead, saw Hana the student, not Hana the...he pushed the thought out of his mind. "They also travel at extremely high speeds, which is why the cage needs magical reinforcement. Had the Billywig stung you, Hana, you would be extremely different right now. Drunk would be the appropriate word. Class, remove the covers."

Hana removed the cover and looked at it. "Aw, it's so cute!" she raised her hand, "Can I get stung by it? Just to test the theory, that is." she fingered the caged again.

Dameon shrugged. "Just don't get stung or else I shall have to put you in my office. There is not a known cure for the effects of a Billywig except time, and Madam Omorose would just have her hands full, as she could not remove the effects." He nodded to himself. "So the spell we will be learning today is the Almoragus Charm, which might seem useless, but can save your life is neccessary. It will slow a specific person or object down."

Hana laid her had on the desk and stuck her quill in the cage. She smiled at looked a Jonathan, then whispered quietly, "Have you ever been stung by one of these? I bet Liem has.." she sighed and glanced at Dameon. She sat up a little and put her head on her arms. She sighed deeply again.

"This charm can be used during a duel and it can be extremely useful. The only thing that you cannot slow down is another curse, hex, jinx, etcetera. Now, poke your wands inside the cage a try to wake those little buggers up. try to make them run around some." Dameon started walking through the rows of desks, observing the students as they did exactly what he had instructed.

Hana stuck her wand in the cage and slid its side down the side of the bar, then she poked the insect. "Wake up, sweetie. Oh I want one. I'll have father get me one when I get home," she said to herself. She poked it again and giggled a little bit.
