it may seem funny but in our band room we cannot say "shut up" and if we do consequences follow(getting slapped on the hand by a drum major xd ) its a little dumb but its cause we use the word millions of times in one day...its like saying"hey you, hey you, hey you, yea u shut up." idk its freaky. xd

After an inncident far beyond a flutes mental sanity just the flutes are not allowed to say super special awesome. Lord knows why but our band director goes crazy if you say super special awesome and you play flute... But its prolly just for me and my friend. Oh and for Trombone Hero, did you go to the New Britan, CT show I might have saw your band there...

For us, it's loud. If we say that we need to play louder, our band director covers his ears, and then corrects us. Surprisingly, we're allowed to make fun of people. Our band director makes fun of the clarinets. it's quite humorous. He makes fun of all of us. Naturally, I wasn't thrilled when he told a piccolo joke. You know the one that's like "How do you tune two piccolo players? You shoot one." Yeah, I don't like that one.

The one thing our director will never hear us (or at least not believe)...
"Joe is right."
...Joe is our drum major whom we (and by 'we' I mean EVERYONE IN THE BAND) mock on an almost daily basis.
And any percussionists (or anyone touching our stuff) are not allowed to play 'Party Like a Rockstar' nonstop for longer than thirty seconds at their own safety from other band members and our director.
EDIT: The band itself as a whole hates the word 'Again'.

my BD absolutely hates the words creepy and creeper, which is not good for him because we say those words all the time since everyone in band is a huge creeper... haha.

We're not allowed to say "beef waffles"... it's a long story involving one band competition a couple years ago that I don't even really remember.

Well, our director can't say that in band or we might kill him...except there's four of them and only two hundred of us; we wouldn't stand a chance...wait, that doesn't make sense... lol our guard is like that to me and my freind practically clogged this one guy for saying twirl.... never agitate a girl with a 5ft metal pole lol

We can't say nor wear anything with the words "University of Michigan". My BD is a graduate of Michigan state and the biggest state fan you will ever meet. Wearing or saying the words of "U of M" could be fatal.... eek ........... xd
