Chance shrugged. Sometimes smells bothered him when he contracted the flu as well. Then they too could make him ill, admittedly nowhere near as bad as this.
He chuckled weakly. "How certain you sound..." He did not regret anything. Sometimes he did... oh yes. But this wasn't something he regretted. What he did regret was not planning it out first. Or doing some of that kind of planning with Morcanth... but it felt like an obligation, something he owed the cat. And as much as he wanted to give Canth anything he wanted... Not that. Never like that.
The waiter returned with their drinks. The unicorn smiled to him and thanked him before practically dropping his nose over it. The steam and the smell especially were wonderful.

"I didn't have anything in mind," the angel said quietly. He looked down at his hands, still not wanting to impose. He noticed the tiger glancing at the clock. First the door, now the clock. "We could do something some other time..."

"Maybe... we could get a bite to eat then. We'll have all night." His ears flicked lightly and he canted his head; oh no. Had he give the wrong impression? Tail flicking his ears went flat, "No ~" With a small smile he leaned over and placed a kiss on the others cheek. "I was seeing how long I have until we can go ~" He gave small nuzzle against the others neck. "I'm really happy ~ Really, really." When it came to Kas, he was almost always happy. Just the idea made him squirmy with anticipation.
--------------------
It seemed to be about the same feeling. The lack of planning. No matter what he wanted to sort out, what they should sort out, he wanted to drag his feet. He felt waterlogged. Kids would... be interesting. He never ever saw himself as a parent figure so it was still a hard idea to digest even though it was all right there, all in front of his face. Now, it was inevitable.
Was it supposed to be one of those things you grew into? Ears perking he glanced at the waiter as a drink was set before him. He straightened himself a bit and gave a small thank you and glanced at Chance. He gave a small grin in spite of himself. Wrapping his fingers around his drink he sighed lightly at the warmth; it felt good.

Chance was beginning to feel much better. He let the steam and the smell uplift him before sipping at it. He had to take it slow... He had to take everything slow.
After a few minutes, he looked up at Dante. He was safe from nausea for now. Hopefully, safe for the rest of the day. "I'm afraid I'm going to force us to take everything slowly. Maybe we can take that time to get to know each other."
- - -
"Oh... yeah, we could do that." There was no doubt about why the angel was blushing now. Anatu was already there; he wrapped his arms around the tiger and kissed him. "Me too... I'm... I love you Anatu, I don't think I could be any happier."

Dante let the silence hang as his tail flopped beside him. He kind of just... watched his cup; like it was going to walk away, right? It was a moment where he just sat and stared. There wasn't much in his mind so if he was asked what he was thinking, he probably wouldn't know.
A single ear flicked when Chance spoke, his eyes soon to follow. He suddenly felt it completely absurd he'd even said anything. Of course they had to get to know each other. He gave a nod in reply and glanced back at his cup, rolling it hand to hand a little. "Of course." It would be best for himself, too... Glancing back at Chance he chuckled, "We've got a lot of time to get to know each other now."
---------
Anatu's ears flicked as he felt the arms wrap around him, his purr ceasing a moment as Kas said the words. His eyes went a little wide and a faint pink tinted his cheeks before his purring started up again, lightly. He couldn't help but grin as he wrapped his arms around Kas' neck, nuzzling more, moving to take a seat again making it so it wasn't quite as awkward.
He was so happy Kas felt the same way; "I love you too Kaspar... so much." It had been a bit early to close when he had glanced at the clock but... "Want to go out now?" It almost felt unreal, and he hoped as soon as he was made to unwrap his arms, that Kas wouldn't disappear. Who said life couldn't be like a fairytale?

Something seemed to be bothering Dante, either that or he was just very tired. The last was something Chance could more than empathize with. "Are you all right? You know we could just head home and relax or something if you'd rather."
- - -
Kaspar's eyes had also widened. There was a delay, he had not exactly intended to say that. It just came out. But now Anatu was replying in kind and hugging him. It was amazing. He could no longer tell if he was blushing or if he just felt very warm and happy. Probably the latter... it was definitely the latter. "Are you sure? You closed right after lunch..." Of course he wanted Anatu to close. He wanted to spend the whole day with him, but his customers came first, right?

The tiger's ears flicked lightly as he nuzzled against Kas' neck, quietly thinking a moment, but not more than a second before he smiled lightly, "Yes, I'm sure..." He glanced at Kas and grinned, "No harm in a day off." Especially if that whole day he got to take off was going to be spent with Kas.
-------
It hadn't occurred to Dante that he was tired even though his sleep patterns had been thrown for a small loop. He waved it off lightly, "I'm alright." He gave a small smile, though relaxing was always nice, maybe a leisurely walk was in need, "Well... would you be up for a walk?" He glanced at Chance. The outside would be nice even though it was a smidge on the chilly side.

Kaspar frowned lightly for a moment. "If you say so," he nodded, reluctantly. With a shrug and a smile he added, "I agree. It'll be good for both of us."
- - -
Chance studied Dante. It was nothing deeply probing or particularly thoughtful however. He was not in a frame of mind or in any condition to be that way. However, he did seem tired still, to the unicorn.
"I could go for a walk," he smiled. Glancing around, he flagged down the waiter. "Could I get another one to go? Peppermint if you have it." It would keep him warm and keep his stomach settled.

Anatu purred a bit and beamed at Kas. He wanted to snuggle more, he didnt want to finish up; he wanted to just get up an go with Kas. Ear flicking lightly he tilted to place a kis to Kas' jaw before moving to get up. "Let me finish up a couple things then we can go." Once he was up, the feline smiled at Kas before moving for the back to go tidy up before they left. It didnt take long before he was back to Kas, his coat on his arm along with the key to the door to the shop. "Ready?"
--------
Dante wasn't against going to relax like Chance had suggested, but it wasn't horrible weather so they could take advantage of that since it was destined to get worse as the season progressed. His ears flicked and looked to the waiter. He pondered another drink, but decided against it as he was finishing his second already. Sitting back he gave a small stretch then moved to get into his coat and get some cash from his pocket. He'd been the one who'd called Chance out from home, not to mention he wanted to.

Kaspar nodded and let Anatu go about his business, but not before returning the tiger's kiss. He got his own things together with a smile, and by the time Anatu had returned, he was ready, though seated. "Yes, I'm ready." Rising to his feet, he put on his coat and slung his bag over his shoulder.
- - -
Chance also readied himself to go. It took little time, but so did his tea. He was already pulling out some money for his own half of the bill without really thinking about it. "Can you put it on two bills?" he requested of their server. "I forgot to ask..."
(( Dante can offer to pay, Chance won't argue. This is just something he'd be doing automatically. ))

Anatu watched Kas before moving to squirm into his own jacket, tail waving happily. The keys to the shop that he held in his hand jingled lightly as he did so. He buttoned up then looked to Kas before reaching over and taking the others hand, intertwining their fingers and began to lead them out. "So... what sounds good for lunch?" Maybe something portable could be good so they could take a walk. Hopefully Kas didn't and wasn't having lingering thoughts of Chance and Dante. He wanted to be a good distraction if Kas was still worried about it.
- - -
Dante's ears flicked as he took out enough money for the both of them. Tail flopping he glanced at Chance, "I've got it. My treat sine I called you out here ~" He flashed the unicorn a small smile before looking at the waiter to insinuate the split wasn't needed. Once he had the money out, he moved to shrug into his coat.
