Amatsila stared at him unsure. Glancing at his wings then at him. "Sure," she was getting rather bored of this place. Beautiful, but she wanted to see more of this land. As a child, she hid within the forest. From many others who walked past her without notice or simply did, but she bolted for her life before they could say anything. In her heart, she wanted adventure and discovery. Amatsila started stepping out of the water. She walked away from him and shook herself. Flicking her tail in the end. Water droplets flew off. Now, his regular flutter form did not bother her no more. She was getting use to him. Before stepping onto the path where it lead to the hills, she trotted over to the berry bush and ate some. Then returned herself on the path and smiled. Waiting for him. It felt good to feel free. Rather than being stuck in the woods. She could walk anywhere in the woods and know exactly the way home. That was how much time she had spent her whole life hiding. Only recently had she been coming out of her home and meeting others. Luckily, she has not run into any demons. She tried to believe she would not, but life was just unpredictable that way.
Even though on the outside, she may seem simple, in her head there were always many different thoughts. It was like she had two sides to her. Then again, doesnt everybody have many sides to themselves. There was the shy side that dominated her personality. Then there was anger and depression. Many emotions and many different ways to describe a soquili. "What one word you would use to describe me?" She asked shortly after thinking about a word she'd use to describe him. It wasnt a complicated or new word. But one that anyone has used often or not in their lifetime. It was a true word to describe him, and it also made her feel.....attracted to him. Amatsila shook her head, and rethought. She wasnt attracted to him, she was...finding him interesting to be around.

Amatsila followed him. She let her eyes be mesmerized on his beating wings. They were so fast. And it captured her how fast it could go. Then again, she assumed he was most likely like a humming bird. Their wings were incredible. She had only seen one in her life. It had beautiful green with a bit of red under its beak. A bit of blue on its tail. The mare didnt expect him to ask her what word she'd use to describe him. She was right. She sighed. Believing that Spinel was probably not comfortable around her lik how she was with him. They have only just met a few hours ago, quite a few hours. However, she guessed he wasnt the type to open up. His smile made her smile. At least he was...trying? She wasnt sure, maybe he was just being friendly or trying to be. Or felt sorry for her so he did so. Amatsila rambled in her head over and over about what he really thought of her. She was 'fascinating', she knew that long ago, as he had stated many times. She wasnt about to say that she was none other than another soquili lost in this world. Lettting her eyes fall onto the path, she watched her step take place. Another sigh. How could this conversation not be awkward if he doesnt open up. She liked it when the other one did most the talking and she didnt have to say much but listen. Ama was a good listener. This conversation had been awkward at the same time soothing in a way.
Silence filled in most their time walking to the hills. It would still be a few minutes until they get to their planned destination. Amatsila kept her eyes down, as if she may stare, he probably glare at her. Still, she was a stranger to him and someone he just met. No reason why he should open up. She shouldn't be so friendly either, but she didnt want to be rude. Ama often tried to learn from other soquilis, however sometimes it didnt work out so well. Or she just didnt get what was going on. Like now. Not knowing why she was so troubled by just this one flutter, Amatsila tripped over a rock. One, her vision blurred as she was daydreaming in her head. Two, she didnt lift her hoof high enough to dodge and glide over it. The mare only stumbled though, she stopped and looked straight ahead. Sighed, and straightened herself up. Continued her walking with a quicker pace this time. Her eyes still kept low, still going on and on in her head about Spinel.

The mare was definetly surprised by his sudden movement. As she was still deep in thought thinking about him herself. Her face blushed as he flew just so close to her. Amatsila stopped in her tracks. She did not know what to say besides, "What are the other words?" She asked. Curious at what they were. There could be a million words for her. However, what he thought was what mattered, she had no idea why. But she cared about what he thought of her. Did he think she was strange, so strange that she was not worth being with anymore? Amatsila pushed out her low-confidence and straightened herself up for him. Waiting for the answer back. Letting her hair tilt with her to one side, as she did with her head. Ama watched him flutter in the air and she couldnt help but gaze dreamily at him. It was an awkward thing to do, but when you were the one doing it. You would not notice. All sounds blanked out as she just watched him floating in the air. Tiny as he was but...eye-catching. To her anyways. The sun seem to have stopped in the sky, as if time stopped. Just silence, nothing but the image of him, her and her thoughts.
Ama started to question fate itself. Was it a coincidence she had met him and he was sent to protect her from the evil. Or was it fate for them to meet. Why was she thinking in such strange ways. However, she did not like what happend next. A squirrel dropped its nut from a tree. Unluckily contacting with her head to ruin the effects she was having. Noise spilled back in, and she could hear the wind blowing, with birds chirping, soquilis running, and all the rest. Then there was Spinel still floating in the air. She straightened her head and smiled. Wondering what the hell just happend and also ignoring the acorn like it was nothing. She did not jump or scream and run away like she normally would have. However, maybe it was because she wasnt...herself at that moment.

Amatsila wanted to murder herself right because she had missed what he said. No, she wanted a demon to devour her. Thats how bad she felt. Ama was wide awake from the daydream and hestitated. "I was....I was...." What was she suppose to say? She cant come out straight and tell him she was dreaming....of him. No, she wasnt...was she? Ama turned pink on the face. She wanted to change the subject but that would be useless as he was not dumb. If she did....stretch the truth, it would be unhonest. She hated being unhonest. Ama turned more red after a little longer. Not sure what to say at all. She gulped and looked side to side without moving her head. Was there an excuse, one little excuse wouldnt hurt. Why was she so afraid of him knowing what she was doing? Oh right, 'cause he'd probably flutter off thinking she was nuts. Her heart started thumping harder and a bit faster. "Promise....you wont laugh or find me annoying ok?" she said with complete honesty. Stretching the truth would only make him think she was trying to avoid him at all cost. That, she did not want him to believe.
She waited for his answer back. If he replied back rudely, she would have to pick an excuse. It was just not something she was sure about. Could she say that she was watching him. Her face brightened more. Ama turned the other way and tried facing a tree. Distracting herself from him. Awkward. No, she cant let him know. It was just...strange. But he could easily assume her for something that wasnt true. Sweating was not something she did, even when she was afraid and felt cornered. Although, she was sweating now. Ama started to hop from foot to foot like a two-legger as if he had to go to the bathroom. She stopped eventually and tried to soothe herself by humming. He probably thought she really was nuts. It felt like she was being chased by a few million kalonas.

Amatsila hestitated as he anwered back. Spinel was very serious in his voice. The mare calmed herself, it was nothing to fuss over. The truth was the truth, and really theres nothing more. She was just thinking of him, he was the company with her. There was nothing big to it. Right? "I was thinking..." her words were on the tip of her tongue, but she coldn't get them to roll her. Ama hestitated more, it was just, strange. She turned around to face him. Repeating 'the truth is always the truth' in her head. "...of you." She smiled without looking up at him, letting the shorter curls in her hair fall before her face. It was an awkward thing to say. Ama expected he'll probably see it as nothing big. After all, it really shouldn't be, it was just a conversation between the two of them and really nothing else around. Thinking of him was nothing out of the ordinary. It was...natural to. Ama let her head dip lower and squeezed her eyes shut. She felt stupid. It was wrong to feel this...nervous way to a friend. Or as Ama had felt. Her face toned down but was still pink. Her heart thuds were slowing down as well. At least her body was recovering to its regularness.
The mare cleared her throat and decided it was nothing to be ashamed of. She lifted her head and glanced quickly at him, flahing a smile then turned her way onto the path. Coninuing to walk to the hills. Stopping not too far away and she turned and waited for him. Then she turned and face the front once more and whispered to herself, "The truth is the truth." Her hooves picked up and she started heading again towards the hill, secretly hoping he wouldn't leave her going alone. She wanted to continue the coversation so they werent left loose ended. She wasnt sure what he'd do.

She stopped at he flew in front of her, not surprised no more. As she knew he was highly curious at what she meant. Ama tried to think of a way to put it into words. However, she didnt want to get hurt. It was clear she knew what had happend. It was just not possible for her to believe. It felt too soon for her. In fact, she wasnt sure she was ready. She didnt even know what it really was. What this feeling really was. Ama was sort of getting sick of this whole brain cramp. Her head started spinning and she felt sort of dizzy. Silence. "I think....." boy there were a lot of thinking in their conversation. Ama chuckled at her thought. This silence was probably killing him, how she reacted was probably killing him. But most of all, this feeling was killing her. She felt a bit childish, knowing what had happend, she just wanted to share it with someone. He was the only one at the moment she could share it with. Ama rethought about that. Maybe it was best to keep her mouth shut. Ama closed her muzzle and she only stared blankly back at him. Her cheeks still rosey.
It was awkward being a bit too close to him. Ama didnt mind though. The mare stared into his eyes and it was like being hypnotised into telling him whatever he wanted. She couldnt tell what he wanted by his eyes, he often held very good emotionless pair of eyes. She knew in him he was thirsting for an answer, since he'd be flying up to her and stopping her. She took it slowly and spoke her words carefully.."I think....I have a crush on you." Done. Simple as that. Ama pulled her head back, looked down with a rather emotionless face. Then she ducked under him and continued her way to the hills. Wondering about what he thought. It wasnt a bad thing liking him, right? Plus, it was just a crush, it wouldnt go....serious right? Ama couldn't believe how she felt for him within one day. Was that possible in the world. If they had shift shaping soquilis that turned from a wolf to a rather evil skin walker, then anything should be possible.

Her ears could practicly hear her heart thumping against her chest. It felt like forever she has been walking. She listened intently for him to answer. Nothing came for quite a while, She'd assumed he had flew off or something since the beating of his wings seem to have stopped. She dare not to turn around and face him, if he was still there. Every step felt heavier, she wanted to stop but it was best to just walk away if he did not feel the same way. Just as her heart started to slow, a call was made for her. No other than Spinel's voice. It shot her heart into panic. Ama started sweating, feeling rather hot herself. Her senses tingled and everything was more noticeable. The sun felt a billion times hotter, the breeze didnt help at all, it was like blowing hot air at her. The turquoise mare finally stopped and waited. Still holding her pose, standing straight as she can. When really she just wanted to bolt for a bush at the moment. She could not turn around and face him, her body was found frozen on the spot. Sun's rays beat down on her hard, and she felt hotter as each minute, no second, passed. The beating of his own wings were heard once again. He was coming closer as what she heard. What had he wanted from her? Perhaps to say that it was too soon. Too soon for the two of them since they barely knew each other. Ama had to agree to that, she was not ready. Love, or so what it was called, was not something she ever learnt about. She was new to all this. However, Ama knew this was not 'love' completely just yet, it was just a 'crush'. A bit of attraction she had towards him. He felt right for her, he was safe to be with, which she obiviously liked. Then there was the mysterious ways of him that made her want to stick to him to just discover all those hidden points. Then his lovely compliments on her, which made her felt good about herself rather than letting her low self-esteem fill in. Yes, she did like him for certain things. Only the less takitive side of him annoyed her a bit. But the mare knew very well no one can be perfect, and that was his downfall. However, she could live with it, all the other features captured her more than how that one annoyed her. It was also a trait of his mysterious side anyways. Amatsila thought over all the things she liked about him and what she rather didnt like, it wasnt just attraction to his looks like how some soquilis took it, but it was rather attraction to him, for who he is. It was then she could start to feel the weight on her legs and back remove itself. She slowly turned and saw his beating wings which could easily mesmerize her again. Ama tried not to stare at them, but she couldn't look at him either. Now wasnt the time to doze off or daydream. Her body was at least facing forward towards him, her eyes kept low. It latched onto leaves that gathered together and that grew together on a bush. Tempting her to bolt for a plant once again. Weight returned to her body, weighing her down. As if to anchor her. God was honestly playing her. Or as she felt.
The turquoise once shown on her face was no longer turquoise but rather red. Almost as if she had gotten a really bad sun burnt but on the face. Her ears flattened against her head, but still listening intently. Waiting for the response. Expecting it was probably not good. Ama shut her eyes and turned her head to the right, letting it dip down too. Her voice was not going to return to her at this moment, she knew that. So trying to answer back to him was useless. She prayed that this whole movement of hers was a good enough answer. There was one thing she had not established with the flutter, was he easily annoyed? Ama hoped not seeing she could easily annoy him in many different ways, and simply not answering back may just be a downfall. Since now isnt exactly the time to be extreamly talkitive. So time ticks on.
