I believe that is the theory to getting one. After seeing the sick dragons that have appeared in the spamming threads I guess that the trick is to neglect it till is has about .5 days left then expose it to a ton of clicks as quick as you can.

I'm thinking the theory that it needs to be less than .1 and still not making good enough progress is good. Like I linked to in the eggspam topic, there was a case of a gold female turning into a sick one. The owner later froze her, saying she was almost out of time. The one posted in the Dragon Rescue Society post was a genderless Skywing with .02 days left (it matured into a male).
I also have to wonder what TJ did to cause his to have unknown genders. Somehow, though, I'm not sure if that can be recreated, given that apparently the gold had wings beforehand, and the Skywing didn't have his second pair before changing.
I'm not willing to experiment and risk death, but I'll help out when I can.
I think we'd be a lot better off advertising on low-traffic areas rather than a place really popular. Who knows what'll happen if too many people blab about it. Remember the Zombie Dragon!

NOW we're the three dragonateers.
But I DO think we should keep the experiment low-profile.
The Zombies were discontinued because everyone was killing dragons to get them.
If eggs start dieing so that people can try for Neglecteds,
the same could easilty happen.
Plus it's less fun if EVERYONE ends up with a Neglected.
They won't be that rare anymore.

I would like to help and I think to keep it low profile we should change the topic name to something really borning so lots of people won't come
oh and i tried to get a neglected dragon I atemped to get a drak green egg to hatch on preetty much nothing
these are the aproxement (agg I can't spell) stats when it hatched
238/108/47
so if anyone wants to try that theroy have lower stats than that

I've got three.
I'm going by two theroys.
The first is that they should have tons of views/unique views with hardly any clicks.
I hve two that I'll try throwing tons of clicks onto.
One when it gets down to about .5
the other when it gets UNDER .1

I have a dark green egg and i'm going to keep it sick at
0/0/1 untill it has .5 days left to live then give it mostly clicks and not very many view so it hatch's when it's sick
