Suddenly, the vampire had stopped. He said her name, her real name. She fell to the ground as he let go of her. She coughed and gasped for air. "How do you know my name?!" she gasped but never got an answer as he darted away. She grabbed her crossbow, remembering about the other vampire.
Slevin had held his own against Atem. However, he saw the other vampire run away, and saw Ko on the ground. She was ok though.
Atem stopped, he sensed Yugi leaving. Why? He looked over, seeing the girl with her face revealed. Akiko?! But, why? She was attacking her own friends even though they were changed!? He jumped back from Slevin. He was too puzzled to think of anything to say, so he just darted away, trying to find his hikari. Within the alleys he called out, "Yugi? Yugi where are you?!"
Slevin watched as the vampire retreated. He knew why too when he saw Atem look at her. The same must have been for the other vampire. Slevin did not know them, nor did they know him, but he knew Akiko once did. Before she lost her memory. He ran over to her. "Are you ok?" he asked her kneeling down.
"He knew who I was....." she whispered to herself catching some more breath. Her eyes narrowed, it didn't cross her mind that they knew her at one point or another. All she was concerned about was that they got away. "We should go after them," she said starting to stand up.
"No!" Slevin said in a more demanding serious voice then usual. He was quite serious about this matter. "We will not go back after them. Forget about them understand?" he added.

Yugi hid in a dark corner his eyes were wide with pain and shock. he could not here anything anymore, except his own voice as he shook violently "A-akiko.... what happened to her........ how come she can't remember?!" he was so confused as he held his head tightly with both hands. "....." was he going to go insane?

Bakura watched her and wondered what to think as he watched her. he listened then kneeled beside her. "all vampires are not like that, It might have just been a newly turned vampire not yet taught what was unacceptable," he said as he gently placed a hand on her cheek. "My dear you shall not be like that vampire if i can help it, do what i ask and you shall not be left in blood lust." he said as he sat there.
Fae shuttered when he said that. She still didn't know how he would keep an eye on her during the day. she didn't like the smirk on his lips she was nervous as she sat there.

Misarue winced at his touch and moved her face away as best as she could. ".....why do you even care one bit about me? first you want to control me, now you want to help me.. I don't get you..." she looked at him as her eyes turned from a plain blue to a more luminescent blue(like the girl's eyes off of underworld). confusion, despair, loneliness, and wonder were all mixed within the depths of her eyes.
Seto laughed "you wont be working in a room with a window so I'll be able to easily watch you from the observation room... I don't need to sleep. make your choice wisely, will you help me or be turned and have the utter blood thirst consume you and any rashional(sp) thought?" his fingers lightly traced the jawline of her face.

"I don't get this either, you are different and for some reason that makes me want to make sure you don't hate what you are." he said as he wondered what this change was about. He was scared about what was going on. "If you want i'll leave you till this evening and bring you some blood not associated with a human if you wish it," he said as he stood up he loved her eyes now they were different but he wanted the confusion,dispair, loneliness gone he wanted her happy. He was determined to make her happy
Fae didn't know what to think but her heart beat quickened when he touched her. What choice do i have? What can i do but save those that need saving. She remembered the night that Yugi had changed and how he fled after trying to bite her. Her hand went to the phantom feeling upon her neck. She missed her brother so much. I'll 16 soon and it probably wont be long before i get changed anyway why not see how long he can hold out against what ive been told is the strongest aroma that a human ever has right on their birthday She thought then said "well see how long you hold out against the sweet sixteen," she said basiclly saying she would work towards the cure.

Misarue lowered her head "... please?" she ignored his comment and went straight to his offer. she was so confused inside. should I hate what I've become? despite me not being able to help it? her now highly acute eyes avoided his because she didn't want him to see her pain. she was afraid to grow close, afraid that she'd be betrayed, or worse.... abandoned.
Seto chuckled "I'll live. after all I still have plenty of blood to feed on." he wasn't referring to her, but the other humans that were trapped within his cooperation.

"Then i'll be back soon, please you'll feel much better if you don't hate what has happened" he said as he left closing the door he remembered his night how his Sire bit him practiclly drained him and left him for dead. When he came back from uncontiousness he made his way to the shadows of a friends basement. When night came he then moved on to his own appartment and changed it into almost that basement. He shook his head and went to find blood that had been from a happy person.
Fae paled slightly as she thought about that. She shook her head and sighed. "At least let me sleep the rest of this night," she said softly she would have to rest before she started her endless and seemingly hopless quest to find the cure to vamprisim. She steeled herself knowing that tomorrow was her last day as a 15 year old and then the day after that she would be 16. She shuttered to think about what could go wrong when everything had gone wrong.

When Bakura was gone and out of her hearing range she broke the chains that bound her arms and snapped the ones that were connected to her legs. she then went into the darkest corner of the room and sat there with her knees hugged to her chest and her forehead resting on top as her hair covered her face. She was so confused, not sure if she should totally trust him or have emotions towards him for that matter. "....I don't know what to do anymore..." she whispered quietly.
"very well but there's no sense of escaping.... the window are tightly barred and there will be guards outside your bedroom door." seto untied her from the chair and led he out of the room and down the hall.

Bakura went and hunted down a pack of blood for Misarue He really for somereason wanted her to have a good experiance and not hate herself to the point of not feeding. "Where is this coming from?" he said as he grabbed the packet of blood and started back. He shook his head and opened the door to give her the blood. "It was not suspose to happen this way," he said as he tossed her the blood and noticed he had undone her chains. He smirked as he turned to leave there was little chance of her escaping now.
Fae felt like hanging her head but she would not give him the satisfaction. She walked behind him her head held high though she knew there was little chance she would find the cure at all. Who am i kidding the world did this and im trying to reverse something that was done to save it. she thought as she sighed maybe her fate was to become a vampire.

Misarue stared at the blood as she stood up and walked out of the shadows in th one corner "thank you..." she whispered before taking the packet and huddling back into the corner. she was still confused as she sat there staring at the packet. she knew what to do but was determining whether or not she wanted to.
Seto opened the door to her room, it was fairly large hand had a very comfy bed in it. "this is your room." he said calmly as he ushered her in.

"please drink you'll feel better after that," he said as he stood in the doorway. He didn't want her to feel that he didnt care. When he came in he made sure that he could still leave. He smiled when he could. No sence in them dying.
Fae was shocked by the room as she entered. She looked at the room and wondered why he would have a room like this when there was no one to use it unless he had been planning on capturing her all this time. she turned to Seto as she stood inside the room. "how? why?" she said shocked. She didn't know what to expect now. She felt her heart beat speed up slightly as she looked at Seto.

Atem looked around everywhere for him. Finally, he found him in corner curled up. "Yugi!" he said kneeling down beside him and putting his shoulder over him. It was silly to ask why he was upset, Atem knew exactly why. First he tries to bite his sister, now the one he loved. Not only that, she didn't recognize them? Or worse, did she and not care? "It's ok," he whispered, not knowing what to do for his hikari except stay there with him.
Ko backed away from him and shook her head. "Have you gone mad? Your telling me to leave some vampires alone? After we swore to be rid of them?" she looked at him with puzzlement and anger.
"Don't you ever stop to think that they were once people? Don't you ever feel sorrow?" he said trying to make her realize something.
Ko gritted her teeth together. "Don't YOU ever realize that they kill families! Children, women, old people; it makes no difference to them! They died the second they turned!" she shouted at him with tears in her eyes. She could only remember her family being slaughtered by there kind. But she could not remember anything else. "If you won't help me then I'll just do it myself!" she said spinning around to go find those two again.
"KO!" Slevin shouted. But Ko had already gone and ran into the alleyway. "Damn it," he mummbled as he followed her but lost track of her.
[[Ko isn't going to find them yet.
Also, when are you guys planning to have Yugi meet up with Fae? The only thing I could think of is once Akiko has some sense knocked back into her eventually, her and him (and Atem) can go to find her in Seto's mansion..... or something. I dunno, just an idea.]]

(hmmmmm that sounds like a good idea, XDDDDD)
Yugi huddled up to Atem "i-it was as if she never saw me before. like I was some stranger. I don't want to hurt her.... or worse.." he whispered softly.
Misarue looked at Bakura momentarily before biting into the packet and began to drink the blood slowly. She winced at first thinking it would taste all coppery but after a few seconds she blinked and her expression softened as she began to drink it more easily. when she was done she sat the packet down "why...does it taste so sweet? I use to hurt myself a lot when I was little and I would stick the cut in my mouth but it didn't taste like this." she whispered as she looked at Bakura.
Seto smiled but it quickly turned into a smirk "I planned on catching you quite a while back so i had this room set up just in case I caught you." he said smoothly. "now, get some rest, you'll need it." his expression turned blank as her closed the door and locked it while setting up guards outside her door.

"you've changed that's why its sweet and if you read the age on the packet the person had been 15 so it was close to being intoxicatingly sweet." he said as he kneeled down beside her. "are you feeling better about this, im sorry about how i did this to you," he said as he watched her facinated.
Seto had been planning to catch her for a while but why? Fae could take it no longer and let her emotions take over. She went to the bed and cried for everyone she had let down. She wished she had a way to get a message to Mokuba and the others but maybe if they found the cross in the street everything would be alright. Fae fell asleep after crying till she could cry no more. She dreamed of her brithday and how what she believed was going to happen.

"let me guess sweet 16 isn't just a saying." Misarue looked at him softly "not much.... and it's ok, I'll get use to it eventually." she stretched and leaned her head against the wall "... how long do I have to be trapped in this room?" she asked softly.
Seto sat in a room that had no windows or a way for sunlight to get into the room. he was on top of a bed as he began to think of his emotions "..... I've never fallen in love with someone so why start feeling it now?" he grumbled softly.
