GOING ON HIATUS
Spawns name: Aludra, Adelle, Adhara, and Gabriel ( and Copeka, if he isn't rehomed like it feels that he will be at this rate ).
Length of Hiatus: Unknown ( January 29 - ??? )
Reason for Hiatus: Upsetting disagreements with the owners that have led to misunderstandings and direct insults to my person, as well as an inability for compromise in the plots revolving around Lirona and Aludra's first child. If compromising ends up not happening at all or the child is rehomed, there is a high likelihood of me contemplating rehoming all of my children, as that was the one event that I have been anticipating for many of the years that I've been in the shop.
Also, in the real world: My snake, only a year old, is currently suffering from an unspecified neurological disorder; in snakes, it cannot be cured or reversed, and I have to choose between having him euthanized or taking care of him until he dies on his own. Facing this and trying to care for him despite his thrashing, spasming, and other movements that break my heart every time I try to handle him has led to me not really being in the mood for roleplaying and has left me unable to communicate my thoughts in a way that people find 'appropriate', which is probably what led to the last argument between me and the shop's staff. As you could probably assume, I'm extremely depressed by this turn of events, and predisposed mental conditions have led to this being progressed to a much stronger condition than it is in a normal situation.
So, no, I am not just leaving out of spite. I am leaving because I believe that I am not in an emotional state to interact properly when having a disagreement as is happening now and I'm certainly not in any proper head space to be able to roleplay any of my kids properly.
I'm sorry.

I'M BACK FROM HIATUS

Length of Hiatus: Very short.
Reason for Hiatus: I'm still real torn up about my snaky baby, but to avoid conflict, I'm taking Aludra off the list for growing and because I'm almost positive that his growth will definitely be a time I can roleplay after, considering how excited I've been. Hopefully, I'll get called by the crematorium soon and my other kids will hopefully come off of hiatus soon after that.

Reason for Hiatus: Recent emotional events (mentioned in thread), combined with the stress of moving house and starting a new job, have left me drained and exhausted. GOING ON HIATUS

Length of Hiatus: Now untill I get settled in from Australia. (I get back June 25th but wont get off hiatus right away)
Reason for Hiatus: I am on a study abroad trip to Australia that is research intensive and so have very limited internet access and an internet limit based on MB of data so I literaly cant be on Gaia for more than a few pages since it is so image heavy or else my limit goes up and then I cant be on the internet to do my academic research and run my data sets.

Length of Hiatus: Probably until the end of June.
Reason for Hiatus: My dog just died, like ten minutes ago. I'm having finals, (college classes end June 17th) people keep pressing me to post when I'm unable to due to muse, looking for a job, and stress as a whole. Real life's more important right now. I've got to deal with that before I can do any sort of plotting. I may be able to post a few short things for Painted Moose--we're working on baby requirements, but other than that, don't ask much of me. I can't handle it right now.
Yes, I've read the rules about Hiatusing. I will be back.
