Dancer let everyone talk for a while as she sat silent untill she relaxed again. Letting the moment wash over her again but still not really looking at Blaze for some time. Instead she set back and closed her eyes. After a slow breath she said as she remembered, "We have some lovely dances. Some to celebrate a happening, some to express how one feels and yes sometimes we danced because we felt the need to within us. A longing for motion." Hands slowly moved across the top of the water as she became lost in her mind. "I miss it. I was told I was..." Then her eyes opened and she waved a hand. "Oh that seems so long ago anymore. I just hope I don't trip on my own feet tomorrow night when I do my dance for the group."

Dewpaw grew interested in Dancer's talk of dancing ((lol, that sounds funny)). She swam slightly closer to her, but still stayed near Savith. "You're going to do a special dance? Ooo! What is it? We danced for a new cub and a good hunt or jsut to do it. I loved dancing when the wolves were howling. That was music enough for me!"

Dancer smiled brightly she was clearly over her embarrassment now thanks to Dew's questions. "Yes I want to do a dance for everyone. I wouldn't expect anything to take away your breath but it should entertain well enough." Now a modest little giggle bubbled forth and she shrugged a bit. "The roar of the cats was always welcomed as well. It seemed to add a bit more of who we were and are to the motions. A bit more animalistic as the sound filled your ears and vibrated your chest to your very core." She then pulled herself in a bit. "It was a lot of fun to say the least but I hope the guys can maybe fashion a few things to make some sort of sound with otherwise they sing." That made her chuckle as she passed a glance between Savith and Blaze.

His mood quite improved by the warmth and cheerful banter, Blaze tried to imagine Dancer dancing. "I'm shure ya won't dissapoint; after all that's what ya were named for, wern't it?. I know I'm lookin' forward to it. As fer singin', I sound like an old, loneley jackal. I might have something in the way of music, though." Grinning mischeviously, he turned his head to look at Savith. "An' you, old bird? Do ya croak like vulture or do ya coo like a dove, hmm?"

Hearing Blaze ask his question made Dancer laugh quietly. Didn't he just go through this with her and Dew on the path today? Oh well it was funny to see Saviths face that she knew must be comming. Still the thought that their might actually be music made her very happy and she could help but intrupt, "What sort of instrament do you have Blaze?" Blue eyes wide as she looked at him wanting to know.

Savith gave Blaze a faint nod in acknowledgement of his locksend, but let the moment pass. Thankful that the comments about his druken stupors were behind them, he just idling lounged, listening to the younger elves chat. That was, until Blaze asked him if he cooed.
"Neither," was all he replied, tone an odd mix of insulted and proud. As for his face, while he frowned in what had to be annoyance, his chin did lift slightly, and hid it by peering at an errant cloud.

"Pipes. If I can find sum reeds or hollow braches of some sort, I can make me a set o' pipes." He sent her a brief image of simple set of tubes, and a few notes. "I can play 'em better than I can sing 'long, see?"
Savith's preening incited a another raised eyebrow from Blaze. "Lookin' at the stars again, eh?" He guessed he'd hit a nerve, and was too comfortable not to tease.

"Ooooh we had those as well in my tribe. Some were very big and sounded so lovely. Heck even a little one maakes a sweet song when in skilled hands." She gave Blaze a soft smile. No she didn't hate Blaze but she sure didn't like him like that either. "If we could get a big enough skin we might be able to fashion some sort of drum." She thinks a bit. "I wonder if anyone can play one?"

Savith glanced at Blaze, retorting in answer to his question, "Problem with that?" His tone was even and unaggressive. It was just the wording that sounded... snippy.

Blaze smiled smugly, replying in his usual drawl. "Nope. Can't stop ya from lookin', can I?" He looked straight at Savith, trying to incite the glider into at least arguing, if he wasn't going to talk.

Savith nodded once, replying, "No, you can't." And he turned his gaze back skyward, even though he was getting a bit bored with it.

Blaze shrugged. "Well, actually, I could, but why would I ever wanna do sumpin' like that? We're all friends, right?" There was something about Savith that suddenly bothered him, something about his cool pride, and his voice gave an edge to the last word.

Savith turned to regard Blaze for a long moment. Finally, he just shrugged and dropped his gaze to the wisps of steam that drifted up from the water's surface.

And that look made Dancer's eyes widden and her jaw drop. "We are not friends here then?" Her tone was a touch angry and a lot hurt.

**Are we? I need to know; can I count on You when the knives are drawn?** Blaze was smouldering, his irritation building on itsself. "I will not hold it against you if you say no, nor will I leave you in the way of harm, but if you do, I will know to get my back to a rock rather than yours." He had switched to a locksend, but the intensity of it would have alerted Dancer and Dew if they were paying close attention.
