Raster took a look around. Seeing noone around to embarrass them. He swam up close and moved a fin to cover his mouth while he spoke quietly like conveying a secret. "Ok. Well, most fish consider it unhealthy or uncooth to eat it like this. Most fish take it back to their "homes" to sit for a day or two. I think it tastes better when it's fresh off the vine. I don't think it would hurt you. I nibble on them whenever I have a chance; so far nothing's bad ever happened to me. But, I kind of keep it a secret cuz I can't stand when my family start going on adn on about the urban myths around here." He rolled his eyes when he said his family. He loved them dearly; but somestimes osme of them could be a bit much.

What the other clown was telling him sounded intersting. "really? well now i want to try this!" he had a smile on his face, "lets go get some to eat, just between us then! I do not mine trying new things. And i do not really care what other fish say about things. your habbits are your own, and how can you help what you like? that is like saying you want different parents." he started to swim over to where he saw the other clown. "by the way, my name is Otaku"

At first, this seemed too good to be true. Someone wanted to try something weird with him? He almost wanted to wonder if this was some trick or prank on the part of his relatives. However, due to his desire to have some friends of his own outside the family clan. He swam up and nodded. "Yeah. Ok then.." He nibbled a little then decided to maybe recommend something. "The better parts are the ones floating in the water. The parts of it that get bogged down and droop to the ocean floor aren't really any good. Those parts can make you sick. Just so you know..." He decided to go along for the ride even as nervous as he was about it.

Otaku picked a piece of where the other beta pointed to, "here right?" He smiled and picked some. Taking it and eating it. He liked it. Though not as much as the stuff he got in his tank, but it was still good. "This is good. Though i like it dryed a bit better, I do not mind eating this! Thanks for showing me." Otaku nibbled on some more. "so like i said i am Otaku, who are you?"

"Oh, yes. Sorry for my rudeness. I'm Raster. I come from a rather large clownfish clan. " Raster watched him. He was mostly convinced by now that this Otaku was not sent by his family to mess with him.

Otaku smiled at Raster. "It is very nice to meet you. A lot of clownfish? really? That is neat! i do not know many other clown fish. only the few in my tank. My owner does not have a lot of them either." Otaku smiled and picked a bit more munching on some and putting a little in his pocket for later. It would make a great snack on the go, and he was sure to tell Raster. "you know this picked freash will be a great snak to take with me. never know when i will get hungry and be away from home."

Raster nodded. "Well, it was also nice to meet you. We're like.. friends now, right?" This was pretty nice. A real friend. He couldn't say he had many of those. Maybe making trips away from home would be a good idea more often.

Raster started to make with a glib facial expressions. "Yes. In fact, our family is quite a sprawling clan. The only one out of everyone who has to be all weird about it is Guess; but I got a feeling she will return soon. Her rebel life hasn't turned out to be as fulfilling as she thought. But, both my parents are clownfish. I already have a son; and most of my siblings have children. My older brother just had his first breeding. The gang is primarily clownfish... though some of them are betas now. I guess some of the family has mixed with some beta blood. You're welcome to come meet them if you want. I can just imagine them wanting to embarrass me though. They love telling stories about childhood to people."

"it is great that you have a big family, but not all that nice that they pick on you. You are very nice and i cannot see why they would want to embaress you." Otaku looked a little sad at the idea that his new friend was picked on by his family.

"Well, I mean.. I understand it's not malicious. I think it's just something that happens in big families. They all are big time busy bodies. And, my neice just came back to the pack. Noone even met her before cuz her mom was all trying to prove a point to our mom." He just flicked his fins about.

 Bandido was swimming along. He was out and about checking out the scene. His aunts and uncles who liked to dote on him was starting to make him feel suffocated. He had to get away from them. Especially with his Grandma Aoi mating finally to her on and off again lover, Nen. All their other kids he never saw were visiting their place in the coral reef.

 Midora swam out of her home and off towards the coral reef. She hadn't been out for a while to have a little fun. As she swam she surveyed the area, it hadn't changed much that she could see.

Bandido was out swimming, and then he saw a pretty fem beta swimming about. He lurked behind a large piece of sea plant and mused to himself. "Hmm...." His eyes narrowed in a pleased sort of way. He was definitely gonna try to score some points with her. He thought surely he would be wiley like his hold man.
He swam out directly to her. "Well, Hello there ma'am. Do you need any help or an escort around the reef?"
